Faye, you saved the day for me. I received the mousse and gel in the mail on Friday. I washed my hair Sunday, used a little Sweet Potato Pie Leave In with the mousse and gel. Let my hair air dry and went to church. Was not a good look for my kinks & coils. Followed your steps this morning including the dryer. The coils are lifted and doing their thing. I didn’t want to try her products when they first came out because everyone was saying they definitely smelled like sweet potato pie. I was grateful for that in a way because everyone was raving about them, but I was broke, so I used the smell as an excuse to not buy…I can’t do that anymore it seems😭😭😭. I probably need to try it without the leave in cause mine is very soft hold. But I love the results. I have the gel and mousse in the back of my hair. And the gel by itself on one side of my hair in the front, with the mousse by itself on the other side. So my Day 2 hair looks and feels like Day 4 hair. I will definitely try it without the leave in next time though. Your results are beautiful!😍

Bask and Lather Co has a great edge control you should check it out. I have strong 4c thick hair and it works pretty good, maybe you can test it out and do a video.
Have you tried the edge control that went viral on tiktok called bask and lather? I'm pretty sure that will work for you. It's great and holds all day.

Your hair looks great! Girl I have fine hair and a looser pattern and that edge control wouldn’t work for me. I have to use a stiff gel cause of not my edges curling up like they meant to hang low instead of laying flat.

Hi Faye. Gee I haven't watched a hair video in so long. Girl, you look good. Its been so long. Do you have anymore children. I gave up the hair videos when I wound up getting a large bald spot in the middle of my head. Now you know that I was playing Dr. Quack and trying to fix it. Lol, then I realized that it was from my wigs and not wearing a wig cap. Then for the past 10 months I've been wearing a plastic bag under my wigs. #REALLY?, and my hair wasn't growing back. Do you know how hot it was with a plastic cap under a wig or a slap cap in July? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I thought that I was going to melt like the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. 😰😰😰😰. The dermatologist was being supportive. Oh wait did I tell you that I was using all kinds of hair oils? I thought that I was going to slide out of the bed some nights. Duh, then the light bulb came on, Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I just started braiding the circumference of my head, then wore my hair up so nobody could see the bald spot, now that hair is growing back. Took me forever to figure that out. I hope all is well with you and the family. I can't wait to try this product.
