As others have said, the Mig 31 is a interceptor. My major disagreement with this video is about the F15. With a combat record that it has and years of service it should have been at least at number 6. It's a better fighter than the F18...
I agree with your first point but the F18 is superior to the F15, If we are talking combat record then yes the F15 is better but the F18 is more maneuverable, it has newer technologies and is largely multirole for attack, dogfighting, Navy and more.

MiG-31 is a dedicated look-down/shoot-down capable interceptor, designed to protect Russia's vast northern expanses from the threat of submarine and/or bomber-launched cruise missiles coming in from the high arctic. It is top of its game in the world, in that regard, but NOT a "fighter" in the sense of being an aircraft specifically concerned with wresting air superiority from other fighters (in most scenarios, it would never realistically expect to encounter short-ranged 'fighters' over the vast Russian arctic). While an impressive aircraft in its time, the F-15C/D/E would not be a realistic contender with the 4.5-gen' and beyond: 4.5-gen' and above would likely render it completely blind with their advantage in embedded EW tech. Rafale and E2000 I am okay with except that I would have put Rafale over E2000. Both are multi-roles, with at least as much emphasis on air superiority as other roles, although the Rafale is the stealthier aircraft (the E2000 was not particularly designed for stealth at all whereas the Rafale was designed with the mantra, "as stealthy as possible without compromise to performance"). While the F/A-18C/D were true multi-roles in the sense of having adequate dog fighting capability, the F/A-18E/F sacrificed much of the legacy series' dog fighting performance in favor of greater capacity for air-to-surface ordnance (remember, they were designed to replace not just the F/A-18C/D but, in a single type, the A-6E). The F-35, likewise, is a strike aircraft 'capable' of air-to-air combat...similar, in turn, to the J-20. The only real "fighters" on this list, in terms of aircraft with a primary or, at least, "equal" (where multi-role) emphasis on air superiority, are the F-15C/D, E2000, Rafale, Su-35, Su-57, and F-22. To make up a list of ten, in terms of ten aircraft with primary or at least equal emphasis on air superiority, I'd expand to: MiG-29 "Fulcrum-C," F-16C/D, F-15C/D Su-27 "Flanker-B," E2000, Rafale, Su-35 "Super Flanker," Saab Gripen-E (bizarre omission - arguably top of the lot in EW capability), Su-57, F-22. That's if you were picking single aircraft for a single pilot. On a force-wide scale, taking budget into account? Su-57 may well be more practical than the F-22, just as the T-34 was more practical than the Panther.

the f-15 is definitely a competitor for 4.5 gen aircraft... the rafale, gripen, and typhoon all have giant vertical rudders that basically destroy their stealth. also, what makes you think that the su-27 is better than the f-15? The f-15 has a better t/w, better dogfighting capabilities, a better radar, better missiles, and better range. The su-27 has an AoA limiter of about 29 degrees, while the f-15 does not have an AoA limiter, and the su-27 and bleeds speed much quicker than the f-15. the top speed of the f-15 is mach 2.5, while the su-27 has a top speed of about, from what i could find, mach 2.35. the su-27 is also a much larger aircraft.

The rainy weather on the island turned out to be merciless to combat vehicles, and it soon became clear that in conditions of high humidity, the electronic systems of aircraft work unstable, and the cooling system of computing components in a humid atmosphere simply refuses to serve. It is not known whether this flaw has been fixed. But it is known that since then the F-22 has never been used in a humid climate.

F35 has the same problem. It cant fly in wet conditions as the stealth paint peels off. Which makes them uselss as carrier based planes and they cant fly through clouds or when its raining.
So far the only stealth planes that have actualy worked were the RAF lancasters of WWII.
Its not down to the shape its down to the paint. The black paint u see on all British military vehicles ground and air is stealth paint the Brits have been using since WWII.
It absorbs radar instead of reflecting it back making it invisable to radar. Its why RAF bombers during WWII had the underside painted black and camoflage on top. Night fighters had to find them from above as they couldnt see them from underneath.
its not just any black paint its a special paint only made for British forces.
The way u see the camo painted on brit tanks is to break up the outline and night vision can only see the green parts not the black parts making it harder to ID what it is.

Не корректно ставить в один ряд с истребителями МИГ31. Это перехватчик аналогов мире которому нет. Даже высотный костюм у него ближе к космическому скафандру. МИГ31 может уничтожать в ближнем космосе спутники. У него неограниченные возможности и потенциал. Для него можно создавать и создавать вооружение, которое может использовать эфективно только он. Это стратосферный перехватчик, который может обойти большинство систем ПВО на высоте более 20 км.

Individual and subjective this list might be, and is, there are some fundamental mistakes. The place of the SU35/57 and the missing of F-16 !
F 16 is an oldtimer. It will be chanceless against these. Nevertheless beautifully designed and very agile. The age of dogfighting is over nowadays. The Mig 29 was probably better than the F 16 but has also no chance against these fighters. They proved it in manoevers.
The f 16 is one of the best especially in bvr battles which would be crazy for any jet to try it
