Thank you Rupert for sharing this. Trying to understand the nature of reality is what has driven me for decades now. Each such video and explanation from you helps me to make a little step of progress. Though I've come to realize that it's not just about building a concept or mental model of reality, it's also (and probably even more so) about actually experiencing this nature within myself. But coming from a scientific and physical background, there is still this urge to create a model in my mind, and make it fit as closely as possible with reality. So, while I understand the limitations of such models and explanations, they are very welcome!
Rupert's discussions on consciousness and awareness often seem to conflate the reflection of awareness with awareness itself. Simply recognizing 'I am aware' doesn't necessarily mean that this awareness is the ultimate reality. What happens to this awareness in deep sleep or under anesthesia? Does it disappear or remain? If it disappears, can we truly say it's the fundamental essence of our being? Rupert's teachings, although insightful, might be misleading people into mistaking the reflection of awareness for the ultimate truth. Would love to hear more nuanced discussions on this topic.
Even music is trying to either create an emotion or memory of a vast sky, or birds flying or a vast ocean, or of gentle reins and so on, which are all in the frame of space and time. Only the experience of deep sleep where there is neither space or time is the only window to the reality of you and every thing else! There is nothing else!
Reality only lives in the present moment. To broaden your reality, meditate. Everything else that’s happening in the world ( to your reality) doesn’t matter
If you are not experiencing reality, then you can never experience anything. Reality, is all there is. There is nothing remote from reality. I can only smile and say “bless your heart!”
Only the temporary form is limited. Form is not the reality. What takes form is unlimited. What takes form is reality. The wave is not reality. That which waves, is the reality of everything.
Love or Being is not a thing that mind can do. Mind can only Suppress or Sleep. One may pity, forget, relax, or immersed in music and SOMEHOW suddenly become being.
What is the nature of reality of the dreaming? Our dreaming reality is a result of an active projection of our mind. What is the nature of the reality of the waking? Our waking reality is a result of active perception of senses and mind. What is the nature of reality as such? Reality is a result of objectification the perception in memory and projection in imagination. That's why we call reality as a four dimensional space-time entity, because memory makes everything temporal and imagination makes everything movable and changeable.
Every time you worry or think of the issue turn inside to your feeling of the Divine or the Universe and say: Open the the doors where I am suppose to be and close them where I am not. then go about your day.

If you go beyond your mind, then you'll be out of your mind. Finding contentment isn't a struggle it's a blessing.

Rupert often addresses just these enquiries. His answers might nourish your own contemplations.

I don't understand. Totally lost in the question and answer.
Reality is within your consciousness.

Everything is real, even illusions. The question is, what is the nature of that reality?
I think she didnt get her answer properly!
All she got as answer was: a point outside of space-time!
