The reason why Big B is still so enthusiastic about his work and has the best work ethics in this age is because he went through such a huge financial crisis that he had to beg Yash Chopra for a movie which resulted in Mohabbatein and same year he decided to do a TV show KBC. And the love that he got from fans for KBC and his second innings in movies in diverse performance oriented character roles, made him so grateful that even after repaying all debts and becoming financial secure, he still wants to work for his fans and the love for his job. This attitude is missing in everyone else I guess.
And after that I remember he has said in an interview whenever something's doesn't work for you go back to your roots or basic he is following same and recent examples kalki 2898ad❤
@@Blue-qanza but we can learn many things from Amitabh even in bad times he searched for different options and reduced his ego and stardom started his career in telivision and then made a comeback
Big B was enthusiastic about his work from the 1st movie itself. He did many small jobs and did lot of hard work before bollywood. He gives 100 percent to every movie.
One of the biggest flex Hrithik has in his career is that regardless of the good or bad reviews or box office performance of his movies, his individual performance has always been appreciated and praised. I hope Hrithik realizes this and takes on more dramatic roles.
Salman is not lazy. He is hurt. His ribs are broken. And always an insecurity walks with him that a hitman will kill him. We cannot imagine how hectic it is.
@@sarfarazalihussain1355 Please don't just justify his lack of effort like that. I've seen Tiger 3 and he really impressed me because he was putting in effort. I almost teared up in some scenes (when he doubted zoya or when the other guy from his team died and he was acting his heart out). The reality is that other than the Tiger franchise, he doesn't care about any other movie he's done recently and he's just doing them to collect the paycheck and move on. Even in dancing, if he puts in the effort we can get amazing ones like Selfie le le, Dabbang and swag se swagat which are simple but has that charm about them. But mostly we get are naiyyo lagda and seetti maar which are just awful and embarassing.
Same thing happening with Akshay Kumar, he is working like someone who works 9 to 5 only to get that salary at the month end. Although he has publicly said in his interviews before that he wants to make huge amount of money but recently he is just doing it solely for the hefty paycheck and doesn't care about the end product. Therefore, we have films like bacchan pandey and BMCM.
Salman Khan's cameo in Pathaan was very effective and honestly the highlight of the movie. We were expecting the same hysteria knowing Chulbul Panday would show up in Singham 3. Here I blame Rohit Shetty for not utilising the opportunity and present an interesting cameo
Singham again was so bad that i want rohit shetty to now bring Vijay Salgaonkar in this universe, where ajay devgn plays the double role breaking the multiverse and fool all the cops in the climax so they feel some shame and stop making these cop-universe movies.
That Khakee plot twist would have worked in Singham Again I mean Ajay Devgn was the villain there and Akshay Kumar was the hero so something like Batman vs Superman Bajirao vs Sooryavanshi 🌚
Hrithik's case is different from the rest of the stars mentioned. He is willing to experiment with his choice of roles but he has been constantly let down by fans. while movies like War and Krrish are blockbusters, movies like Guzaarish, Vikram Vedha are flops and fighter does avg business.
Vikram Vedha failed because it was a remake and audience hates remakes from bollywood... But yeah... Guzaarish deserved so much... It was so ahead of it's time...
Salim Khan said this in KWK that Salman Khan can do much better movies if he utilizes his stardom very well and the fact that whenever he utilizes his stardom his movies become masterpiece like bajrangi bhaijaan, Sultan, tubelight or tere naam and that is where SRK understands this very well and utilize his stardom very well and deliver best movies like Fan, Swadesh, Chak De India, Devdas but now their image have become soo larger than life that they have to do movies where they have to play Aspirational heroes and provide escapism from their movies....

