- This video is just a quick update to talk about what videos I’m planning to make next, as well as to answer some of the questions/comments I’ve been getting on my last two videos.
When I sat down to record this video I was still under 800 subscribers, and I kind of knew that wouldn’t be the case by the time I finished editing it. Man, you guys rock. I can’t thank you enough for the amazing feedback that I’ve been getting.
Too long; Didn’t watch: The next two videos I am planning to make are on Final Fantasy 8, and on Alignment/Moral Choice systems in video games, and how they relate back to tabletop RPGs. Both will be shorter videos, I assume around the same length as the SMT video if not shorter (Although I originally thought the FF14 was going to be like 20 minutes, so who knows). Hopefully they will be entertaining, or at the very least informative.
The irony of this video is that I wanted to make a quick update, came across a bunch of rendering problems that stopped me from uploading it a day ago, and then unlocked the ability to make community posts/polls this morning. Not sure what imaginary milestone I passed, but thanks TH-cam, I guess. Wish I knew I was working towards that hidden achievement. This will probably be the last video like this, I’ll stick to community posts in the future to let you know that I’m not dead.
Also, yeah. If you guys have any recommendations on video editing programs, microphone setups, I’m all ears, because I’ve just been stumbling like a dink trying to figure this out. I’ve been using Kdenlive for the editing, but it bums me out when I have to fight with it just to export my finished videos. I’ll see you in the comments.

I forgot to mention that I'd answer any questions you had in the comment, so feel free to ask me anything, I'll try my best to answer them unless the answer will get me into trouble. I thought about maybe answering some questions during the outro of newer videos, but I'm not sure about that idea yet. Honestly I'm just kind of bumbling and guessing at this TH-cam thing.

I love videos like these , deep dives into games I love, games I've never played, and games I've never heard of. Seeing someone else's experience in games and media always motivates me to branch out and try new things. Keep up the great work.
Hell yeah brother. Man, this makes me want to get to talking about some of the obscure games I play that really don't get enough attention.
Megami tensei content is like an untapped gold mine. Not a lot of people are willing to play old games so watching people play old games gets a lot of viewers (megaten fans especially)
I have a couple of interesting games in that same untapped/obscure vein that I want to dig into at some point.

I was hoping you had more Megaten content in mind, but hey! Take your time! And don't worry, I have also used the "Its like (BLANK) but with (BLANK)" phrase to recommend a series to someone else. So I get why you choose that title for the SMT video.
This video is surprisingly refreshing! I feel like I've stumbled into a cozy place-- The voice, the storytelling, the vague shots of an outdoor couch or Mic in a haphazard pillow fort? I'm here for it!

Hey, no idea if you read the comments on older videos, but regarding black magic audio software, Nvidia Broadcast does a really good job at cutting background noise out of your microphone without causing any loss in the pickup of your voice or any distortions in your voice.

As someone who mainlined FFXIV like a hard narcotic from when I started about four months ago, please do just take your time and maybe make another video on it like, much later on. Now that I got through the MSQ in what is probably an unhealthy pace, I have so much stuff to do but I also feel like it would have been more enjoyable if I did it all slowly as a normal human being.

Algorithm has blessed you, mate.
Just be warned, to not bother with it too much because if you try to chase the algo, you'll be burnt out fast. I'm telling you because I've seen a lot of creators facing the same thing.
I for one enjoy creators who cover games in an interesting manner, hence I subbed to you.
I am interested in why those videos in particular popped off, cause I honestly expected them to die in obscurity. I don't really have a good plan or a formula in mind yet, so I'm just going to keep making whatever pops into my mind. I feel like if I just make what I think will be successful, those videos would suck from my own lack of interest.
@@SwanCC Don't try to understand. Like seriously. Because TH-cam changes its recommendation algorithm seemingly every month.
Just make videos that you think should be talked about more, like SMT selling point of "Pokémon with demons"
