Just a recommendation as you are allowed to do as you please but typically you would wipe off after every step when using compound and polish. You dont want to get compiund in the same pads you use to polish. With that being said, pad washers are a great investment, especially if you plan to keep doing this. Nonetheless still looks great and still enjoy the content. Cheers🤘🏼
One of if not the best detail that covered on this Channel, and big props to you because GMC paint are very unpredictable imho and u did it very well. Amazing Props to u Bob and Jake because real detailers know its not easy "detailing" that much real estate in any given time. Well done!
Hey a cool tip would be if you changed the cabin air filter when doing a deep clean like this so that when they turn the heat or a/c on it doesn’t smell old and circulates fresh air.
You guys did great job seriously a lot of hours and the tools and the chemicals and the place very professional but the owner is very funny as hell when he throws the water 😂 and hit you. That was the money shot.
Are you able to give a warehouse tour? I know it's not what you normally but I think it would be cool to see what goes on behind the scenes when I order something.
Sorry if this is super long. I like to be thorough. I love your dog. My lab likes to carry his bone everywhere. Can you take a dive into your underbody sprayer? What vacuum do you use? Why do you use cleaner if you use a steam cleaner? I thought that cleans it by itself? 17:01 Use small air dryer? When you’re spraying through the IK sprayer, why is your air compressor refilling back up? That thing isn’t hardwired to it? 30:58 Brown staining along the seal or is that the shadow? The Iron Stuff. On the paint and wheels it’s best if you also work it in with a wash mitt. Then do claybar afterwards. Then polish. God Bless
Thanks! I went into a bit more detail on the Mosmatic hurricane pro on my jeep detail video check it out. The steam cleans good but it hits hard I like to loosen the grime with soap and then rinse with steam a little softer. The iK sprayer has a built on compressor that kicks on when the psi drops and maintains it. The brown is probably a shadow it came out pretty clean very easy, or I missed a spot lol. This iron decon mentioned mitting is optional, I was tired of all the mitting lol
Hey Bob, I was looking into starting a detail business here in California just like yours (you inspired me a lot), quick question, how do you ensure that you don't fry any electronics in the interior detailing with all the water/cleaners you use?
(My opinion) Disconnect the battery before starting the interior and dry everything off best you can then use the air compressor do eject water from small places.
This was awesome. 😂😂Two things! First, wtf was on the liner of the cab? And second, steam is your friend, and you have one of the best I have seen in any detailing video. And as a side note, I had 2 cups of coffee watching this video 😂😂☕️Till the next one.
My curiosity is with all the removed grime / muck. how much worn in weight is removed from the vehicle. Take a "clean" car ( eg no clutter in console glovebox and such ) detail it top to bottom, but weigh it before and after ( allow for fuel usage moving it about? ) to see what kind of dead weight just dirt dust and such would add to such a vehicle, not expecting crazy numbers but would be surprised if it's more than 6.6lbs (3kg)
Do you have the motion/swipe on/off set to on on your scan grip headlight ? You can wave your hand across the light and it’ll turn it on or off . One of the buttons can’t remember what side but it will disable that feature and the light will stay on. I get several hours out of mine.
Bro I havnt watched your content for about a year until now! Man your like a magician going from foaming the rig with that tip and NO FOAM cannon to quickly changing over to your pressure washer wand and it just sprays water 😅 u got a a helper down low changing the settings LOL. Btw stars and strips what recommended pressure washer would u recommend to use as a mobile detailer . Cuz I wanna use your products on RVs :)
Good evening God bless you and your family I'm starting my detailing business and I was wondering if you have any samples available that I could try for my business to see if where I live it works for my customers down here thanks William God bless
What soap did you use on the camper. I might have missed it. What psi and nozzle do you use to rinse it. Last question. I live in Florida and don’t have a good garage or shaded area. How prone is it to water spotting?
THE man Yoakum/Petty ;) ..doin it again. Awesome video , unbelievable job. I think a job like that is worth north of 5K around here - if - you could even find someone half as good to do it. Be careful up on those wet trailers , fall from up there gonna F you up bad. Stay safe man , keep pumping out the amazing videos Any link to what steamer and brushes you’re using ?
@@bgaabo3 it’s still not ideal, but it can work. Modern headliner’s are a bit more durable, I’d say most post 2005/6ish or so. Auto detailers will argue until they’re blue in the face how to best do it, but in my use cases, a Rinseless wash and lightly soaked towel with some gentle rubbing and dabbing dry with clean towels works the best. I’ve heard light steam cleaning and dabbing with dry towels will also do a good job? No experience so attempt at own risk. As with any advice from random strangers on the internet, cross check with some googling and do what you feel comfortable with!