Amitabh Bachchan’s enduring success stems from his resilience during the lows of the '90s, when financial struggles and waning box office appeal humbled him and reignited his work ethic. His comeback with Kaun Banega Crorepati and later roles show his skill in adapting to audience expectations and embracing age-appropriate characters. In contrast, Govinda, though talented, has resisted changing with evolving cinema trends. His reluctance to transition to supporting roles keeps him somewhat stagnant, while Big B’s adaptability helps him remain relevant. Actors like Salman, Ajay, and Hrithik, who come from established film families, enjoy financial security and can lean on fanbases to stay relevant, often without pushing artistic boundaries. For self-made actors like Vikrant Massey, however, a lack of this safety net means each role demands their best, fostering a deep connection with audiences through skill and dedication. Additionally, branching into business is wise for actors facing an unpredictable industry. With age and changing tastes, acting roles can decline, leading even top stars to experience financial instability. By diversifying income streams, actors can ensure stability, allowing them to pursue roles out of passion rather than financial pressure
There is a different side to his story. He was bankrupt in the late 90s and he had no other choice than accepting every kind of role. I don't think he adapted himself voluntarily but it was rather a compulsion.
True..he urged for a role to yash chopra and even got mohabbatein...the thing is that right now he is second richest actor in India,he doesn't have to work day and night but he does it. Yess jammy. Shine & glory comes when you are continuously growing in your work & bringing meaning to you. All the luxury is just a byproduct which you enjoy, but if just start enjoying it ignoring your work, all glory goes away
*this is lowkey off the topic but i was re watching my name is khan and again and i realized what absolutely art that movie was. from every pov it was phenomenal. please bring back srk as the lead and karan johar as the director. they have made wonders!*
His filmography before 2000's were absolutely good and nostalgic. After this era uska duara padgaya. He started to focus & launch more on star kids with mediocre storlines. Exceptions are My name is Khan and RRKPK
You’ve highlighted such an important issue in Bollywood! I’d like to refer to the clip you shared from Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein interview, where he reacted strongly to a question about doing numerous movies each year. It seemed that the reporter was trying to suggest that while he stars in many films, the quality of work might be lacking, making it appear that he’s prioritizing quantity-and perhaps profit-over substance. Similarly, Salman Khan's recent movies haven’t been particularly impressive, with only a few exceptions. I feel that when actors lack enthusiasm or genuine investment, even a well-written plot can fall flat due to a lack of compelling performances.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I really dont like Ajay Devgan. He is a mid actor and very stubborn and lazy. He has done a lot of films that could have a whole matlab kuch bhi episode and I don't find him expressive at all. He has those nasheeli eyes that give the effect of acting, but if you look closely, he has the same monotone look everywhere. He barely has any chemistry with any actress. He's good in films like Maidan, but I can't stand him in action or romance films. It may just be me, idk.
Ajay Devgan has never been a good actor. He’s yet another product of nepotism that only got into films thanks to his father’s reputation in the film industry. He has a good voice but I have never seen a single film of his where he has done anything remotely different.
Brilliant video Jammy especially the Hrithik part being a fellow Hrithik fan it will also break me seeing him not do any challenging roles as I feel he is still under appreciated as an solid actor and can do so much more good cinema which will be appreciated so much
I am a HR fan till his debut. I completely agree with you that Hrithik's choice of film was great till war... Post war's mammoth success and in the post pandemic era he is in a bit shaky and reserved state about choosing a project. I hope he will bring art and commerce to the same table. As an audience we also failed. When he did films like Mission kashmir, Lakshya, Guzarish,.... didn't do well at the box office. But none of his appearances didn't feel lethargic even in a ad film. ( Though the elaichi ad's are disheartening 😭) HR ❤️
Fantastic video! The example of Salman Khan really hits the mark. Lately, it feels like he’s barely invested in his projects-his recent movies and even Bigg Boss episodes seem to lack that spark. It’s been this way for quite some time, yet I still don’t get why people continue to idolize these stars.
They Idolize this lazy 🦥 sloth heroes because they have umph factor still left in them matlab that don type personality like you can't message with me wala parsona and I can get everything n anything well the example of black buck case abh sam jao ismein , also Salman has that typical aura of Charm Boy even though 60 saal ka uncle hai that's the reason people still fall for these people even though itne bade bade flaws hai yet they ignore because somehow these flaws get covered up by these stars by helping people of every class and crass situation ex Rakhi Sawant and crass mein launching sooraj pancholi ek shady guy from a shady fam and another launch pad given to some other shady hero heroine.

The public is fickle and does not really care about art. They have proven this again and again with their opinions and choices. So IMO, actors have no obligation to validate them with their career choices.
I recently watched Super 30 and I was mad about the fact that why filmmakers don’t consider Hrithik to do more “character” roles. He can shape shift to any character and deliver on point.
The biggest example of this is RANBIR KAPOOR. Bro has literally zero tension about getting food on his table, he has immense generational wealth and fame and massive connections, so the last thing he has to worry about is ‘how is he gonna survive if his film(s) flop’ and then I hear people saying oh Ranbir is such a risk taker, yeah he is, cause HE CAN bro. It’s nothing on saying that he’s not a good actor or anything, he definitely has been working upon himself/his craft over time but he could cause he had that massive backing. Now I know a lot of people will come and say ‘there are other star kids with kind of same privileges as well, why didn’t they become good actors? response’ and hence that’s where Ranbir should be applauded. That’s it. I agree. But again, he can risk with every project and film of his cause he doesn’t need to worry about money AT ALL. Hope some of you atleast get the point.
which is why i still say - mamooty , mohan lal , Fafa , AA, Suriya , Rajani, SRK have such great fan following , they still owe this love to their fans and are always seen trying to do better in each venture ...

