the cat has strength and toughness 8 , 9 wounds , bs 6 ws1, movement depends on the time of day: miday 1-3 inches midnight 67- to infinity inches, 1 up invul save unless opponent has a laserpointer.
I like them. I'm loving all the new Primaris stuff at the moment. Great review. I've said this before, I admire the reviewers that use their own hard earned cash to buy the models for reviews rather than expect them to be given to them for reviews. To me when they get freebies I find that a false review. Your reviews are very informative like your other pal's leaky cheese. Yous two are the only review channels I watch now.
I can confirm that the Terminator shoulder pads fit on the Aggressors (so chapter-specific pads, like the ones from the Black Templars chapter upgrade set will work). Just be careful with pads that have a rim around the top (e.g. Deathwatch terminator shoulder pads) as there isn't very much clearance between the shoulder and the backpack vent on the Aggressors. You may need to shave/file down the rim to make it fit in there. I haven't tried putting Aggressor pads on a Terminator, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't fit.
I really like their armour but I hate their weapons. Seriously why are they wielding nothing in their actual hands? They're fire support that are in full hands-free mode and it looks so weird. They don't look like the reason for it is so they can use their power fists in melee because the weapons are too far ahead of their fists. Now I understand that if you could just have your hands free then you obviously would but considering how basically everything else is actively wielding at least one weapon these stand out as looking kinda ''lazy'' if you know what I mean.
I love the models and most of the rules, but I think they must go in a Repulsor with a command figure as they will be destroyed at range and they need some extra oomph in close combat. Would be nice with either a 2 plus save or an invulnernerable save
The thing about aggressors is they don't suffer -1 to hit when shooting and advancing, so there's no reason not to advance. In practise this means that they'll be moving an average of 8 inches per turn. I think people are underestimating how quickly they can close the distance without a transport.
Thanks for the video- I really like the look of these models, and plan to pick some up today (it's my once-monthly trip to the hobby shop- so excited!). I really like the look of the Centurions as well, but they are $78.50 here, and I have so far decided to get more models for that amount of money. Its not like they are Knight Titans or something- and until your video, I had never seen a size comparison. I had no idea they were that small! Oh well, such is life... they still look cool. Thanks again!
I just started playing again(played from 3rd to 5th edition). I got a bunch of the easy to build kits from those starter sets and today decided to buy the Marine rulebook along with the full kit for these aggressors. First thing I did was look up one of your videos(probably should have done that before). The rules in the box are pretty bad. I was totally expecting 2+ save as well as 3 wounds. I look at the codex and at least they updated them to 3 wounds. But short range, no AP on weapons, only strength 4. I haven't really played the game in years but even a newb can see these rules are very bad. I was expecting something along the lines of the Inceptors but not jump troops. I'm still happy with my purchase because the aggressors look cool. But I think after a couple games I'll be using them as fillers for terminators.
Played a game with these guys today Paired them up with interceptors and I play Raven Guard so -1 to hit when shooting at them and the Inceptors when 12" away. Makes them very, very hard to kill. Can be even dirtier by throwing a Captain or Lt (Or both) with Jump Packs.
Models are okay. Rules are kind of meh. Like the Primaris marines they don't really have a battlefield purpose of their own but tend to have rules that overlap with other units. In other words, they won't be replacing my terminators or centurions.
Justin Burnside trust me from my experience centurions will almost always be a straight upgrade, the only way I've seen so far to make these guys useful is some Raven guard deep strike trick which seems really scummy
Just finished building a set of these - some of the most fiddly and frustrating models I have ever put together (including resin models). They look absolutely awesome and I want more - but super tedious to build.
Oh, I noticed that the drum isn't actually a drum, it's a feed for spitting out the empty casing, so don't upset for a confusing sight XD, great video by the way mate!
Love your videos mate, keep 'em coming. However, one small thing: comparing aggressors, you said terminators had double the Power Level but they have 5 models. Actually, i think it might be better to use points per model in this case? \ Aggressor is 25, Terminator is 26, which makes them virtually similar in terms of cost, not adding in the wargear of course. Just something interesting I wanted to point out.
actually bought some of these , not sure there that good though game play wise , as you put it delivery is the issue , they might get one shooting phase before getting stuck in combat and regular intercessors can at least use their pistols in the shooting phase .
Excuse my blistering ignorance but why do those derpstorm gauntlets have drum magazines when they are belt fed from a ammo hopper on the backpack? Also the sergents knee's are knocking, like it needs the toilet? All that water retention from being pregnant I guess...
Because they don't have a drum mag? If you look, the ammo feed comes in at the bottom of the weapon on the outer side of the gauntlet, then the "drum" is where the feed loops around so the ejection port is also on the outer side of the gauntlet.
cordial001 hahaha! Although you could well be right that would make them even more dimwitted. When a gun is fired the bullets shell or casing is usually distorted and cleared as quickly and clearly away as possible from the chamber. Most gun jammings are caused by crap getting caught in the mechanism. So having a distorted and debris ridden shell/casing rattle around in a loop is retarded. They would jam up and become inoperable within no time.
