Thanks for watching, Kimonoko❤ Okamoto-san also teaches a tea ceremony for children. This time he welcomed me to bring my daughter to the tea room, which made me very happy because I was not able to do a Tea ceremony lesson after giving birth ❤️ I had completely left the tea ceremony, but I realized again that I really love this space. I'd like to have a moment to calm myself down in my hectic daily life. If you're interested in more, check it out here! It’s lovely to seeing how Japanese tea ceremony goes and the meaning of it. Please filming more contents of Japanese culture and tradition practices. By the way you look amazing in kimono 👘. Love your videos and Sutan.
She's so patient with her daughter. You can tell at times that she's purposely doing opposite of what her mother asks🙈😂. But she's always still so loving and patient with her. Such a kind, gentle, beautiful soul.
Moe, knowing how scared you are of bugs, I almost screamed on your behalf when the dragon fly landed on your finger.😮 but you did great letting it rest there. I'm proud of you, not scaring Sutan, or making her scared of bugs. I am 65, but for most of my childhood and youth I was afraid of dragon flies because as a little girl around Sutan's age, my grandmother told me they were sewing needles that would sew up my mouth if I talked or cried too much. It was a horrible thing to do to a child who loved nature. Now the only insects I fear are the stinging kind because I am allergic to them. Just remembering running and screaming from, what turned out to be, beautiful creatures of many iridescent colors, saddens me....but brings me joy watching you. God bless you.
God bless you, ma'am! I hope you're doing fine these days during the pandemic... I love dragonflies too but they don't stay too long in our area love from MCGI 🙏💕
The dragonfly moment is magical! ✨ Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony has meaning & intention in every movement and every pause. Thank you for sharing this introduction! 💖🍵🙏
Watashi wa hontōni ocha ga sukide, sadō o yaritai to omotte imasuga, hiza no kega o shite ite, hiza no ue ni suwaru koto ga dekimasen. Dōsureba gishiki o okonau koto ga dekimasu ka? Soredemo nihon'nobunka o sonchō shimasu
He is very handsome! But how wonderful and such great knowledge he has to teach about a tea ceremony that’s lasted for many generations. Many countries make sure to keep their traditions going for as long as possible. I’m proud of my Mexican heritage and traditions and family traditions, from ceremonies to food. You look so pretty in your Apple Green Kimono and Sutan just wants to be close to her mama. Just adorable. And what timing the dragonfly landed on your finger! Thank you for sharing. 💖🌸🌸🌸
It's so funny when Sutan - star-of-the-channel Sutan - gets shy. Also, you were so brave when the dragonfly landed on your finger, Moe. Wishing you both and Moto too a pleasant autumn.
Sutan has really grown up so much. The last time I've seen her, she was just a toddler. I'm hoping that she will be able to pursue greater things in her life. I know she has the potential and capacity to do so.
Sutan watching her mother bravely enjoy the special dragon fly moment will probably be a memory she never forgets. The sheer joy, fear, and love on Moe's face is so clear! I also truly feel like I learned something important about hospitality and mindfulness. The rewarding feeling of practicing both is reason enough to continue to strive to be better! Thank you for sharing.
I enjoyed 2 tea ceremonies while visiting Japan. This was the most informative. Tell Sutan an Asian pear about her age was planted in my garden. I named it Sutan and will grow along with her.
Sutan was about 9 months old when I started watching you both. My son was a baby then. It s so incredible to see how we all evolved since then. Like you, since becoming pregnant and a mum, there are many things I still not been able to get back to. Things that I long to do again. I had a parental burn out lately and had to spend 10 days just by myself to rest. It was the first time I parted with my 2.5 year old son, I thought I was abandoning my child. But that was a big liberation for me, since then I try step by step to do what I love doing again. I am very impressed by how the teacher was very patient and gentle with Sutan :) Very beautiful experience to watch! Sending the family big hugs and lots of love.
Wow the tea ceremony lesson from Okamato-san was incredibly educational and inspiring. So much life lessons including sincerity, truth, hospitality, and respect. Thank you Moe for sharing your wonderful Japanese culture.
We experienced a shorter tea ceremony when we visited 3 years ago, it was the most beautiful experience. Although I was unable to sit comfortably our host was very accommodating. The tea itself tasted amazing, I have to admit I found our visit quite moving . I vow to practice to sit in the proper manner so that when we visit again I will be more comfortable, thank you moe for allowing us into your part of the world
These video blogs are my favorite because, we see how much you work to explain clearly so we can learn and experience it with you. Hopefully, i'll get the chance of seeing that live
You're such a patient mother. You were meant to be a mom. ❤️ I've watched for awhile now and you're just a huge breath of fresh air as a person and momma. Back when I had mine so little, I'd have been sorrowful and a little annoyed for not listening in those times but, you just smile and are kind.
Sutan was not on her best form today. She is going through a phase like my daughter did. But she is so beautiful and funny I adore her presence. Thank you for sharing your life with us
It's such a beautiful idea" the front and back of the heart" there seem to be so many specific things to do but it's all done with such kindness behind I never knew! What a joy to share with your daughter
Seeing how happy Moe-san is to show Sutan around Kyoto is so lovely.🥰 You can tell how happy they are to be bonding and making such precious memories together.🥺
Sutan did really well for her first tea ceremony! I remember watching the vlog from a few days ago, was really hoping to see the actual ceremony, too! I loved how patient you were, trying to get Sutan to wear the socks, and I especially liked how the teacher got up to show everyone is wearing them, but then backed away when he saw Sutan agreed. Sugoi-ne!
Thank you Moe!!, for letting us see a small part of Japanese culture. Even in the drinking of tea,the art of perfection and respect for surroundings and history.❤️
When Sutan grows up she will have a wonderful video reminder of How Great Her Mother Truly is. Many hours of Beautiful Family Fun and Adventures as well as Awesome Food and Home Crafts. Thank You for All The Hard Work.
Great Culture!!!!! I mean, I think this episode will be a fabulous lesson for westerner fans since they can feel the vibe of a totally different eastern culture. But I, as Chinese, am already got sooo used to cultures such like this. I would love to see more SUTAN!!!!!!!! my baby!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful Tea ceremony. I grew up with a good family friend from Japan she introduced us to all her traditions it was fantastic. Love that you keep all the awkward moments in.
Such a beautiful tradition. I’m happy young generations in Japan today still and willing to learn and maintain such. My aunty (my uncle’s wife) was from Kyoto, they married in Tokyo and have two girls before moving to Australia. Very informative and professional tea ceremony master here, beautiful mom and daughter! 🇯🇵
Just want to say thank you for your content. I am dating a Japanese woman in the US and your cooking and videos like this provide me the chance to learn the culture, while also helping me hear the language as I am taking classes. Your cooking gives us the chance to bring her home, here!
I like that you didn’t edit out when Sutan didn’t want to put her socks on and when the dragon fly landed on your finger, such cute moments. Also the tea ceremony was very interesting! I can’t believe some places are as old as 400 years old! Wow
Thank you, Moe, for taking us to Tea Ceremony with you! 🙏 I love that the dragonfly landed on your finger and stayed for so long. I will give that a try.
Thank you Moe! Another fantastic video to share. Maybe one of the best ever. So beautiful! Such rich culture. Very engrossing like the scents of the hospitable tea ceremony host. Such a challenging day with the heat and the young Sutan. I loved the dragonfly moment. I recently had a dragonfly moment in Dallas TX. Soon there will be otsukimi festival. Perhaps you can share that with us. Spectacular video!
This video was incredible. I've seen Japanese tea ceremonies on travel shows many times, but only now do I understand that it is about the careful consideration the host gives, the appreciation the guest gives, and the comfort of the tradition. It made me think of so many ways I could treat my guests when I'm hosting them. Thank you for asking the right questions, so we can really understand what is happening. Also, you made me laugh so hard when the dragonfly landed on your finger. You were so gracious about it - I probably would have ended up in the water. 😂
Moe! This was so fascinating! Thank you so so much for taking us with you and for teaching us 🥰🥺 I hope to see more videos like this alongside with your wonderful cooking videos as well! 💙 Thank you!!
Bless you! You are a such a good mama for taking the dragonfly and making it a good encounter for your sweet little girl despite you not liking hugs like that. Good job, Mama!
Wonderful! I especially liked the explanation of hospitality. The text added to the video was a very nice touch. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful ceremony.
So happy to see sutan getting to experience all sorts of things with moe. Additionally, this sort of japanese culture where they pay respect to all things makes me want to travel there and learn more about it. I hope i be there sooon... Love to moe and sutan