You never dismiss stars but want them to show the shine they posses. You rarely give in to hate. Just wanted to tell you you are the only reviewer I follow and admire. Keep growing!
Salman 2009 - 2015 was the Peak of Stardom and Box Office !! Now he just does movies for family n friends as a hobby, no passion left in the man. He shud just retire….
Salman used to do movies just for the sake of family and friends like movie for friends, brother, known uncle and even his secretary or manager too... Kyunki comes to mind. And then on a public platform he declared no more movies for anyone as after bad scripts only his career is taking a nose dive while the directors move to newer or Another actor. Hence he made 1st Wanted, 2nd Veer and so on. Idk if he making movies with his friends again, but he made movies for+with his family members.
I feel your pain. It is not just about the money we spend. It is the anticipation to see something new, to be transformed into a new landscape, and maybe feel appreciated for spending our time watching what you have created. When all those emotions are not met, it is a big failure on the entertainer part.
So true jammy !! The amount of movies with over the top actions, larger than life characters are just going out of hand now .....and seeing our beloved stars limited to such films only makes it even bad to admit . It's high time they should have a diverse filmography not just for themselves but also for we as fans and audience to celebrate for years ! ❤️
In this pursuit of mass cinema, Hindi cinema has slowly lost its identity and just iterations of the same action films with little changes will be so boring to see year after year

This is such a valid concern, I’ve been a Hrithik fan all my life and every time he’s on screen, it’s such a treat to see him perform. He’s one of the few stars who has never taken his success for granted. And apart from a few exceptions, he has always shown what a gem of an actor he is. I hope he keeps giving us more performances like these in both commercial movies like Krish or dhoom and also some phenomenal stories like super 30 or guzarish, where we get to see his range and really enjoy what a great actor he is. I also agree that Salman absolutely kills it when he cares. Would love to see more of those from him.
That man is literally closing in on 60. Almost retirement age. My mother LOVED her job, but by the time she closed in on her retirement, she was DONE. She was tired. She was OLDER than when she enthusiastically left for work every morning. As for Amitabh doing fine- At Salman's age, Amitabh Bachhan was playing SRK's father's role- someone who wasn't half naked all the time or did stunts or had to have flawless skin. Mr. Bachhan played his age, he still does. Piku is a GREAT example. These stars aren't. They are EXHAUSTED pretending to be younger. Faking energy. I don't blame them.
100% I think salman khan needs to stop with action genre films period. His body is no shape to be in these movies. Rather do roles that suit his age, and films with interesting characters and plots. As for srk for his age he is pretty agile and can still be part of action flicks, but soon needs to make the transition into playing other roles other than the cheeky hero.
I think the problem lies heavily with the audiences. We are happy to watch mind-numbing movies making them blockbusters, but no takers for genuinely sincere efforts. Audiences don't demand hard hitting and sincere movies from the Bollywood "heroes" and it becomes worse as high we go up the star tier, and it is not only with Bollywood, Telugu and Tamil cinema is the same. For no rhyme or reason we pick up the nepotism debate not understanding that filmmaking is not just about the actor but also the producers who do not want to invest on actors without pedigree because that's where eyeballs are.
I remember being a Salman Khan fan once upon a time, the last movie i watched in theatre was Bajrangi Bhaijaan .. none of the post films entertained me .... i think he should take things seriously, coz ppl love him ... its high time he surprises his audience ...
Entitlement Entitlement Entitlement 😂😂😂 Bad behaviour is praised, discipline is thought be boring and then you are the Bhai 😂😂😂 With all the “love” and “adoration” they may never change 😎
The money club pressures, from 100cr to 500cr to 1000 cr and so on, often comes in between beautiful art and actors like SRK, Hrithik, Ranbir, Amir to name a few. We as fans and from media are also responsible when we overglorify their huge grossers but don't provide as much attention if they do a good movie but not a huge grosser; for example like Fighter...so many people after watching it on Netflix realized that it is actually a good movie (with ofcourse some flaws) with not just masala but also depth in it .. But except for few media houses, most places are labelling it as a failure and just going by numbers
The era of 2000's and before was the best with film like taare zameen par, 3 idiots, hera pheri, etc. Nowadays bollywood is just money making machine with mainlu focusing on sequels or masala movies with no story.
Being a big Salman Khan fan, growing up watching his films in theatres - it feel so bad when your favourite star doesn't even put effort in movies. That's the least you can do, movie may work or not but he is not hiving effort from his side only. Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan are examples of him killing it with roles but recent movies just felt an megastar signing a film, coming to sets and standing doing nothing just selling his face to market the film. I have fear for Sikander. 💔