Hopefully this may change in the wh40k General's equivalent book when they have sold many Repulsor tanks. Some ridiculous rules regarding transport with Primaris marines and also Gulliman in 40k
Swh 19 if and when it does change it will be a really crappy move by GW. It will highlight that they purposely limited the transport options for Primaris just to sell a tank. How unsure were they that the tank would not sell? I mean it's a space marine tank and would sell regardless of options. GW might even have sold more land raiders and stormravens if they could transport them.
Right idea for the wrong army imo, the space marines already had a heavy support armour (adorable centurions) they didn't need another, this could have worked better as an imperial guard exo suit kind of model, working as a more expensive but tougher and more mobile heavy weapons team, or maybe give them to the eldar and make a wraith guard sniper squad or something (they shouldn't actually do this the space elves don't need more BS they have enough as it is)
Just curious on this. With the points of a centurion being roughly similar to an aggressor squad, would you take 3 centurions (1 squad) or 9 aggressors ( 3 squads)? I love the look of both units..I’m just getting into 40k but trying to weigh up my purchases before I spend cold hard cash.
I have the minis and love their aesthetic, but I'm struggling to find an application for them on the table. 2 wounds, 3+ save without an invuln, and very short range weapons has me thinking they'll be less "aggressor" and more "defender of artillery".
I'm surprised so many people don't like the look of them. I think they look amazing. I wish they would make one in a pose with both of his fists up and clenched together as though he were actively firing both weapons at once. THAT would be awesome. Maybe on some kind of sergeant or character model in the future.
god.... I don't mind them as long as they aren't meant to be Primaris terminators. If they are then i hate them, i absolutely hate them. I will be genuinely upset if there are no proper, more classic style terminators that are basically upgraded truescale old termies with some flashy new upgrades.
the models are nice enough. but GW priced me out of the game along time ago. the fact these guys are £10 each the compounds that issue. I think there pricing structure is GW's biggest flaw. I would love to play 40K but the models I have are no longer effective in the current version of the game and I cant afford to just go out and buy a whole slew of new models.
I love the models and got them not sure how much I will play them and their range is not great. In addition as they can only be load into the new Repulsor Tank. Last I think they are a bit pricey for a two wound model. So I most likely will not field them much. IF I do it will be with flamer version.
I don't know about these guys in terms of rules...not only are they inferior versions of centurions but even the other primaris options are superior to them...intercessors have more numbers and can hold objectives better, the inceptors have more firepower and are more maneuverable, and hellblasters speak for themselves...useless unit in my opinion. they should have just made primaris terminators instead.
That's what I was thinking. Use the Raven Guard tactics, set them up before the first turn. And don't move them during the movement phase so you can shoot 2x.
cant drop admech models like u can with most sm models. mine have several broken antennae, and those r annoying to glue back in place. not to mention storage
I only place my figures and models down gently either the respect something of this nature deserves. Especially a model you put together and painted. Y'all are fucking morons
Your right I was showing my dad my captain and he accidentally knocked it out of my hand, it fell like 4 feet bounced off a few things hit the floor (carpeted) and was undamaged besides a small ding. I was so relieved his iron halo didn’t break off.
Sayin I love you dude but I really do hate everything about these models. Looks, rules, fluff, everything. Just give us properly sized and ruled (aka “primaris”) terminators ffs! Edit: im going to have to convert my own if GW doesn’t hurry up and release them
Amanda Franks they were SUPPOSED to be but they were actually a failed attempt at trying to recreate it (terminator armour can no longer be built hence the rare usage of them)
Subtleknife12367 when I asked about what the inspiration for gravis armour is at my local store several different people told me that the technology for creating terminator armour is no longer available, henceforth it cannot be built and they tried to form a new method which produced Gravis armour (no where near as good as terminator armour, hence a fail) which is why the armour is such a rare relic (and why there is no terminator armies besides the death wing who are a 100 man strong force as far as my knowledge of company's goes Edit: however if you have a source which can prove me wrong, I would appreciate seeing it so I can correct a potential mistake
Dogma 515 White Dwarf April 2005 deep strike article I believe. Or just look at lexicanum. Basically not many can now produce it save for a very limited number of really big forge worlds like Mars. Production rate is very slow meaning most terminator armour does have to be cobbled together from many suits when a suit part breaks. Hope that helps.
WTF!? the Primaris marine is taller to the head then the aggressor lol I seriously can't understand the hype for the primaris marines. They look like the wrong fucking scale every gamer I see them in. Lovely designs mind you, not knocking the armor mark at all, the upscale was done was too aggressively though. Also the aggressors are what centurions should have been lol.
Love those little intros. Please can we have an unboxing and review of cat.
Ollie Dixon sure it's entirely feasible.
the cat has strength and toughness 8 , 9 wounds , bs 6 ws1, movement depends on the time of day: miday 1-3 inches midnight 67- to infinity inches, 1 up invul save unless opponent has a laserpointer.
I like them. I'm loving all the new Primaris stuff at the moment.

