Mistral was a child soldier like Jack, and the song is about how their life was a hell because of the battlefield, and the two of them enjoyed all the killing, but unlike Jack, that past doesn't torment her (that's because she finally found what she was looking for, a place where she could be without remorse).

When i used to Go to the middle of the ocean, the sun was scorching and our boat made a Lot of creaking sounds, cuz It was a wood boat that fisherman from 30 years ago were used to use.