What should be an actor's priority? To ACT; I mean the first three letters of the profession are ACT, and so if those who don't care about it shouldn't be called actors
This is pure gold ❤ Observation about Hritik Roshan and Jackie Shroff is so on point…. I'm from tamilnadu and One actor whom I was a big fan was Ajith, who has such a huge fan base here. But lately he's become more like Salman. The guy has lost his interest in acting and slowly moving towards his initial passion of racing.. There is nothing bad in doing what he likes, but he acts in half baked movies contributing nothing other than just walking around and acting in a really uncared way. He doesnt even dye his hair, and still people love him for that.. He just doesn't realise how much his fans love to see him in a good movie with good scope to showcase his acting. I always feel he's blessed with such a luck.. I feel like either he should take a sabbatical from acting and focus on what he likes i.e. racing and stuff. He's the Salman khan of tamil industry..
It's not about bouncing back or coming back to form, it's about the lack of interest or commitment towards acting or not caring about the fans or their love.. look at Vijay's movie GOAT, he just ticks every possible boxes that his fans would like and does everything to justify his salary and his star position, that is quite the opposite for Ajith, one thing he also gets a big salary but doesnt care to do anything for the movie other than act uninterested... Anyways like you said good bad ugly seems promising, let's see .
2:33 I think all the actors must start their own production companies and must produce movies other than their own just like what Aamir Khan did with lapata ladies the money that they receive as enumeration should be invested back into the industry They must be financially secure and not be just dependent on acting the main problem with today's Bollywood is that the actors are investing in outside the industry rather than into the industry itself this is the main problem

@@rohankhanna1512I don’t think the success of the movie is the criteria here. It’s how much effort the actor is putting in. In that sense, SRK still does put in a lot of effort to maintain his stardom
As an artist, there are two things I would like to bring to light here : 1. Some artists are not well under pressure. Specially if there's a sword hanging on your head and your family's being threatened its not very easy to be enthusiastic. 2. An artist without a muse is basically tasteless. Salman has not had a good muse be it Aishwarya or Katrina who inspired him to go to set and enjoy his time there. I'm not discounting his laziness here but from his point of view; hey I get it. As for Bobby I think he has so much more value for what he has now which is what it gives him a lot of drive. Hrithik in Guzarish was my all time favourite role of his. Given that he is trying to focus more on his personal life, I believe I'm ok as long as he's still on and off the screen every once in a while.
Just a thought I had and a personal opinion: The only star I see who is investing in small budget films with great stories and giving them a boost is Aamir khan and yet a lot of people still call srk the saviour of bollywood just bcs his movies do well at box office!! Nothing against him srk is a very foresighted guy too how can we forget movie ra one and his investment on VFX when it wasn't even thing in India. But then again at this time imagine if he funds movies with great stories and how much boost it would give to bollywood and also yeah don't know why he does vimal ads.
This phenomena is... Humne bahut paisa kama liya hai, ab woh mehnat karne k zarurat nahi hai jo pehle karni padhti thi. Basically they are the brand and they know how to sell the name and face. Can't blame them, everyone is here to earn. It's the audience's blind craze for them.
This is the reason why I like Saif ali khan and SRK , both always give their best , you can see both of them show versatility with each new movie and be always eager to do more , SRK since his debut doing movies like Baazigar , Anjaam , Darr , Paheli , Raees , fan , my name is khan , Chak de India and many more , and Saif with movies like Ek hasina thi , Parineeta , Omkara , being cyrus , Kurbaan , Eklavya , Aarakshan , agent vinod , go goa gone , happy ending , rangoon , kaalakaandi , bazaar and one of my most favorite movies : Laal Kaptaan.... Both Saif and SRK care for their movies , the interviews they feature in , the interactions they have with audience , and they both are like with each new movie trying to prove themselves as if they are new comers
The problem lies with audience as well. When an good hard worked movie like Jigra fails following the success of mindless movies of this Diwali, stars who try to turn themselves into actors start to care less!
Jigra was definitely written very great but the execution could've been better. But still it's a movie that is better than many others released in recent times
You know the Bollywood cartel when bhool bulaya 3,singham again takes all screens for weeks in dehradun over amaran, lucky Bhaskar even in multiplexes with 0 bookings for 80 percent of shows

