      @@wolololer oh yes, absolutely! I think in this case, since the levels are harder each time, it would be alright to not take it as hard, and progress slowly! but to each their own y'know? everyone exercises differently, plus it can be fun to do challenging stuff as well -- so long as they're not overexerting themselves

    Thank you for creating a true beginner calisthenics workout. If I’m having trouble getting motivated to exercise, I know I can handle this, and once I’m warmed up, I always end up pushing myself harder/doing the more progressive exercises than I thought I’d have the energy for. I appreciate that you make it easy for me to make the healthy decision to move my body. I always feel good after I finish.

      @Purple Orchid I have anemia too it's crazy how it can take a toll on your body. Glad you're trying to step into a new habit, please remember to be kind to yourself and recognize that your anemia doesn't define you, to seperate yourself from the impacts it has on your body and to not guilt-trip yourself if you feel weak and have days that you prefer resting because that weakness isn't you and it's not your fault. Good luck with calisthenics, wishing you to recover and to be healthy 🙏

    I don't understand why everybody explains how to exercise without any explanation on how to breathe. If you don't breathe in the right way workouts can be damaging or useless.... It's hard for me to breathe while I'm focusing on the muscles I should feel while i'm mooving...so i'm asking if is it possible to have an explanation on how to breathe correctly at least on the main exercises? Thank you

    • @SaxeGrove
      @SaxeGrove 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'n not an expert, but I breathe using my lower abdomen (like long distance runner or singer) when I can. I breathe in on moving one way (back exercise - on the way up) and out the other way. I believe Miss Lucy mentions this in that exercise. If my stomach muscles are hard at work I tend to use "shallow" breathing, that is using my chest, but I try to avoid it when I can. This works for me. Hopefully you will get this to work for you as well.

      I‘d recommend doing Yoga (specifically yoga with adriene). It really helped me with breathing and it helps you apply the techniques on different exercises/workouts. That way you can focus on the breathing first and then focus on the muscles. It takes some time getting used to it, but it’s definitely worth it (besides all the other benefits of Yoga) 🤗

    Today is the first day in my life trying calisthenics. I have been doing yoga for the past 6 months so I am so happy to find many of these moves are just like yoga but faster. I am so excited to begin my calisthenics journey. Thank you for this video, Lucy!
    P.S I love how the rest time is included in the video.
