I've been enjoying going through all your Japan videos in preparation for a trip with my husband next year. I'm curious, did you learn any Japanese before your trip? I'm trying to learn some basics from the Duolingo app, but I am nervous I won't know enough to really communicate well. Also, who did you book your private tour through?

I did about 6 months on Duolingo & I loved it because I was able to speak & ask basics like “good morning, “good evening”, “where is the bathroom”, “can I have water”, “please” & “thank you” & other words & phrases related to food lol. All of our private tours were booked through trip advisor. Hope you guys have fun! 💖