Nearly 50 members from my college are ready to go to any south movie screening regularly, and find the shows to be better occupied than that of a Bollywood movie.
One of the points u brought up reminded me of an interview with R.Madhavan in which he talks abt this phase where he felt that his movies were not working and were not inspiring him anymore, and he actually put himself into a situation where if the film didn't work, he would be broke. Or something like that. But he really waited until finding something that was new and interesting for him, and he ended up doing irudhi suttru. Which was kind of his comeback in tamil cinema. So yes, I do think when u hv abs nothing to fear in terms of financial repercussions, u can get complacent and not put in ur best artistic effort. It also matters why they got into movies in the first place - some do it bcos they wanted to be rich and famous, so once they have achieved that there's nothing more in it. Those who love the art itself are the ones who will, ideally, never stop caring and trying.
As a former die hard mahesh babu fan who hasn't seen his last 3 films in theatre, the part where you spoke about HR really hit hard. He was also someone who really experimented during his prime and gave genuinely Good performances and was considered the best Actor among A-listers along with NTR Jr. But the failure of those films has now led him to being stuck in message-verse giving below average performances and it's painful to witness. Im really hoping the SSRMB project turns out to be amazing and can bring it some great acting moments from him, but that's going to be another 2-3 years😢
Totally agree with what you said. Stars take their audience for granted. We aren't fools . Their lack of dedication and hard work may lead to their downfall. H8gh time they realise it.
Ajay devgan is a better known for his acting and comedy timing and not for his dancing skills which he himself mentioned many times he was also the main reason why the movie was a 150 cr hit and he did this movie to help inder kumar after masti 3 floped
So well presented, dude! Exactly, we want to be surprised. The reasons being. We were served gold back (2000's era kid here) Now we only expect them to show some creativity instead of betting on the nostalgia.
Very well said Jammy. You literally spoke everything, each time hitting Bullseye. It's sad to see this come true, where we are craving for good cinema especially from Bollywood and see our stars like this.
Man you need to watch jackie shroff in mast mein rehne kaa. The movie and the performances both were absolutely amazing. I am surprised nobody talked about that film. 🤔
So true. Remember when stars being interviewed in the 80s & 90s would say "This role is very different"...but actually it was the same role they played in their last 50 movies... But we loved them anyway because they always gave an inspiring and dedicated performance every time.
About Akshay-flop-Kumar. He doesn't even like India! I'm from Ontario, and this one time, Akshay came to Toronto and a few of my friends went there, I didn't. They told me, Akshay said, he is proud to be home, and a proud Canadian, and the crowd cheered. Also insinuates that he is in India due to his job, and job only! That's the day I totally despise Akshay. He could have said he is a proud Indian.smh.
Salman has surrounded himself with yes men and very few gets him come out of his comfort zone. He will frustrate his fans till his acting career lasts.
Wow!!!! I consume lots of content but never feel the necessity to subscribe. Today I subscribed to your channel out of respect. You showed the guts to critique the untouchable few. More power to you man.
Absolutely right. This was with SRK too when he thought he could do just any bullshit movie and people will go to the theatre but he realised it sooner than the others. In my opinion, Hrithik is just lazy wasting his prime years in not doing enough work. Salman is just not interested in acting anymore or anything. Mr. B at 80+ pulling an Ashwathama or hosting KBC is the best example of intent of being an actor. When you start with the intent to just act, then age, lethargy or family issues would always be on the back seat.
as long as these STARS don't see economic set backs, they won't grow.... Amitabh sir is the greatest example of this as once "1 Man Industry" became bankrupt and did some of the lowest class of films possible. Then he realised that there's no point in trying to act like a hero but search for good characters which will steal the screen from the hero and slowly give him the respect he deserves. Bachchan sir did not give up is why he's so special
But now every actor is extremely rich like they have cars buildings brand's start ups investments they are making crores of money even small hero's are making investments 😢 we lack risk taking producers wo can do leap of faith like maddock they have experimented in horror comedy genre which has 50:50 chances but it worked and we all are talking about stree Universe but just imagine what if stree fails
I have been a big Salman Khan fan since i first watched him in Maine Pyaar Kiya when i was still a kid. But he has disappointed me big time in the last decade or so. It seems like he has taken fans like me for granted. I live in US and used to drive for an hour or more to watch his movie FDFS in Theater since no Hindi cinema movie runs near where i live. However, i have stopped doing that since it feels like all he cares about is producing and acting in movies either produced or directed by his untalented family members. He goes all out to promote them. I wish he had put in same amount of effort for his career. My heart just breaks for him.
I fear that for Hrithik as well.Just looking dreamy and being part of mediocre story might become his thing in the future. As he said in one of his interviews with Anupama Chopra after the failure of Vikram Vedha,he believes that the audiece wants him to look a certain way and only do certain roles that are aesthetically more pleasing. If he really goes on to do that,it will be a terrible injustice to the talent he has 😢
I agree with you. And she kind of bullied Kriti by giving a mediocre performance as a Haryanvi Cop. Kajol did not do justice to it at all. Wld hv preferred a Radhika Apte or Sonakshi Sinha in that role.
Other actors like kriti and shaheer overshadowed her character. It seems like she was in k3g mode and she didn't work on her accent. Even shaheer's haryanvi accent was better than her. I didn't like her acting in this film.
Also one thing jammy. Actors who are 50+ i beleive should not do romance with actresses who are 30 years olds. Like in old times anil kapoor and Amitabh bachan and actresses started taking roles of father and mother as they have aged but Salman Khan romancing with actresses who are literally like age of his daughter (Imaginary daughter) shouldn't do these
