I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Thank you for a pretty cool tour of some of the infield. I've seen six July races there over the years. Sat on the front stretch, the backstretch, and once in a pit lane hospitality suite. Never camped there over a weekend, though. Definitely a bucket list item. Good luck in Atlanta.
Thanks for the ride along. I've been to the upper part of Florida a few times, but only as far south as Tampa. Never been to Daytona. Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Take care and stay safe brother. From a retired trucker.
I worked for racing teams and driven all over the UK and Europe,..People think its such a great job,..When you are on the top of a trailer polishing it by hand in the blazing sun then the novelty soon wears off !
I've only ever had one hauler with a train horn, and it was on there when I got it, so I don't really know, but my guess would be that there's not really any preference
I would follow your Channel if you would record more. Maybe through out your trip to each destination. Just so we can have an idea on what it's like to be on the road from track to track
I couldn't say who makes the calls like that. If I had to guess, I'd say the may not want us weaving through the campground at 3am to use the tunnel. We typically do go out through the tunnel, but we were leaving much later than usual
Wth i thought Xfinity and cup were postponed until Monday? Or was this haulers for truck series? If its the latter might be helpful to put in the title of clip.
I'm not real sure. I definitely wondered the same thing, but I know a case was made to do just that, so safe to assume they had a reason. Whether it was a good one or not, I have no idea
I have a question, While you guys are out on the road hauling Equipment from Race to Race where so you all rest at for your DOT 10hr Breaks and your 30 minutes Breaks. We never see the drivers in TruckStops or in any if the Rest Areas. Do you guys just drive from Track ro Track. Just wondering
Is that the hood sqeaking in the background noise? Peterbilt famous for that ! Put some rags down over rubber blocks it eliminates that annoying sound lol
For a moment there it looked like you were gunning it to run up the bank. Start of the video I'm wondering how this is going to take 8 minutes, next thing I know, 8 minutes gone...
I've only heard it called floating. Full disclosure; I got my CDL 10 years ago and could shift anything flawlessly every time. I got out of driving trucks for a few years and I've been back to driving for 3 years and I've not been as smooth as I once was. Who knows why. 🤷
I have no idea. Maybe they didn't want to have us weaving through the campground at 3am... That's just a guess. I was way too tired to be asking questions 🤣
@@MotorRacingNGravyno road courses? Really. They used to come up to Ontario for a race every year on the road course. That’s a shame because the Cup series has too many and you guys have none.
Thanks for the advice 🤣 Let's see. I've been a US Marine. I was a Deputy Sheriff. Foreman on a tree service climbing and bucket crew. Fabricator.... I enjoy what I do, and I'm fine without your advice. 😉
You're right. Only about 40,000 people turned out Friday night for what's essentially a minor league race and another 101,000+ for the 500. I'm surprised anyone even noticed
These are the exact videos I have been looking for
Well welcome to the show sir! Thanks for watching!

@@MotorRacingNGravy You're welcome
U guys are best hauling race cars thank u for doing that vedio of big trucks
Damn 35k views nice I been here since like 200 subs 🤘🏼
Nice! Thank you for sticking it out!
@@MotorRacingNGravy yup keep @ it bud 🤘🏼
@@MotorRacingNGravy we need the intro theme again aha 🔥🔥