Steve Holt!
these look super derpy in the GW photos, but they actually look ok when you see them from different angles! great vid fella!
kiblams this is usually the case with a lot of GW models that they photograph. Gotta see them in person and at different angles.
Thanks a lot man! I havent played 40k in 15years....i was looking everywhere for someone to explain the new sizes of miniatures in comparison. Nice!
I can confirm that the Terminator shoulder pads fit on the Aggressors (so chapter-specific pads, like the ones from the Black Templars chapter upgrade set will work). Use the ravenguard strategem
Swh 19 they do as far as I'm aware, they have a 5+(???)
Unfortunately Gravis armour is 3+ save, plus 1 toughness and no Invuln save. A big shame really
I played them yesterday with flamers beastly unit, although they need the repulsor tank ASAP.
The thing about aggressors is they don't suffer -1 to hit when shooting and advancing, so there's no reason not to advance. In practise this means that they'll be moving an average of 8 inches per turn. I think people are underestimating how quickly they can close the distance without a transport.
Christopher Smith in Addition you can get them really close First turn with the ravenguarg strategem
Thanks for the video- I really like the look of these models, and plan to pick some up today (it's my once-monthly trip to the hobby shop- so excited!). Maybe put them into a repulsor, with flamer gauntlet, at least have fun to trhow all d6s hits ! Their models look very good i love them!
I should be getting a squad of these soon, they seem like a good counter to my mates death guard army
I picked up a box today. I'm really glad that I stumbled upon your channel Sup3erSaiy3n.

