Something I love about this fight is how the music will either loop, or play a different track until a certain point in the fight. For example, in phase 2, papyrus does a strong attack, and the music builds it up, and loops if you aren’t at that part yet. That’s so cool
this is probably the best fanfight I’ve ever seen characters are written extremely well, their personalities are on point, and the gameplay is just a perfect challenge
I like to imagine that Toby would be proud of this. Though I feel the writing was off at parts, the majesty of the spectacle still holds up. And these remixes are absolute BANGERS.

How to make your heart hurt: the videogame. Holy shit, and I thought the Sans fight made you feel bad. I actually love it when people depict Papyrus with a far more complex emotional maturity, even if it seems one-dimensional at times because of the fact he will essentially never snap and intentionally kill someone. Even if he's bone-headed enough to capture the human and leave the bars too big to stop them escaping, and to refuse to stop believing in them. The fandom is drowning in Sans angst in his response to the genocide route, but it's rare you see Papyrus involved. He's always dead or having it hidden from him by Sans, and it's a shame because his character gets to uniquely shine when really pushed to hard situations
Papyrus is too good to be alive, sans just want to protect his brother and so do papyrus want to protect sans in his own way. Thats why i love this two brother so much, there is so much dynamic going on with those two. But the fandom obssessed with sans way too much it ruin his character.
@John Cristoff Papyrus mentions that he had a special attack that would have blasted you in a dialogue plus the fact Undyne says he's very tough and just doesn't fight to kill. The KR effect is probably something that both has because of their similarities in powers but if the KR effect was proportional to his damage then one single bone would literally kill you since he does more than 1 damage and KR nullifies I-Frames.
@John Cristoff Canonically Paps is the third strongest monster we encounter, behind _Toriel and Asgore._ He just has no killing intent whatsoever. An aborted Genocide run also seems to imply he has Gaster Blasters as well.

Wow, this is such an incredible fan battle. All these new mechanics, the use of the menu, the summoning of characters, using old mechanics against special attacks. The dialogue is heart wrenching and true to character, Papyrus' struggle with killing, and that BRUTAL ending. Whew. All the easter eggs were great, the wheelchair thing was kinda weird though. So creative!

You forgot "fatal error" easter egg When you press h or g a fatal error message comes and game freezes. Then if you press enter fatal error messages will come to your screen. After they come a gaster head jumpscares you and your game crashes (you get a achivement)
I think that Sans also believed in the human in the main game. It's pretty clear that he had the tools to kill us instantly, but he didn't. He gave us a chance to actually fight him, which to me means that he still thought there was a good person somewhere in there. Also, Papyrus calls us shit in this and that killed me more than Sans did in the 3 hours I spent fighting him.
Actually the reason sans didn't kill Frisk/Chara at snowdin is because he made a promise with toriel to protect any human that comes across the ruins, so in snowdin he tries to make you change via threats to her.

Everyone is talking about how papyrus was crying the whole time and it was so sad, but no one is talking about how at the end of phase 4 he pleaded for his life, even on the brink of death; still believing in our main character. Now that, was sad.
All the endings hit hard emotionally none of these endings are a “happy” (also I have never felt so bad for a video game character like papyrus it hurts you know)
If you encounter a powerful enemy, get a wheelchair. It’s your best chance at winning. (On a pretty related note, where the hell did you get it from!?)
Papyrus is distracted ( =) ) is technically the best ending you can give him, as it's essentially a mercy kill. You tell him that shit doesn't matter anymore and that it's alright, then kill him so that he will not suffer any longer or greave for the friends he lost due to your actions. Not the outcome he expected, but the lesson he taught did get trough to you.
No H secret You press H for "hitboxes" and you get a small jumpscare by Ghaster along with a bunch of error messages. The game then proceeds to crash (can be used at any time even in menu)
This fan game is so much more sad on Papyrus than the actual game. Papyrus is still trying to act happy even though everybody except Chara/Frisk, even his own brother, is dead. Even if this is a video game and none of it exists, it still breaks my heart seeing Papyrus trying to be happy, knowing everybody around him is dead. It's like being the last person on earth and you're living a normal life, your only friend being the person who killed everybody. It's so freaking sad. If Papyrus was real and going through this, I'd give him a big hug because of the amount of people he lost, and he hides all that sadness behind a big smile just to cheer up the person who killed them all. Honestly, I think Papyrus is my favorite character in Undertale just from watching this video.

Everytime I see Papyrus in a wheelchair and the music slows down, I just start dying. Kills me everytime.

You forgot "fatal error" easter egg
When you press h or g a fatal error message comes and game freezes. Then if you press enter fatal error messages will come to your screen. After they come a gaster head jumpscares you and your game crashes (you get a achivement)

I think that Sans also believed in the human in the main game. It's pretty clear that he had the tools to kill us instantly, but he didn't. He gave us a chance to actually fight him, which to me means that he still thought there was a good person somewhere in there. Also, Papyrus calls us shit in this and that killed me more than Sans did in the 3 hours I spent fighting him.
Actually the reason sans didn't kill Frisk/Chara at snowdin is because he made a promise with toriel to protect any human that comes across the ruins, so in snowdin he tries to make you change via threats to her.

Its suppose to, like in the animation
Papyrus is distracted ( =) ) is technically the best ending you can give him, as it's essentially a mercy kill. You tell him that shit doesn't matter anymore and that it's alright, then kill him so that he will not suffer any longer or greave for the friends he lost due to your actions. Not the outcome he expected, but the lesson he taught did get trough to you.
No H secret
You press H for "hitboxes" and you get a small jumpscare by Ghaster along with a bunch of error messages. The game then proceeds to crash (can be used at any time even in menu)

This fan game is so much more sad on Papyrus than the actual game. Papyrus is still trying to act happy even though everybody except Chara/Frisk, even his own brother, is dead. Even if this is a video game and none of it exists, it still breaks my heart seeing Papyrus trying to be happy, knowing everybody around him is dead. It's like being the last person on earth and you're living a normal life, your only friend being the person who killed everybody. It's so freaking sad. If Papyrus was real and going through this, I'd give him a big hug because of the amount of people he lost, and he hides all that sadness behind a big smile just to cheer up the person who killed them all. Honestly, I think Papyrus is my favorite character in Undertale just from watching this video.