Oh man, headliners is advisable not to be cleaned with an extractor. Headliners will become soggy because of the glue getting damaged with water and the material of headliners is like a carton which expands and breaks. The better is to use a dry cleaning like foam for seats and microfiber towels on that single spot besides using a vacuum cleaner.
Excellent, You were so close to going full Hazmat Suit with all that mouse cabin poop. Too bad the climate control system couldn't have been steam cleaned also.
This is the Detail Video of the year
I absolutely love these long form detailing videos. You keep it interesting every time, thanks for the great content!
I put snake oil on it last year and it still repels good ** ACTUALLY THROWS FULL WATER BOTTLED ** 😂😂 best one yet

Dang inspiring vid, as a detailer this opened my mind to what can be done faster, that was a huge project

You can wash the motor with out covering any parts?
Depends on who you ask, you can get a million answers. Some say yes; some say no.

When is @AMMO-NYC going to bring out the sawzaw brush?
Been waiting for another video, your content is awesome.
Where can i find that kit for the vacuum/extractor ? I have the same vacuum cleaner and i would like to use it as an extractor aswell! 😮

If you’re not using a filter on your water, it will water spot no matter what soap you use.
It’s a de-ionizer filter.
What is this snake oil stuff? First time i’m hearing about this. How is is it applied and how long does it actually last.
That snake oil repels water very well for it being a year. That water bottle bounced right off 😂😂😂
Bob do you run any type of DI system when washing?
You should use a panel prep after polishing before you use the snake oil. you will get a better bond and see fare better hydrophobics
Hi....Could you tell me which setup you have for your pressure washer ? (Brand / Model...) and how much GPM and PSI it puts out?
I have the newest scangrip headlamp and it lasts over 4 hours for me. I’ve almost had it a year
what made that roof liner stain ? did it have a leak, I'm not sure what they did with it but the ole girl has had a hard life
What kind of stuff you using for paint correction?

I’ll get to work on that😁
Looking forward to every new content and products! 👊👍
Am I the only one questioning the Denali badges on the sle truck or
No I wondered the same thing. Truck is an SLE at the least
Cuál steamer es que usa ???
"I got an idea". Didn't the other guy create that 11:47?
How many hours did this one take you to finish?
He said it in the video. 30 hours
What Soap did you use
What steamer is he using?
Bob, who makes the extractor attachment you use? @ChemX
@bigpete405 on instagram he works right through the DMs
Great video really enjoyed
Nice work, my man! 👊🏻😎🔨
That rv roof surely has blown water seals after using that beast of a pressure washer on it at point blank range.
What pump sprayer is that?
brand is IK. He sells them on his website
Too satisfying. Too good.
As a customer what would a job like this cost me no rv just truck ?
Prices vary. A total wash, decontamination, paint polish/ ceramic coating can be almost $500 or more depending on the vehicle.
What steamer are you using ?
I use the chief steamer 155 it’s awesome
How long did this detail take? You must have been wiped out after this. Great work brother.

Seeing an extractor used on headliner is always **pain** but sometimes, ya just can’t avoid it. Hopefully gm used good glue!

lol does this thing have snake oil on it?!?!? Chris always bring a laugh to a video. Nice work team Chem-X!! Nothing about ya'll is half ass!!
crazy outcome
I would have just taken the carpet out and pressure washed it. Is there a reason you chose not to do that?
Pressure washer can damage the carpet. Too much of a hassle as well.

Next time use acidic wash on the roof of the camper and it will clean faster and better.
What kind of foaming pressure washer gun is that and where do I get it? That looks so much easier than a foam cannon
It’s the nozzle itself.
