Always love these phone reviews/tours in the city. It really stands out from other tech youtubers. Now I want to go to New York (I already have the 8 pro so box checked)
But do you even hear anything about the phone he's reviewing in his daily life? I'm not here for a history lesson I want to hear about his experience with the pixel 8 pro.
I always look forward your review videos because not only do I get a review of a product but see a glimpse of your world with a sprinkle of knowledge about your favorite coffee spots.. mini history lessons are great! No one does it like you! 😊🎉
Ah this is what I was waiting for! Really good to see the coffee shop and its history. Really liked the botanical gardens, an excellent place for testing the cameras. I do like how USA/New York destinations such as the botanical gardens and the Bronx Zoo does halloween, here in the UK, its no where near as elaborate. I'm currently a Pixel 6a owner, use to have the Pixel 5 which one of my sons now has. I'm not sure if I should stick with the 6a until the 8a, or treat myself to the 8 Pro; think I might wait until your Pixel 8 review.
I keep watching your videos even though I have no interest in buying these devices, still happy with my Pixel Fold. I love the day in the life trips. Also, I know the constant background noise is frustrating, but I genuinely enjoy seeing the struggle. Have a great day. Another amazing video as always.

I am a new iPhone user, with the 14 Pro Max since July, and I will be trading it in today in order to get the Pixel 8 Pro. The first month on iPhone wasn't so bad, but every day use is pretty awful after switching from Android.

This phone shoots some damn good videos. Google is really stepping up their game with this phone. You can tell that they're aiming their sights at both Samsung and Apple.
Another great video and tour! Turkish coffee is a guilty pleasure. The botanical garden looks amazing. To answer your question, yes I consider the Pixel 8 Pro worth the extra $100. Using the camera does deplete the battery, but it is worth it. Have you tried the astrophotography feature?

Great video as always. Loving my Pixel 8 Pro. Whenever I try to switch, they keep pulling me back in! I lived in the Bronx for 10 years, and never went to the Botanical Gardens, not sure how I missed that, wish I had after seeing your visit. There is still the West Bronx and the Riverdale/Van Cortlandt Park area with Wave Hill that would be a good place for a real world test video IMHO. Keep up the terrific content!

Thanks for the review , the pixel 8 pro is definitely much improved over the pixel 7 pro , the form factor is better, easier to hold in the hand , the display is much more brighter, it's seems the camera s have more light coming in to lens, night shots much improved, battery so so , I 🤔 the build quality is A plus, very happy with the phone , I have had a lot Android phones , from pixel,Sony , one plus , Samsung ,😮 Nothing phone, and my two favorite phones are pixel 8 pro and Samsung flip phone , !
This device is very interesting, but not sure if because of all the geolimitations of some services (even the warranty) is not a worldwide device right now, but I like it a lot. Btw eventually more noise bloopers that's funny for us but sad for you lol. Great video Sir
Video looks great, display is on par with Samsung, haptics are the best in any phone including the ai features. Its a whole package. If only it had fast charging
For the bloopers, wouldn't audio eraser help with that? Just copy the recording file to the phone, erase background noise and then put it back to the computer to finish the editing
The Tensor chip is so much less efficient and runs so much hotter compared to 8G2 (and now 8G3). It doesn't feel like it belongs in a $1000 phone. If this had the 8G2, even if that meant getting rid of some AI features, I'd be sold. I love the design, the software, the display, and mostly the camera. But the chip holds it back significantly for me, so I'll likely be sticking with Samsung for now.
I own a 13 Pro with A15 and a Nothing Phone (1) with SD778G+. My 2 phones are smooth, Battery life IS fine and il don't feel restricted at all. Tensor G3 is not the best but if you think about a little bit more, if you take your Pixel as an personal assistant, then it's totally fine. Google really need to introduce Pixel as the best personal assistant and not only like a smartphone with AI Features for cameras.
nah, the worst thing is battery can not last you a day and it support 7 years. I don't want to stuck with a phone with 2020 chipset, terrible battery life and 33w charging for almost a decade. Holy crap !!! Google showoffs their software on a phone, but only for someone who can really get benefit with it. If u r a regular people, you can not go wrong with iphone or samsung.@@iAfroTech

The basic Temperature sensor was a Bad move .. They should've atleast added extra Sensors in the same Area so that it Could Measure The O2, Heart Beat and stress with the addition of Body Temperature sensor like there was In Galaxy S8 !!!

I feel like it is safe to say but the ultra wide video is not as strong or crisp as in the main sensor of the phone's camera. Great video like always. I think I'm going to get the Pixel 8 Pro when I get my tax returns but I still want to see what's this Video Boost feature is about and hopefully that feature will be available when it drops in December.
I appreciate your great work. I wish you used only the phone you're testing for all video where the phone is not in the frame. Because I go, is this his mirror less or is this the phone ... That's my suggestion box suggestion. Plus everyone is using phones for front camera all day. Could you do far more front cam video with built in mic please? Thanks.

Great video. Thank you for showing us the zoo and the botanical gardens. Next time I am in NY, I will be going to both. I like the idea of the Pixel8Pro but I just cannot get past the Samsung phones. They sound more exciting and like they have more to give or are more fun to use. I am trying to get excited, but I can't get there. Also, Samsung has an actual ecosystem. There is a reason they make sense. Does Google have a real ecosystem? I can't get there. Am I lost? Am I missing something? Are there people out there who would choose Pixel over Samsung for some fundamental reason? Not just because they have some beef with Samsung but because they have something on the Pixel that is better...so much better that the difference is significant? It used to be the camera, but that time has passed. It used to be the price, but that time has passed. What is the reason now? Love to get your thoughts as it looks like a great phone, but the S23Ultra seems like a better deal, and the S24Ultra makes it seem like it is not in the same league...is that too much? Just got one month ago for $499 the 256 GB version, absolutely love it. Had a bug where wifi calling wasnt working for 2 weeks. But its fixed now.

Coming from s22 ultra exynos... It is actually an upgrade in battery life on the pixel 8.. 😅 2-3 SOT to 4-6 on the pixel.

With audio eraser, you won't have this issue. Just need to shoot everything on the pixel 8 pro.