Bro i think Ajay Devgn criticism was not right. He himself joke about his not dancing in movies, he even cracked a joke regarding the same from naatu naatu in RRR during an episode of the kapil sharma show. I feel the not putting effort thing in total dhamaal song was a funny scene for a brainless comedy movie, something similar to him doing the singham lion step in golmaal again title track video. He is aware of what he is doing. 🤷🏻
I have to say, I think in India, overall, the amount of big stars half-assing is considerably smaller than in Hollywood - Salman Khan is Nicholas Cage compared to Harrison Ford nowadays, for example. But yeah, it blows. That's why I tend to have such appreciation for some southern "heroes" like NBK and Ravi Teja. No matter if you dislike their movie personas or the kind of projects they make, you can always count on them to deliver. Great video, once again, pal.
I’m sure some journalist wrote a piece on Salman 25 years ago about how casual he is. Yet the guy is still here. There is a reason why they are stars and we are the audience. They know their business 100x better than us. As Seinfeld said, “Don’t give what the audience want. There’s a reason why they are not in the entertainment business”.
Thank you so much for hightlighting this issue. I have been thinking this for years and was not sure if anybody else would agree with me !! Thanks for the honest opinion.
7:54 The thing is Ajay knows how bad he looks when he tries to dance so he avoids it as much as he can. IMO, he is only trying to not make the scene worse.
Really thankful for making this video and pointing out the real issue of Indian Cinema. I have consciously stopped watching any of the Hindi films unless it is made by Aamir Khan, Anuraag Kashyap or Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Man! I was fortunate enough to watch Ready, Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in theatre. I realised for the first time, what Cinema truly means. Wish to watch such movies again in theatres❤
I think he really tries and puts in the effort for the Tiger franchise (since even his Pathaan cameo was kind of okay and dare I say.... fun). So I'm hoping that in the next tiger movie we might see the effort that he's putting in. Hopefully.
Blaming Salman ? Just for a short cameo ? Seriously ? That's strange. Singham isn't even Salman movie. So what are you blaming Salman for ? Many actors do cameos in movies, and sometimes they're impactful, sometimes not. Why are you targeting Salman with negativity and blame ? Don't cry foul.
@@imawais01 It's not about blaming Salman khan about the short cameo, it's about much forced and cash-grabby it is. It's pretty obvious that Salman put in 0 effort for that cameo (people are even wondering if he even put the uniform on of if it was edited in). But during marketing, his cameo was supposed to be a huge thing and that created hype around the movie (since that was the only thing that was not spoiled in the 5min trailer). So with all that excitement over his appearance, we see him for 10 seconds on the screen, barely trying, barely making an impact in the movie? That's why people are mad about it. That's the difference between Salman's cameo in Pathaan (which people loved) and Salman's cameo in this movie (which people hate, for reasons I mentioned above).
@pdas4182 Beta ese may Salman ki nhe Director ki galti haim or director ek interview may khud kaha hai k bs hum nay tease krna tha. Ke salman b ese cop universe ka hisa hai. Tere ese gayan ki zaroort nhe thi. Jitna tu nay gayan diya hai. Har cheez pay salman pay kat bill phara kro.
@@imawais01 It's not just the problem of the directors. The point is also there that it seems Salman put in 0 effort for this cameo and he just treated it as a cashgrab oppurtunity. Are you telling me that a star like Salman couldn't have said "I need to do an impactful cameo in the movie, not just to show face my face." The problem is that actors like Salman Khan seem to take his fanbase for granted to just do movies without putting in any sort of effort. Don't get me wrong, I love Salman Khan when he puts in the effort (recently, Tiger 3), but when he just sleepwalks through all his movies, I won't defend him. No one's saying that the blame is only on Salman Khan, but you also need to acknowledge that the blame is not only with the director. Both Salman and the director are equally to blame in this problem.
Very honestly and I will keep saying this forever- Indian movies never worked on the plot or story - it was always how famous the lead actors are . And fortunately music was our strongpoint till the 90s hence the films were atleast tolerable . Now even that sucks.
Oh jammy pants you might have heard about Tamil actor Ajith Kumar. He is behaving exactly like Salman Khan feeling exhausted of scripts and barely making an attempt to do good scripts. Atleast shahrukh had good scripts like dear zindagi and vijay had like master. For salman it's been so long when he did good script after bajrangi bhaijaan and sultan.
Brave of you to think Master is a masterpiece script while Nerkonda paarvai even though a remake of pink did total justice to the original and stayed as one of the most gutsy choice an A lister tamil actor done in past 10 years especially he did Pink remake after Viswasam his career biggest blockbuster despite clashing with the Rajinikanth film petta you praise vijay as much as you like but dare to talk about Ajith. Most of the hype for Singham came after Chulbul cameo was announced. Thats what most were looking forward to and boy did Shetty fuck that up. It was such a despo last moment try to get an advantage over Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Bhai was neither in the right state of mind to do it nor did it look like he had any interest in doing it in the first place. He did it just because Rohit did a favor when he preponed Sooryavanshi in 2020 on Salman's request. Also post Dabangg 3 failure, I dont think Salman is interested in revivng Chulbul Pandey truly. So I doubt there will be any Chulbul cop universe film, they have no idea in place and we know that very well now
There was no plan to add chulbul in singham it was just social media rumors they thought that the rumors will be gone after while but even after the movie trailer released people kept saying that Salman Khan is in the movie then Shetty asked Salman to come even if it was just for one scene
Stop putting all the blame on actors; it's often the director who deserves more scrutiny, yet they rarely face the same criticism. Salman Khan had a fantastic cameo under the direction of Sid Anand.
3:17 I think about Salman Khan needs to do is that he should make a Dabangg 4 with Rohit Shetty as director he was not at all necessary in the Singham franchise I don't understand why he was there in that movie
The first tweet did make me sad, hmm. Eventhough it's none of the audiences business, it's a different feeling altogether, reading the first tweet.

