This is the most honest feedback. We need to stop Rohit Shetty and make this film tank, so he can innovate and try something different. He is doing bhakti and now trying to cash in.
Can we STOP portraying persons from a certain religion as villains in movies? There is already so much political unrest between that group and another, that such movies just adds to it. Especially when people on the good are of one religious identity and the one bad guy of another, literally adding to the division between communities.
Or , if INDIAN POLICE FORCE web series was made using actors other than those belonging to RSCU and SIDDHARTH MALHOTRA returns to this film as LAXMAN , and also helps SINGHAM in his first fight with Jackie Shroff, It would have made more sense ,
Singham again is so bad that i want rohit shetty to bring Vijay Salgaonkar in this universe where ajay devgn plays the double role breaking the multiverse and fool all the cops in the climax so they feel some shame and stop making these cop-universe movies.
Imagine if Singham again wasn't this but actually 'Singham 3' with grounded storytelling and same old school singham masala like 2011 film, with just Ajay Devgn and Arjun Kapoor. That would've been a much better choice for third installment of Singham. Justice for OG Singham. 😭💔

Singham Again had a great opportunity to have a female villain in Deepika. Looking at her initial posters, it did look like Deepika would have been the perfect crazy cop who would've gone overboard and turned out to be the villain who needed to be stopped. But they dropped the ball on that. But maybe it's just me.

Now I know why that Chulbul Pandey cameo was added. That was a garbage one really. Felt nice to see Salman Khan but that was a horrible scene and Taran Adarsh calling it a "surprise" just boils my blood as if he didnt know that the scene was shot last week.
Well this is messed up too as they can't use the dabbang theme as the rights with T series. Plus the makers messed up by giving chulbul a beard 🤦 plus it's a very poor cameo just a few seconds and looked like CGI of sallu

The Tamil Singham series was the death of the good actor that was Suriya. After Singham 3, and how the movie was perceived he hid a U turn and made better choices in movie ditching the whole mass masala over the top character.

Rohit Shetty has never scripted an Original Movie but inspired movies that are less than inspirational and rarely aspirational. Tiger Shroff scene is not a positive - it is a weak sibling to scenes lifted from Shang-Chi and Dr Strange and Star Wars scenes in the Jedi Temple Ranveer Singh has to date been directed poorly in Cirkus and Singham Again. The pitch in Simmba works as it is an adaptation of Temper which copy-paste helped Tiger and AK are extending their roles from BMCM Despite releasing alongside BB3 this is the Jaani Dushman of 2024
This cop universe had potential to be an entertaining series if they had stuck with the 3 cops and then gradually introduced more cops with future installments. Par naaaaiiii utna mehnat kon karega. Hamko to bas universe bana hai ab continuity aur logic gaya tel lene ham to jis bhi actor ne kabhi police ka role kiya sab ko hi daal denge universe mai.

I watched the film yesterday, and I found it to be almost anti-climatic. Ramayan's Ravaan is devious, a maha-gyaani, arrogant, and extremely skilled. Arjun Kapoor seemed to cover some of the bases of the Ravaan character. Arjun Kapoor's skill as a ruthless, objective leader was shown, yes, but the final battle didn't seem to match my expectations. The fact is that Ravaan had support from his brother Kumbakarn, and his sons Tara, Akshay, Ahiravana and Indrajit during the final Lanka battle, yet, nothing was shown parallel to those. The three "important: men under Arjun Kapoor could've been shown more parallel to Indrajit or Kumbakarn and could've been portrayed a bit better. Arjun Kapoor's acting was quite enjoyable though. The way he justified himself as Ravaan and defended the character was a good change a pace. The sheer randomness of the Russian guy owning the port while doing nothing to defend it from been blown up. Also, I agree with you about Tiger and Deepika's scenes sticking out of the movie like a sore thumb. The spoon-feeding was quite obvious. Too many cooks, too many backstories gave a pause to the main flow of the film. The film transitions in many places seemed very jerked suddenly an action sequence and suddenly a parallel to Ramayan and broke my flow from the film. The weirdest part was Simmba and Singham being shown like Hanumaanji and Ram Bhagvan because in the "Sooryavanshi", Simmba calls Singham a "purana chawal". I don't know about you but during the introduction of Simmba comparing him to Hanumaanji, all that came to mind was that scene. One silver lining shown was the mindset change of Shourya, SIngham and Avni's son towards Ramayaan. That was quite good to see.
And still the film made crores at the box office. People knew what they were gonna get, but they still went to see the movie. I'm not gonna it's one of the films where you have to leave your brain at home and just enjoy it. We did that

@@5001Wasif Just came out of the theatre. And it was interesting, like it’s not actually bad. I quite enjoyed it and so did the audience in the theatres. Obviously it doesn’t match to the OG, but as a standalone movie it’s pretty good. Loved Kartik and Tripti’s performance. I think the trailer was really badly cut and edited cause we already had that cringey preconception of the movie. Madhuri and Vidya were also quite good.