You definitely have to love this stuff. I can agree the novelty wears off, but I still love what I do.
Good video NASCAR Haulers
Thank you for watching
Bummer about the race. Team-wide sense of loss, obviously. Question: what are popular brands and models of the train horns used on NASCAR haulers?
I've only ever had one hauler with a train horn, and it was on there when I got it, so I don't really know, but my guess would be that there's not really any preference
@@MotorRacingNGravy Thx. Happy racing!
hate seeing anyone go home so early , and then the rain came . Well , no massive traffic rush heading back . Look forward to Atlanta
I'm ready for Atlanta too! 😁
Wait so the 500 ain’t happening
Yes it is I believe these are truck haulers
Correct. I drive the 18 hauler for McAnally Hilgemann Racing and driver Tyler Ankrum in the Truck Series.
Cool
Looked like a really good finish setting up, being taken out at the end was frustrating.
Very. We all wanted it in the worst way
You can really see the gradient of the track I have not seen that in any video before thanks.
I would follow your Channel if you would record more. Maybe through out your trip to each destination. Just so we can have an idea on what it's like to be on the road from track to track
Good luck.we are with you buddy.
I appreciate it!
New sub here
Thank you for watching! 😁
WTF. Why did they send out of the track that way? Your footage was awesome of being on the race track with your hauler.
I couldn't say who makes the calls like that. If I had to guess, I'd say the may not want us weaving through the campground at 3am to use the tunnel. We typically do go out through the tunnel, but we were leaving much later than usual
Heyyy my dad was a hauler for TS ❤
Wth i thought Xfinity and cup were postponed until Monday? Or was this haulers for truck series? If its the latter might be helpful to put in the title of clip.
It’s trucks
it's
#18
Tyler Ankrum crew. truck series
Cool thanks 👍🏻
I suppose I should have watched more videos I see you have done that already. Now I will follow your Channel
No harm done. 🤣 I'm always happy to listen to suggestions. I'm always trying out new things. Some stick, some don't.
Just how tall are NASCAR haulers? Beginning @5:00, the lead truck looks as tall as the high-bank turn you both went through.
They're all the standard 13' 6" ... Add a couple inches for the observation deck folded on top
I had no idea the race was even today 😂😂 thought it was rained out. I was more worried about the dirt fellas
Assuming you had to wait for the ARCA race to be over to leave, why didn’t they let you leave the tunnel you came in from?
I'm not real sure. I definitely wondered the same thing, but I know a case was made to do just that, so safe to assume they had a reason. Whether it was a good one or not, I have no idea
You are lucky to be out of there with all the rain lol
Tell me about it! 🤣
I have a question,

We never see the drivers in TruckStops or in any if the Rest Areas. Do you guys just drive from Track ro Track.

We definitely stop for the breaks. Almost all trucks have elogs just like a freight truck.
Is that the hood sqeaking in the background noise? Peterbilt famous for that ! Put some rags down over rubber blocks it eliminates that annoying sound lol
I'll give it a try 🤙
For a moment there it looked like you were gunning it to run up the bank. Start of the video I'm wondering how this is going to take 8 minutes, next thing I know, 8 minutes gone...
It was originally 21 minutes. I edited it down to 8 🤣
How does one get lucky enough to get this job?
Put in resumes with teams until someone gives you a shot.
Is this driving around in circles still a thing?
Do you speed shift or shift without pushing the clutch in? What is that called nowadays
I've only heard it called floating. Full disclosure; I got my CDL 10 years ago and could shift anything flawlessly every time. I got out of driving trucks for a few years and I've been back to driving for 3 years and I've not been as smooth as I once was. Who knows why. 🤷
If they rescheduled for tomorrow why not just stay at the track?
Whoever designed that way for semis had their head up their keister. Happy trails home.
I thought they just had the tunnel turn.
What time leaving daytona to shop
I think we left the track around 3am
@@MotorRacingNGravy Oh man, that sucks!
do the haulers blow their horn when they parade out?
As long as the campground isn't in the quiet hours yes... I have a video where I forgot this rule and Ron Hornaday Jr came out to remind me. 🤣
Lol, Xfinity and Cup run tomorrow... Gotta be the truck haulers.
Correct
why would they take you out that way and no out thru a tunnel
I have no idea. Maybe they didn't want to have us weaving through the campground at 3am... That's just a guess. I was way too tired to be asking questions 🤣
Was this arca?
Truck Series
Left over bad blood from last season?
It's Daytona what else you expect
Truck series better at smaller tracks to me, but you gotta put on a show.
I like a mixture of all the tracks. We don't have any road courses this year unfortunately, but plenty of short tracks and intermediates
@@MotorRacingNGravyno road courses? Really. They used to come up to Ontario for a race every year on the road course. That’s a shame because the Cup series has too many and you guys have none.
My mistake. I totally forgot about COTA. So there is one
It sucks it's not racing
Aim higher than being a truck driver.

HOW RUDE
