    This video is great. Not everybody has a four wheel drive. Keep up the good work.

      2 wheel drive trucks are useless, they get stuck in wet grass.

    You can measure your distance in between the front and back of your tires to eachother and basically align at home. You can get it pretty much as good as they do at a shop.

    what you could do for a torque wrench "adapter" is take your favorite adjustable wrench, preferably a good brand name one that holds its adjustment, and a 3/8 drill bit with a triangle file and make yourself an adjustable torque wrench adapter. i put the 3/8 square dirve about 2in down from the adjusting screw. you can put it where ever fits your needs but make sure theres enough meat about the drive square to withstand the torque to be applied. its cheaper than buying actual torque adapters plus you have a wider range of sizes this way.
    hope it helps for future projects.

    just need a big pipe wrench to remove the old one. I used a 1 1/2" claw with a 1/2" torque wrench to reinstall. skinny zip ties work the best for the inner rubber boot. Moving the rack side to side made it much easier to work on the inner tie rod end.

    Nobody has this kind of tie rod, everyone just has the screw on screw off, nobody has the pink collar. Thanks for making a tutorial on this.

    Is there anything holding the pink collar in place?

      It is pretty much sandwiched in there . It seems to serve no purpose . Thanks for the question

    On the boot, was there a metal ring?

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes , its a crimp ring . Break it off with a screw driver and put a zip tie back. You can get a crimp band tool also and since its off you could easily put a band back. Thanks again for the feedback.
