I'm loving how the tradwife trend seems to be making some of my favorite mom influencers more outspoken about how they live their faith in the home. Has anyone else noticed this? Big fan.

I never comment but I happened to be the first woman to watch this video. This is an answered prayer in community. I'm in the same boat and I've been doing a ton of reflection. I love how we can support each other as sisters in Christ but be so far apart! This is going to be a great series, Beth! ❤️

This is such a beautiful encouragement. It’s also convicting. Thank you. I’m a first time mom to a 7 month old and a full time homemaker. I quickly became overwhelmed with managing my home after my son was born. Like you, none of my “old” systems were working which led to frustration. The simple idea of leaving a space better than when you walked into it is a revelation. I mean that sincerely.
I also appreciate the reminder that this lifestyle is an answer to prayer. That reminder helps me to remain grateful even when days can seem repetitive, mundane, tiring, and hard.
I also really like the idea of making a list of things to pray over my family members for. That’s such a smart way to remember how to lift them up each day!

Girl, I'm a working homemaker, if that is a thing, lol. I would love to be a SAHM one day! Thank you for the advice, definitely gonna implement some ideas, like the cleaning some as I go.

love this! I'm a first time mom and just went back to work part time as a night shift nurse - so things have been a bit all over the place as I'm learning to balance everything. But, all that to say I still want to give my family my best effort and priority :) I've been looking for ways to improve my household management, budgeting and also the spiritual aspect of homemaking too! all that to say I'm excited for this series!

I love how you bring your Christian faith into your videos & influencing. I grew up Christian, strayed away from my faith as I got older; however my husband came from a faith based household and since being married to him I’ve been growing closer to God and it’s truly been amazing. I definitely look up to you and your content. ❤

Love this idea. I’m a full time working mom and I still feel like I can make small changes that impact our family. I’d love to learn more about how you implement praying over your family. This is definitely an area where I struggle.
We’ve been really loving utilizing the fruits and veggies from our garden, so I want to continue committing to making fresh meals that fit our family.

This is so encouraging, I am a homemaker for my wonderful husband, 2 year old son, and now our 3 week old daughter, I often feel overwhelmed with the daily tasks I have in front of me which often leads to me neglecting my duties as a homemaker. You are 100% right, and I definitely needed that reminder this is something I prayed for year after year that God provided me with, and alot of the time I just say we'll I'm doing good enough, but seeing this has encouraged me to do better and work on my performance. I am definitely going to work on leaving a space better than I found it, and I want to start a prayer Jornal too and start praying for my family something I've definitely neglected❤ thank you and I look forward to this new series and hope you can help encurege many more homemakers like me, I feel like now a days people tell each other that they are doing great and they don't need to change or improve however sometimes you need to hear I believe you can do better and I'm excited to watch as you achieve your potential!

This is very timely for me. I’ve been a homemaker for 5 years now, but I know I need to do better, especially now that I’m about to give birth to our first baby any day now. My husband and I have had 5 years of just being a couple of nerds with a growing hoard of collectibles and games, but since finding out we were pregnant in January we have donated, sold, and organized most of our clutter. I’ve kept a clean enough home, but I can do better, not just for my husband who works from home, but for my son and myself. I want to create an environment that my husband and myself can relax in each evening while teaching my son as he grows how to keep a clean home himself when he’s out on his own. I also want to be an example to him of the kind of girl he may want to look for when he’s older. Not a cookie-cutter version of me, but a woman who will care for his heart as I care for his father’s, who will care for their home, who will be a help to him. I want to do my best to be a woman as laid out in Proverbs 31 and be more faithful to pray not only for my family, but for my church family as well.
Thank you for this series and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Thank you so much for doing this, I really need it! I have 2 under 2 and have felt for so long that everything needs to be “perfect” and I worry more about cleaning then soaking up the babies and talking to God. I already love the first episode and can’t wait for more ❤

I absolutely love this perspective!!! I’m officially a homemaker / SAHM / WFHM (a little bit of work) as of two days ago when husband went back to work. I’ve been telling myself the same thing! This is my job. I do my best to stay off of social media & no TV during the “work day”! Makes me feel really good about the effort I’m putting in

So happy to see this today- the timing is impeccable! When I had my first baby two summers ago I returned to work remotely. I had my second baby this summer and my husband and I felt convinced that my time in the workforce is now complete and I should be focusing solely on home making. Yesterday was my last day of maternity leave and today marks day one as a full time SAHM. Excited to see the rest of this series and join this adventure alongside you!

Love how you shared about striving to not neglect praying for your family! Cleaning is very intuitive for me so I've been really trying to change our eating habits.. we are obviously on a hiatus with a newborn but I am wanting to start making our go to foods from scratch ! all that said, your video reminded me how powerful praying for our family is!!! This, video. The last week, has been the most rapid in spiritual growth, since my husband and I have come back to our walks with God. I had a really good talk with God this morning, and came down to feed my son, and instead of putting on the show I normally watch, I came over to TH-cam, actually thinking to myself, I wonder if Beth Grace Moore has anything up. And boom right there in the center of the screen, was this video, with a title that resonates in my heart heavier than you know. Thank you for trusting in him to put your words in your journey out here like this. This has been so encouraging and inspiring. I want to take this journey too! I'm going to challenge myself to work alongside you in a similar capacity!

I'm a wife to my husband of 6 years, first time mama to our beautiful 5 month babygirl and a new SAHM, which has always been my dream job and is such a blessing, but it's still been such a huge adjustment. I've always had a desire to be a homemaker but feel intimidated by the concept of transforming our house into a home, meal planning, finding an effective cleaning routine, etc. So I am absolutely here for this and so excited to dive into this journey together, even if I'm just starting to figure out the beginning basics 😅

Also praying more intentionally as well. Would love to know some more practical tips on this. When and how you go about doing it in terms of finding the time. I love this series idea! I'm in a similar stage of life right now and this is really helpful. One topic I'd be interested in you diving more deeply into is how you pray over your children. I'm a newer believer and feel a little unsure how I should be praying over my 19 month old and how to gradually involve her in prayer as she gets older. I also have an easier time praying silently than I do praying out loud, so any advice about how to be a better leader of prayer would also be helpful. Thanks!

    • @bekahstairs
      @bekahstairs หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Love this!
I've found that thinking about the things that would help my child come to know Christ or grow in their faith can be really helpful. Things like their future friendships, relationships, and protection over the things they hear and see. A lot of times I end up praying over things that come up during the day, like growing in patience, their relationship with their siblings, thanking God for different aspects of their personalities, and praying for ways that they can use their talents to honour him.
We pray with and over our kids out loud before bed, and as they get older we start to ask them if there's anything that they want to pray for. I'm hoping that this will help them grow, both knowing that they're being prayed over and make it easier for them to feel comfortable praying too.