Forgot thunderhawk... they can be transported in that too

Thanks for pointing that out.... I can't look past that now....
I also thought about the Thing with the drum cause it is Open your Enemy can See if u are out of ammo in Addition
How are Primaris marines larger than Terminators?
Hmm ... can't you drop-pod them in?
(Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I'm not really au fait with the new stuff/version)
Graeme Collin nah apparently they don't fit in drop pods
Graeme Collin Their only delivery method is the repulsor and Thunderhawk. They can fit in land raiders apparently. But terminators and centurions can.
Hopefully this may change in the wh40k General's equivalent book when they have sold many Repulsor tanks. Some ridiculous rules regarding transport with Primaris marines and also Gulliman in 40k

I think they will and must learn the error of the ways, it is not comfortable to wear egg on one's face

Does anyone know if you can buy individual pieces I dropped the pieces for the backpack where the ammobelts go into off the gauntlets 😭😭😭😭
'Belly armour' is not bad, to me. Bombur's is the best. ;)
they take the same number of lasgun shots to take down as a normal primaris marine!
Just curious on this. With the points of a centurion being roughly similar to an aggressor squad, would you take 3 centurions (1 squad) or 9 aggressors ( 3 squads)?
I love the look of both units..I’m just getting into 40k but trying to weigh up my purchases before I spend cold hard cash.
it will be nice if sergeant could get the flamers while the other 2 dudes keep their dakka
sikamika9 It would like the centurions.
I really wonder how these guys do in game!? greetings coolsskin!
I have the minis and love their aesthetic, but I'm struggling to find an application for them on the table. 2 wounds, 3+ save without an invuln, and very short range weapons has me thinking they'll be less "aggressor" and more "defender of artillery".
TheBaronVSP get them in a gravis tank or use the ravenguard strategem.
These are so ugly lol
I'm surprised so many people don't like the look of them. I think they look amazing. I wish they would make one in a pose with both of his fists up and clenched together as though he were actively firing both weapons at once. THAT would be awesome. Ayyy good timing
is it just me or did they just rip of Furious Maximus from the angry marines?
god.... I don't mind them as long as they aren't meant to be Primaris terminators. If they are then i hate them, i absolutely hate them. I will be genuinely upset if there are no proper, more classic style terminators that are basically upgraded truescale old termies with some flashy new upgrades.
Maxtuss11 exactly. What in earth were games workshop thinking replacing one of their most iconic and best selling units with this crap
Its a bit bloody rich that they're a non-unique squad thats as, or more heavily armed than 'Marneus Friggin Calgar'.
you need to do that to get the head in tha hood
Sup3rSaiy3n tutorial to survive in the Ghetto. XD
The sergeant looks like he's about to fall on his face
Looks like I know what my bodyguard is for my gravis captain
Let's attack aggressively.
Someone else who chose the guns over the flamers :)
I want to buy a dreadnought is it worth it?
Dániel Deák Which one exactly?
the models are nice enough. but GW priced me out of the game along time ago. the fact these guys are £10 each the compounds that issue. I think there pricing structure is GW's biggest flaw. 1. Use Raven Guard Chapter tactics
2. Place unit of 6 within '18 of enemy
3. fire an average of 114 shots at any enemy unit
4. ?
5. profit
That's what I was thinking. Use the Raven Guard tactics, set them up before the first turn. And don't move them during the movement phase so you can shoot 2x.
Nah I wouldn’t say the completely useless, the whole advance and shoot whilst not taking the +1 to hit penalty is pretty neat
They totally should have given us primaris termies instead of this ugly trash
cant drop admech models like u can with most sm models. mine have several broken antennae, and those r annoying to glue back in place. not to mention storage

RIP aggressor no.1
Zachary Rhodes He was number 1.
I always drop my models like that.
Don't like the non poseability of them, otherwise nice models
Shame they can't deep strike.
ShadowCat you can put them in a Thunderhawk, Stormbird or the upcoming Overlord.
That is pitiful stats, they should have 3 wounds and a 2+ save
Justinius fuck no, they aren't custodes ffs
No. They are not terminators
I died at 3:16😂😂😂
good. but, 3:12 ...1...1999?!
novastn Oh yes they have been making round bases longer than that too!
pretty sad, they seem to be trashing termies ;/
Sayin I love you dude but I really do hate everything about these models. Looks, rules, fluff, everything. Just give us properly sized and ruled (aka “primaris”) terminators ffs!
Edit: im going to have to convert my own if GW doesn’t hurry up and release them
that intro tho
are you kidding me gravis armour doesn't even give a 2+ armour save that's crap, they are supposed to be like the upgrade from terminator armour
Amanda Franks they were SUPPOSED to be but they were actually a failed attempt at trying to recreate it (terminator armour can no longer be built hence the rare usage of them)
Dogma 515 according to the lore terminator armour can be built still. Gravis armour isn't a failed attempt at terminator armour.
Subtleknife12367 when I asked about what the inspiration for gravis armour is at my local store several different people told me that the technology for creating terminator armour is no longer available, henceforth it cannot be built and they tried to form a new method which produced Gravis armour (no where near as good as terminator armour, hence a fail) which is why the armour is such a rare relic (and why there is no terminator armies besides the death wing who are a 100 man strong force as far as my knowledge of company's goes

Subtleknife12367 ok, didn't know that, but that was a white dwarf from 2005, a lot can change in 12 years
Aggressors seem like the Primaris variant of terminators. Not exactly the same amount of fire support as centurions, but still tough.
Commandant Krieg heresy
Primaris Centurions,pleeeease)
WTF!? the Primaris marine is taller to the head then the aggressor lol I seriously can't understand the hype for the primaris marines. They look like the wrong fucking scale every gamer I see them in. Lovely designs mind you, not knocking the armor mark at all, the upscale was done was too aggressively though.

I be honest, I hate these things. ever since I saw them in rumors, I hated them.
These are so ugly. We need primaris terminators.
Aesthetically, they're far too crowded IMO. Each of them looks like a hooded marneus calgar with those gun-toting powerfists.
Merchant Prince they look much worse than Calgar imo