Yes the Hindi version is also pretty good because of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, all the legendary supporting actors, the writing, the screenplay. Everything is great. Singham Again had a great opportunity to have a female villain in Deepika.
Looking at her initial posters, it did look like Deepika would have been the perfect crazy cop who would've gone overboard and turned out to be the villain who needed to be stopped. But they dropped the ball on that.

Now I know why that Chulbul Pandey cameo was added. That was a garbage one really. Felt nice to see Salman Khan but that was a horrible scene and Taran Adarsh calling it a "surprise" just boils my blood as if he didnt know that the scene was shot last week.

Bollywood nowadays can't even produce a good Masala movie. The heavy dependent on southern creators is showing the lack of skill in this genre which once Bollywood/Hindi cinema mastered in 70-80s.
I think Fighter had its unique commercial element. Now that's my perspective.

The Tamil Singham series was the death of the good actor that was Suriya. After Singham 3, and how the movie was perceived he hid a U turn and made better choices in movie ditching the whole mass masala over the top character.

The actors were just skimming through the dialogues and it felt like half the dialogues were improvised. Also, Arjun Kapoor did what he does usually.
The introduction of Shakti Shetty and Satya was unnecessary like Veer Sooryavanshi in Simmba. These 3 could've established as leads just like Singham and Simmba, then there must be a crossover film featuring all the 5 leads.

This year has been such a disgrace to cinema. Movies like KILL and Jigra didn't reach their full potential at the box office and on the other hand we got chhapri B-grade schlock like Singham3 and BB3 which are on-track to perform well financially. Baffling.

Filmmakers are making parodies of their own films lately. First Rajkumar Hirani with Dunki, then S Shankar with Indian 2 and now Rohit Shetty with Singham again.
They think it same things will work in today's day and age too. YES! they will. But when you are thinking that in mind and writing a film making it like previous ventures, you will ended up making cheap copies of them.

Bro, there is no story, not a single song, no screentime or character arc for most actors, no continuity or logical explanation for exactly how and why things are taking place in the plot, actors are just walking with background score for 30 mins, no emotional connection between any characters.

I watched the film yesterday, and I found it to be almost anti-climatic.
Ramayan's Ravaan is devious, a maha-gyaani, arrogant, and extremely skilled. Arjun Kapoor seemed to cover some of the bases of the Ravaan character. Arjun Kapoor's skill as a ruthless, objective leader was shown, yes, but the final battle didn't seem to match my expectations.
The fact is that Ravaan had support from his brother Kumbakarn, and his sons Tara, Akshay, Ahiravana and Indrajit during the final Lanka battle, yet, nothing was shown parallel to those. The three "important: men under Arjun Kapoor could've been shown more parallel to Indrajit or Kumbakarn and could've been portrayed a bit better. Arjun Kapoor's acting was quite enjoyable though. The way he justified himself as Ravaan and defended the character was a good change a pace.
The sheer randomness of the Russian guy owning the port while doing nothing to defend it from been blown up.
Also, I agree with you about Tiger and Deepika's scenes sticking out of the movie like a sore thumb. The spoon-feeding was quite obvious. Too many cooks, too many backstories gave a pause to the main flow of the film.
The film transitions in many places seemed very jerked suddenly an action sequence and suddenly a parallel to Ramayan and broke my flow from the film. The weirdest part was Simmba and Singham being shown like Hanumaanji and Ram Bhagvan because in the "Sooryavanshi", Simmba calls Singham a "purana chawal". I don't know about you but during the introduction of Simmba comparing him to Hanumaanji, all that came to mind was that scene.
One silver lining shown was the mindset change of Shourya, SIngham and Avni's son towards Ramayaan. That was quite good to see.
Could've watched Amaran or Lucky Bhaskar with the time spent on this

@@5001Wasif Just came out of the theatre. And it was interesting, like it’s not actually bad. I quite enjoyed it and so did the audience in the theatres. Obviously it doesn’t match to the OG, but as a standalone movie it’s pretty good. Loved Kartik and Tripti’s performance. I think the trailer was really badly cut and edited cause we already had that cringey preconception of the movie. Madhuri and Vidya were also quite good.

Yes the Hindi version is also pretty good because of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, all the legendary supporting actors, the writing, the screenplay. Everything is great. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is not the best but it’s not as bad as the trailer perceives it to be.
