      He still has awesome pipes.
      Looking forward to his work on Wegard Golebiowskis album who also has John Macaluso on drums.
      Mark and John recorded two albums with Yngwie.
      Wish Mark and his family all the best.

    Man, the sound from the camera's spot is so awesome, wow. The immediate feeling I got by the first 2 songs: "Back when they used to try", since all the players and singer is so perfect here and it's bone dry and raw with perfect playing and chemistry that makes more modern stuff seem so weak. Yngwie and whatever band he came with were usually even better live

    Back in the day when yngwie had a great band around him, blisteringly vocal, superb keyboards and drums, guitar singing like an angel, what has he become.. a man with hundreds of Marshall’s behind him, his band squeezed into the corner of the stage and no passion no fire also yngwie just stands there Kiev
    Cking guitar picks into the audience whilst playing 100 miles an hour meaning less noodling and shredding with no great vocal how the mighty have fallen just yngwie and his ego taking up 95% of the stage

    The more you see him the more you realize he was and still is a man amongst boys as a guitar player. Hes gonna remain one of if not the best because of his skill, charisma, confidence, performance, writing/recording as a musician.

    • @221b-l3t
      @221b-l3t 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree. They say don't meet your heroes. Well I have. He took 20 minutes at his signing booth after the show to talk to me and my friend, two 16 year old starstruck drunk kids. Me just started playing the guitar some years earlier.
      As we walked up to the booth he recognised us as the maniacs standing on our chairs headbanging (most were sitting as is common in some Asian countries even for heavy metal shows. I saw Clapton sitting down haha).
      "Hey it's you guys". Super nice and charismatic. Yes he has strong opinions and a certain aura you get from some famous people but didn't seem arrogant at all. He even made a joke about having made a few mistakes during the show. I wish he still worked with other singers though.

    • @221b-l3t
      @221b-l3t 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      And people can yell all they want but his shredding is melodic, beautiful, full of feel, evocative, emotional and he follows the chord progression so incredibly well it does end up sounding similar because it's always perfect. Did you know he solders pickups into his guitars himself? Used to be his own tech. He has a tutorial on soldering haha. Of course using a priceless old Strat with an original 1958 Flying V featuring in the background.

    Boals, man. Tearing PAINT!!
    He should’ve been a constant in Rising Force. Out of all of Malmsteen’s singers, he might be the only one that could get on stage TODAY and perform a set, without tuning down for an ageing voice.

    I saw Yngwie in Rochester NY on 10/3/86 opening for Triumph. That was maybe the week or even the day Trilogy came out and Jeff Scott Soto was singing. Yngwie must have shit-canned this guy and re-hired Soto in a matter of weeks.
    Here, the singer (I think this is Boals?) says Trilogy “comes out Monday”. That can’t be right. It must’ve gotten pushed because I know it was released in October 86.
