    If you are looking to increase the performance on your Honda NAVI, this CVT kit is a absolute must! This would be my number 1 upgrade. The Reveno clutch set up is 2.5 lbs lighter than stock. This is literally unbelievable for a engine this small. Lighter rotating mass allows the engine to spin faster, resulting in much much better acceleration. Rolling Wrench worked exclusively with Reveno to make this kit happen. It’s now a reality.

    Looks like the rollers made a little difference in feel, but top speed is still similar. That clutch made almost no difference in speed times for the cost. Honda is pretty smart. Why not change the drive gear or get a bigger tire to increase top speed with the lighter rollers?

    • @RollingWrench
      @RollingWrench  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Clutch and rollers are for take off only not top speed although it does help a bit. Gears are in the works. Currently there is no gears on the market. You can add a 12 inch rim instead. That helps. Or add our cdi box to remove the rev limit.

    So your acceleration is up with upgrades but how much are you losing on your top speed?
    My max speed flat surface with no wind is about 51mph
    13 gram roller weights, 1400 rpm contra spring and RDR clutch bell, granted I do have intake, jets and exhaust. I also have heard 15 gram rollers and stock contra spring is the happy medium… nice video keep it up 👍

      I haven’t experimented to much with top speed yet. But I definitely didn’t loose any in the small testing I have done so far. I have had it to 53 with this set up, I wasn’t pushing it to hard. The engine still only has 135 miles on it. I will do more of that testing as time progresses.

    What fuel are you running? Sounds like you got a slight spark knock down low, but goes away after you get up to speed, maybe a octane Boost can help, I had luck with the race gas concentrate, you only need enough octane to prevent knock, any higher it can actually hurt power,
    I can get by with 90 octane non ethanol fuel, in my 50mm bore gy6, I have a gy6 150 ruckus , I'm not sure if it's a clone, someone has painted it, and put decals on it says ruckus, but has a gy6150 engine , I have a new engine, but it's a short case, I need long case, I'd swap , the half of the case, but someone has taken the gears out. And they are missing, along with the CVT, the engine may be good, they may just ate a gear or bearing in the gear box, in thinking about doing the spray on bed liner on the ruckus maybe, I also have another Chinese 150, I'm thinking about building a reverse trike out of it, and putting a roof on it, and wind shield, so I don't have to worry about the rain,
    I been thinking about figuring a way to swap one of the tiny Japanese superchargers on to about 271cc engine, keep the compression kinda lowish, 150 psi est. And run about 5-8psi boost, no more than 10 without cooling, maybe running a long case, with 10" rim would make room to mount it, it would be awesome to get close to 30hp , going from 8hp to 30hp is doing a bit, it may require more than 200cc, and 10psi to do it, but with a cam, heavily ported head, larger valves, not really larger ports, but we'll thought out porting, with flow testing, it may be something not really street able, getting 30-40 HP from a tiny engine, 180psi compression, and 15-20 psi boost, running 110 octane race fuel, haha, I'm not paying over $10 gal, for gas, just because, even if it made that kind of power, if I can't run it in 93octane, with a bit of race gas concentrate if needed, basically 98-100 octane, I'll dial it back a bit, detune it, I figure my little 50/81cc china scoot is making 5-6hp possibly close to 7 HP, the only thing I can think to get more power from it, would be boost, of cut the head or jug, to get higher compression, without spending a lot of money and getting crazy,
    As in welding up the case drilling and tapping so a 150cc jug and head will fit, going to a 57mm bore, it would probably require bushings pressed in the pistons, for the 13mm pin, maybe they can have a piece of mind, by using another c clip maybe machine it out larger, making more room to retain the bushing, this can be offset to raise or lower the piston height, to better fit the jug, on the 50cc case, using a 150 top end on a 50, I don't think I'd go to as large as 60 mm bore, seems there is a 58mm, 60-61mm bore kit, I'd definitely lighten the piston as much as possible, there is a lot of weight to be removed by just smoothing the back side of the piston, and feathering the skirt, I got my 50mm piston to weigh about the same as the 44mm piston, so far it works fine, I really need about 10hp, I'm going to build another 50, with a 52.4 bore, and large valves, and try the 22mm carb I have, I'm going for all the compression this time, 200psi, as long as the valves clear, I don't think the timing chain will be a issue, the 20/23 mm valves are a good bit larger than the stock 16/18valves! 5mm on the intake, 3mm= 1/8" it's not far from 1/4" larger, it makes a big difference in power, about 5-8mph on top end, it gets to 40-45mph much faster, actually before it peaked about 40 on flat land with the stock valves, now it's about 50, and a good bit more if it's the slightest down hill, it does need CVT tuning! Sorry to ramble!! Keep up the awesome,, 😜

      @RollingWrench  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use 91 octane. This isn’t a high compression motor. It’s the typical Honda engine. Over built under powered for fuel economy and reliability. The stud spacing on your qmb139 will never accept a qmj157 jug unfortunately:-( it would be best to just use the actual qmj157 in your bike by modifying the correct motor mounts

    That clutch chatter is normal when you go to one that's lightweight. It does this in cars too, but it's typically a lightened flywheel that causes the chatter. Nothing wrong with it, but those that don't know, will think your shit is broken.
