@@larswillsen Subjectively worst GIG within couple years. Not that it would be important, but I feel like highlighting that most of the crappiness was not about the legend himself. The show was not good either, they really did not connect with the audience, but the venue was really sub par. VIP tickets were a joke, basically you got a ”free drink” for it. The air was very hot, felt like lack of oxygen In the hall. Gig started seriously late for no apparent reason, which could (I don’t know) be naturally just a quirk by the band itself. Etc. What I really did not appreciate myself was that basically none of the songs were whole, just a clip of this and clip of that. Maybe others like it but certainly not my cup of tea. But yeah, it SOUNDED great.

Comical that they kept the crowd that far back from the stage in a small club. Needs a front man really bad.

I agree when it comes to the front man. I can also see that his playing was kinda sloppy. But the thing with the crowd being far back:
I think I've seen an interview recently where an engineer (can't remember the exact profession name) said that this makes sense, as the crowd usually gets a better sound experience like that.
If the crowd stands directly in front of the stage, the frist few rows can sometimes hear the speakers blasting some background music or whatever

@@SirLappis that makes more sense. Yeah, I've met Yngwie...he is a pompous ass, but I think down deep he's nice. He gave me a pick after he said he wouldn't sign a vinyl album he said was a bootleg. (I just think he doesn't remember giving them authority to press the live show). When I saw him last, he was trying to play more notes instead of just playing the songs we all know as they should be. The venue and the way they manage shows shouldn't be on him though.
