I remember when I was taking a college course on doing concrete finishing I remember they taught us to do it the old fashion way and we were doing it in a golf course so obviously the golf course made out because they didn't have to pay out because it was a school for finishing concrete so we had to form it all up in sections and pour it and finish it by hand instead of using that machine. I live in Boston Massachusetts but the school is in Albany Georgia and let me tell you I wish with the humidity in the weather down there that I had a machine like that but unfortunately we had to learn the old-fashioned way...

Been finishing for 16 years now and forming and finishing curb is the absolute worst. I didn’t go to college for it I learned from a family business and as you could probably expect it was hell!

Concrete reinforcement varies widely depending on the country and installer. If you watch this video at 2:22 th-cam.com/video/TNlVF06rmOs/w-d-xo.html You can see that there are two longitudinal lengths of rebar being fed into the front of the mold. That is a common way to reinforce curb and gutter.
