Over 30 years never changed his essence, ever had been involved with drugs, alcohol and affairs scandals, is married with the same woman since school time...is humble, simple, gentle, beautiful in-outside. I think it's remarkable how Dorthia and Jon have been together all this years. Dorthia is a beautiful lady. And they have beautiful children together. I'm sure when he Jon said it. That he got it right the first time. That was remarkable. Sure women are and did throw there self at him. That's show biss. I'm sure same for Dorthia as well. Jon will still be sexy when he's 80. I don't like how they titled this, "his wife" has a name, it's Dorothea, AND those 4 kids have the same father. I can't believe how Jon has totally shattered the mold of what a rock star is, I wish we had many more people like him who were willing to get their hands dirty-or in Jon's case, hands clean since he's a great dish washer, and there's video of him doing that at the soul kitchen. I feel so blessed to have started to grow in the 60's, then things took off in the 70's, and in the crazy 80's came so much epic rock music. I'm so happy that they are going to be inducted to the R&R HOF next monthand glad to have lived through it all.

Angela Giorgio nobody hears much when he works in the soul kitchen. Giving that check to opera on TV made sure the money wasn’t laundered. He explains that in the video, it doesn’t matter he brags, he still gave the money to help.

This is part of the great debate. Some say guys like him are few and far between, therefore we must TAKE people's money--by force, and let the government "do the right thing" whereas the other side, (think of the founders of this country) believe the average American IS good, and benevolent and given the chance to prosper--get rich, will in turn, be generous and give to others. Both sides have a point--some people with wealth will horde it--some like this guy, will share it. So which is the better APPROACH? In our system, we allow people to get rich, to horde, or to share, but many are working HARD today to change our system, to bring in a special "wealth tax", because the powers that be do NOT believe in the people and their goodness--they believe more in government that should control what we do with our own money--in fact, they don't really believe money we earn is OURS, at all. The debate goes on.

Angela Giorgio nobody hears much when he works in the soul kitchen. Giving that check to opera on TV made sure the money wasn’t laundered. He explains that in the video, it doesn’t matter he brags, he still gave the money to help.
Accepting the money on TV it's a form of legal proof that it was given in good faith and so won't be subject to untoward intents by launders. Also, it's promoting his non-profit kitchen which feeds homeless people