this is a very nice vlog and also Sutan's first time having a tea Ceremony I did also experience attending a Tea ceremony definitely it was wonderful seeing it..😊❤
Thank you for sharing this mindful experience. I enjoyed it, if I come to Japan one day I would try it. You look good in your very elegant and pleasing to look at Kimono.
Thank you for your amazing vlog today. It was a great way to introduce us to one of the Japanese cultures, the Tea Ceremony. The interview was very informative. I learned that the tea ceremony is about hospitality and very helpful with our mental health. I'm sure Sutan had a great time experiencing a wonderful culture at an early age. The place looks so calm and serene. Thank you again for your great vlog 💕.
I giggled at the dragonfly part. You put your finger out but then still we’re very surprised. This was an interesting interview. Thank you for sharing.
full attention ! (now I begin to understand the ceremony, that, thanks to it, a "good sharing time" is achieved). "mindfulness" is a great tool to improve the brain and to know oneself, perhaps one of the most important activities: knowing who one is.
This was so wonderfull to watch. What a handsome man hé is, and so much knowless. Youre little girl is sooooo cute! I loved this video. Greetings from 🇱🇺 The Netherlands
I love this channel so much! The patience shown with your daughter amazes me. I am also fascinated with how you can sit on your knees like that for as long as you did. I tried to but I couldn't sit that long before my knees started hurting
I had attended a Japanese tea ceremony in Toronto when the movie Memoirs of a Geisha came out and everything Japanese was in vogue ,it was neat but I didn’t eat my little cake right away ! I was so confused and I think the tea master thought I was a nut! 🙃 Sutan is growing as fast as a poppy- what a big girl 🌸 💗 I love how you embrace your culture
i am not a dad now ... but i love to see how you bring tradition to your girl ... the same i will do ... i love your way and i respect your tradition in all way and i am glad to see it because itso powerful and so inspiring ... arigato for that ....you have an amazing tradition