So true, the AB's bit is a fact indeed...

He isn't that great of an actor. He mostly has the same expressions in different make ups. Not saying he's a bad actor but he's not that great either.
Bhai kya bol rha😂
Ajay Devgan has never been a good actor. He’s yet another product of nepotism that only got into films thanks to his father’s reputation in the film industry. He has a good voice but I have never seen a single film of his where he has done anything remotely different.

( Though the elaichi ad's are disheartening 😭)

So true!
Then why you came here for salman feet ? C

ARM is a good director, so I am hopeful that Sikandar will be an entertaining mass movie.
I think it’s more because of the directors.. his acting in his recent film tiger 3 .. shows it..
He is director's actor hopefully he will do good in sikandar bcz director is ar murgandas

It was after Tubelight. What should be an actor's priority? To ACT; I mean the first three letters of the profession are ACT, and so if those who don't care about it shouldn't be called actors
Well he is indeed acting as if he cares about making movies right 😅😄
Wow! Awesome ! 🙌

This is pure gold ❤ Observation about Hritik Roshan and Jackie Shroff is so on point…. Very well articulated… all that the audience wants is that the stars ‘care’… in that sense, Amitabh Bachchan remains one of the finest examples of artistic evolution, strong work ethics and thorough professionalism… Aamir Khan is another example of this deep dedication and artistic purity ❤️
Jammy you made me subscribe to your channel with this one ❤️
Good bad ugly seems promising. As a Vijay fan, Ajith can bounce back
It's not about bouncing back or coming back to form, it's about the lack of interest or commitment towards acting or not caring about the fans or their love.. look at Vijay's movie GOAT, he just ticks every possible boxes that his fans would like and does everything to justify his salary and his star position, that is quite the opposite for Ajith, one thing he also gets a big salary but doesnt care to do anything for the movie other than act uninterested...
Anyways like you said good bad ugly seems promising, let's see .
2:33 I think all the actors must start their own production companies and must produce movies other than their own just like what Aamir Khan did with lapata ladies the money that they receive as enumeration should be invested back into the industry
They must be financially secure and not be just dependent on acting the main problem with today's Bollywood is that the actors are investing in outside the industry rather than into the industry itself this is the main problem
this was literally me when Ranbir gave jagga and then Sanju and then vanished, like literally into fcukinh thin air. ek to saala Instagram use krta nhi updates kaha se laaye ke bhai kuch kaam bhi kr rha he, kidhr he. I was literally becoming that meme on internet who pokes the ranbir with the stick, "come on, do something"
i believe majority of actors have made shit ton of money now (be it acting fees, investments, business ventures etc) so much so that they dont enjoy acting as they used to when they was poor. the passion the "bhookh" is gone.
After Sanju , I think it was his films like Brahmastra and Shamshera that were taking too long to complete its post production. Not his fault..Same scenario now as well, we won't see him until 2026

Considering how many options for passive incomes are out there...actors, directors and artists in general should put more efforts than thinking "I make more with my investments than movie role..why should I work harder than my pay?"
In present era i see SRK, Big B, Hritik Roshan passionate about their craft. Rest all have become tooooo lazy delivering avg contents with no acting..

@@rohankhanna1512I don’t think the success of the movie is the criteria here. It’s how much effort the actor is putting in.
In that sense, SRK still does put in a lot of effort to maintain his stardom
As an artist, there are two things I would like to bring to light here :
Just a thought I had and a personal opinion:
The only star I see who is investing in small budget films with great stories and giving them a boost is Aamir khan and yet a lot of people still call srk the saviour of bollywood just bcs his movies do well at box office!!
SRK, Hrithik and a handful of the OGs still give their best whenever they're on screen.
The problem lies with audience as well. When an good hard worked movie like Jigra fails following the success of mindless movies of this Diwali, stars who try to turn themselves into actors start to care less!

