I love your videos - I start my MA journey in June, currently, I am an STNA - I wanted to jump to the clinical side of things rather than long-term care. I honestly can't wait.
So cool getting to follow you around for a day in a MFM clinic!! I hate those darn purple wipe containers 😂 constantly taking the cover off to push them through the holes 🙄
That seemed like such a chill day I wish my job wasn't stressful, O can't do something that requires too much straining or heavy lifting and I hate a desk job were they push too much deadlines on you and you literally can't leave your desk, so I think something like this would be a good fit for me
@@cherishdavis4339 this reply is super late lol, it depends where you go, some MA’s start at $9 and some start at $12, I started at 12 and the dr I work for does yearly raises so in make a few more dollars now
I have been a CNA for 18 yrs and have made the decission to get my MA Certificate what are your thoughts on the difference between the associates of 2yrs and the certificate for 1yr. Is there a real diffence when it comes to getting employed? Thoughts people.
That’s so awesome!! For me, an associates degree wasn’t an option unless I wanted to travel for school, all the schools near me offered the 9 month technical diploma! Since MAs are in such high demand, I don’t think getting a job will be a problem!
I want to get my associates degree in medical assisting. I heard that medical assisting gives you more opportunities in diffrent clinics and places. What degree did you have to earn or certificate to be a medical assistant?
I am a PreMed and going to start my MA training in July. Do you think that becoming an MA will help me gain hands-on clinical experience for getting accepted to medical school? I loved your video.
I’m enjoying your TH-cam . I’m interested in becoming a x ray tech , but the scheduling of classes won’t allow me right now. I work full time , I was thinking be a MA for a little then go for x ray. Was clinicals hard and what was the hours like ? I work full time so I’m stressed because I can’t quit my job right now.
Hi there! I personally did my clinicals at the same office I work at now so I never had to have a formal interview! I’ve also never worked anywhere else so I don’t have anything to base of off of! As long as you like the woman’s reproductive system you’ll love it I’m sure!
your so beatuiful sweetheart! id love to hear back from you im a medical asstiant studenrt doing chapters on medical terminology and anatomy im doing cardiovascluar system :) hoping to pass my CMA test in november !
Been going thru TH-cam searching what medical assistants do on externship because i start my externship tomorrow im nervous but excited at the same time! Any tips? And im a male im just saying that because i know the majority that are medical assistants are women would it effect me getting a job just wondering?
Agustin Salazar good luck! Don’t be nervous! You’ll do great👍🏻 the first day is always the hardest, but you’ll get the hang of it fast I’m sure!! I personally feel like being a Male is an advantage when it comes to being an MA bc they are so rare! A lot of male patients would feel a lot more comfortable!
Lots of people start this field with no experience. I was in the same boat. They won't throw you under the bus for being new, it'll be just like extern except you'll be paid. Not a great pay per say, I was started at 9/hr.
WilliamsSquad I graduated last month as an MA, I thought the same thing. I just got my first MA job at an Urgent Care. You will gain experience once you do get your first job. Just don’t give up on looking because someone out there will give you a chance. Keep applying.
can you do more of these? patients or not, repetitive or not, I love them!
I’m in college doing online classes for medical assisting .. studying medical terminology right now & I’m obsessed 😍
Yay! That’s awesome!
@Ed Martell I'm wondering that to!!! I'm thinking about doing the online MedCert program...just hope its legit???🤔

I just found your channel last night and I’ve been watching nonstop. I’m seriously thinking about becoming a medical assistant . Any advice?
Aw thank you!! My best advice is to shadow a MA to see if you like it!! (Once the pandemic is over of course!)
Make sure you go to an accredited college, there are some sketchy programs out there. It's a great field! I've been a RMA since 2017.
sublime doll How is the salary?

Great video babe. Thanks for sharing. Quick question, why don’t you allow pts to take a picture of the ultrasounds?
