I am personally disappointed at being attacked by food and drinks being spiked by people and manufacturing workers who have clearly mental health issues and need counselling themselves!!!! How can someone judge and cause harm to an innocent victim like Emma Michelle and her mum just because they have an opinion without knowing the truth and then blame people! I think the police needs to be more understanding of the the real issues with keys and unwelcome actions of others!

Time for the bbc to start revealing the voting results (and how much they make from the voting). Every one of the pro's looked shocked and dev looked like he was biting is tongue off to not say something.

If it was me, I'd have spoken to Tess (as expected), and then leave the studio immediately after the last dance without a trace (if not, ASAP). No interviews, or anything of the sort (not even the compulsory It Takes Two appearance upon elimination).

out of curiosity i just checked, and they haven't posted the elimination from any other week until now. the one everyone's talking about. the one they know they'll get the views for. really just milking the outrage and backlash and sadness for all they can get. this is in bad taste, bbc. it's bad enough that this happened and essentially everyone knows it shouldn't have done, but to keep sharing it, especially when dianne was so upset and so many of the pros were too, that's just not on.

This is the first time I’ve been actually crying when someone left, it wasn’t fair, BRING THEM BACK BBC😭💔
Bringing them back would start a very poor precedent. No one would leave because couples could always say their fans couldn't vote (with all due respect people who couldn't get through via phone could have voted on line, surely?) The reaction, however, might well give BBC a much needed shock, and it will certainly let the judges know how most fans feel about them. I am willing to bet that there will be a different set of scores/comments next week. It is too late for Dev and Dianne but there are other couples who could easily fall into the same scenario. I hope lessons have been learned. However, I doubt it. The judging was so out of line with what was happening on the dance floor that I wondered if this outcome had been planned prior to the show. Stranger things have happened.
I wish they did a show in the middle of the season where all the eliminated couples get to dance again for one final chance of remaining on the show. It would keep everyone happy knowing that if their favorites go out early they have another chance. And it would show who actually deserves their place if they went out with one bad dance out of a few other good ones
I’m thinking that Greg James will be talking about this on his Breakfast show tomorrow! I’m raging! The fact that the lines were blocked and that nothing was done to solve it was so unfair! BBC seriously should review this! And the fact that they were playing music and the audience was clapping to it just shows how they didn’t care about it!

This weekend, we have just witnessed the most controversial elimination since Aston a few years ago.
The Judges were very inconsistent and unfair with their scoring. Therefore, they are largely responsible for this mess in the first place. They must change their ways of scoring couples next week or else...
Exactly! I mean they were giving Mike 9's for gods sake?! Sure he improved but he will never be as good as Dev. Dev had real potential, unlike Mike and David.

Anjali Mehra you can monetise a video and when you get to a certain number of views you get a payout. I believe it’s something like $2000 for 1 million views but don’t quote me on that

@@infinitemayniac2408 fortunately the BBC are not allowed to make a profit from anything they do due to licensing etc, hence you don't see ads etc on these videos (payouts per view only happen on channels with ads etc next to them once the channel owner is invited into youtube reward scheme and agrees to monetise their channel)

I mean when it comes to Emma vs Dev, I can understand why they saved Emma BASED OFF of the dance off.
However, Dev definetly shouldn't have been in the dance off. What shocks me is Dev is a very joyful person when he dances and Dianne has her fanbase from last year. So I do personally think there may have been something that happened, especially hearing (whether it was true) that the voting wasnt working for Dev. I mean not naming anybody, but theres some people in the competition who dont dance that great and lack personality when they do dance that were safe today, but its w/e now that they are gone. Also im not a diehard joe/dianne fan Im just stating my opinion.
I'm sorry but I cant agree with you when you say that Emma should have been saved. Granted: I'm NOT a ballroom/Latin dancer BUT I have been dancing both tap and Irish for the past 11 years and can say with certainty that Emma's routine was littered with timing issues both in the DO and on the live show whereas Dev (as far as I could tell) had no obvious mistakes. Furthermore, Emma's routine seemed to have quite a lack of jive content when compared to other jive's of the series so far and the content that was in the routine was not executed to a high enough level in my opinion to justify her staying when compared with Dev. That being said I also understand that this was not Dev's greatest dance but was still better than Emma's. No offence to Emma as she seems like a lovely person but she should have gone tonight. I agree though that Dev shouldn't have been in the dance off in the first place. Also I'm saying this through neutral eyes and not as a die hard Joe/Dianne fan. (Although i do like them both)
Dev improved on his dance from Saturday night to the dance off, the confidence was there and he seemed to be a lot more energetic. Emma, on the other hand, didn’t improve and even made a few small mistakes. Opinion is subjective but I just can’t believe that the vote was unanimously against dev

I should of clarified, because I agree Dev should have stayed. What I meant was Emma wasnt awful so it was easier for the judges to keep Emma and not get as much backlash compared to if they were to eliminate dev over someone like will. Also my perspective is just someone who watches stricty but isnt an actual dancer, so now I can understand more of the techinical stuff based off of what you guys said

My family voted 32 times on call and none of them went through? This also happened with loads of people .. this is a fix and they need to fix it ? Like dev and dianne would’ve been through . They were amazing and have such a big fan base .. probably one of the biggest
Remember, though, that it was the judging that put them in a position to be in the dance off. Had the "judges" voted fairly, they would have avoided the bottom two as would Emma. It was obvious from the get-go that something was up with the way the "judges" were scoring. None of it made sense. It was downright embarrassing. They all need to be replaced. Bring in Ian Waite who can honestly critique a routine without causing hurt and embarrassment to the dancer. Bring in someone with integrity for God's sake. These four do not know the meaning of the word.