Jigra is mid, atleast for me.

Why will Exhibitors give shows to South movies which don't have any hype.
Both of them will be Disaster like many South dub movies.
@@Adityaa-uy7jb cause they are hit movies, better options to audience, better chance to exhibitors for money
There are 150 + shows per day for those movie which are average at best which only has occupancy of 800 seats per day at best can't they give 5 shows a day when clearly the theaters are empty even before release of singham, bb3.
Im really hoping the SSRMB project turns out to be amazing and can bring it some great acting moments from him, but that's going to be another 2-3 years😢
SSRMB? Like spell the entire thing out lol nobody knows what you are talking about
Totally agree with what you said. Stars take their audience for granted. We aren't fools . Their lack of dedication and hard work may lead to their downfall. H8gh time they realise it.
Same with south stars they are also playing safe taking audience for granted new actor's and directors are taking risks
Same with Sports! ROKO has too stopped caring. Andha paisa aa gya hai. Sad but true!
Very well said Jammy. You literally spoke everything, each time hitting Bullseye. It's sad to see this come true, where we are craving for good cinema especially from Bollywood and see our stars like this.

This is an absolute Gem of a video.
Thank god someone said it.
Bro you’re telling “No effort”, his best friend died the day before. His eyes speaks volumes, sleepless and dehydrated. Show some mercy man
Salman has surrounded himself with yes men and very few gets him come out of his comfort zone. He will frustrate his fans till his acting career lasts.
Tbh his crew has been with him since his career start. Its just Salman khan not wanting to take effort in his movies anymore
If he really goes on to do that,it will be a terrible injustice to the talent he has 😢
Only Ranveer , Vicky 😜🥴🥺🥹☺️😡😵💫 is left
Rest are becoming Typecast 😎........
My wife and I had the same discussion just after we came from singham again.. big actors have stopped caring.. we said exactly the same thing
You should stop caring too.
Even Kajol's performance in Do Patti was low effort..i almost thought its coz producer was Kriti so she could have her way
I agree with you. And she kind of bullied Kriti by giving a mediocre performance as a Haryanvi Cop.
Kajol did not do justice to it at all.
Wld hv preferred a Radhika Apte or Sonakshi Sinha in that role.
@a.k.p.4061 Well Joke's on her..imagine being surrounded by relative newcomers and giving the worst performance
Other actors like kriti and shaheer overshadowed her character. It seems like she was in k3g mode and she didn't work on her accent. Even shaheer's haryanvi accent was better than her.
I didn't like her acting in this film.
Audience is already rejecting the lazy actors so no worries they will be phased out soon…
Also one thing jammy. Actors who are 50+ i beleive should not do romance with actresses who are 30 years olds. Like in old times anil kapoor and Amitabh bachan and actresses started taking roles of father and mother as they have aged but Salman Khan romancing with actresses who are literally like age of his daughter (Imaginary daughter) shouldn't do these
Even in his Pathaan Cameo he looked exhausted.
I was bit hyped for Sikandar, but now its all fading after seeing Singham 3 cameo.
Ohhh God the pain in your eyes at 10:03 while talking about his fav star Hrithik 😭😭😭😭😭
7:55 cmon we all know the actor wouldnt have any issue with doing a 360 turn ig it was just to be ironic and show how he cant or doesnt likes to dance
When the choreographer himself said this is not true and kept asking Ajay to dance and he refused, why are you spreading fantasy stories my dude?
It’s okay they are actors not dancers anyways
I have to say, I think in India, overall, the amount of big stars half-assing is considerably smaller than in Hollywood - Salman Khan is Nicholas Cage compared to Harrison Ford nowadays, for example. But yeah, it blows. That's why I tend to have such appreciation for some southern "heroes" like NBK and Ravi Teja. No matter if you dislike their movie personas or the kind of projects they make, you can always count on them to deliver.
Great video, once again, pal.
My english is getting so better,, thanks to you bhaiya ♡ ❣
I’m sure some journalist wrote a piece on Salman 25 years ago about how casual he is. Yet the guy is still here. There is a reason why they are stars and we are the audience. They know their business 100x better than us. As Seinfeld said, “Don’t give what the audience want. There’s a reason why they are not in the entertainment business”.
Cut Salman some slack. He's got a hit put out on him. I'm sure his priority right now is to stay alive and keep his family and friends safe.

Why was Dabbang 3 flop then ?
Stop putting all the blame on actors; it's often the director who deserves more scrutiny, yet they rarely face the same criticism. Salman Khan had a fantastic cameo under the direction of Sid Anand.