It was sultan controlling that dragonfly makes it magical.
your a great mom! I am sorry you got scared seeing the dragonfly on your finger, but Sutan appreciated it (:
Thank you for spelling up some words for us. It helps a lot in learning new words. Green kimono looks beautiful on you!
So cute, I hope you both enjoyed the lessons. :)

She's so patient with her daughter. You can tell at times that she's purposely doing opposite of what her mother asks🙈😂. But she's always still so loving and patient with her. Such a kind, gentle, beautiful soul.
moe’s time as a maiko is so evident here - every motion is so graceful, her bow is impeccable, she is smooth and beautiful and just glowing!! 💛
Agree. Instead of dismissing her, mom explains white socks is a ritual for clean mind & body. Reframe from a chore to a honorable duty

God bless you, ma'am! I hope you're doing fine these days during the pandemic... I love dragonflies too but they don't stay too long in our area

Moe: "If you stretch your finger out, the dragonfly will land on it"
Dragonfly: "Thanks 😃"
Moe: "😱"
That was hilarious 🤣
I have never seen anyone so afraid of a dragonfly before :D
"Not freaking out even when you want to" pretty much sums up a mother's love
It felt like watching a ghibli scene 😍 Everything was perfectly synced and Sutan's reaction was so heartwarming
Seeing how happy Moe-san is to show Sutan around Kyoto is so lovely.🥰 You can tell how happy they are to be bonding and making such precious memories together.🥺

Moe, I loved your explanation of how practicing the tea ceremony clears your mind. That was beautiful! 💗
Thank you Moe!!, for letting us see a small part of Japanese culture. Even in the drinking of tea,the art of perfection and respect for surroundings and history.❤️
Congratulations Sutan! And what a rich history of traditions that Japan has, one of which is this ceremony.

As i visited Japan some years ago, one of the places i felt in love with, was Kyoto! A beautiful place - so serene, peaceful, and clean. A very deep rooted historical city. Just loved being there! 💞💕
This was a lovely video Moe-san. We enjoy watching your regular cooking videos, but this type of content is great too. Showing the side of Japan that is harder to access for foreigners like tea ceremonies, life of maiko/geisha or just a video talking about kimonos, all of that is very interesting to me and I am sure many others.
Your teaching of the elegance and deeper meaning was beautiful and fun
Thank you very much dear Moe, a lovely experience🙏
Ah it is a great experience for Sutan learn more about Japan's culture is so encouraging.Thank You for your video🌷

The place looks so calm and serene. Thank you again for your great vlog 💕.
Thank you for asking if Okamoto-san is married 😍 If I lived in Kansai and not Kanto, I'd be booking tea ceremonies every week! 😂
😂Moe with the dragon fly on her finger ☝️🪰Sutan behaved like a polite little lady for the tea ceremony 🍵💕
Thank you for this lovely and insightful presentation of Tea Ceremony, very gracious!
Thank you for sharing more about the Japanese tea culture! It's interesting to learn more about it! ❤️
Omg I didn’t know you were a maiko! How cool! That explains your perfectly styled hair every video 😉
Moe, I hope you do more educational videos like this in the future. I really love Kyoto when I visited.
It’s really interesting learning all about the culture and meaning behind it
I giggled at the dragonfly part. You put your finger out but then still we’re very surprised. This was an interesting interview. Thank you for sharing.
Wah~ this was so pretty! Thank you for showing us this part of the Japanese culture ♥

In memory of my beloved dad, hoping to visit Japan..I will love to visit the tea ceremony experience. 🙏👍
I’ve only went to a tea ceremony once. But that one time was an amazing experience. I’ve always wanted to go again ever since~
17:47 I was so shock by this moment wow😍 how it landed and you didn't panic so much to scare Sutan, I salute you Moe-san🤗
I love this channel so much!
The patience shown with your daughter amazes me.
I am also fascinated with how you can sit on your knees like that for as long as you did.
I tried to but I couldn't sit that long before my knees started hurting
I loved how he explained it thanks for introducing us to this
wonderful, thank you
I had attended a Japanese tea ceremony in Toronto when the movie Memoirs of a Geisha came out and everything Japanese was in vogue ,it was neat but I didn’t eat my little cake right away !
