I love my Frankenstein builds. This is the entire reason I LOVE this hobby. Multifaceted problem solving. Very cool build and I love the use of oddball parts
I can see some new chassis coming out for these. Get the trans and motor lower and battery weight low and in the back. Excited for the trophy and prerunner builds. Favorite form of trucks 1:1 and RC
Love the use of the TRX4 axle with lockers. I feel like scale rigs like this really benefit from quite a bit of sprung weight, to keep the suspension acting "scale", anyone else have thoughts on this?
I love this build. I have some parts laying around and may put something like that together. If I may, what part is that located on the side of the chassis that is hold the ryft control arm? I like the look of that.
That front suspension is less than useless. Performs like garbage and does not look 'scale' at all. It's like purposely wearing shoes as gloves and gloves as shoes for no reason at all except to look dumb.
Whatever body you choose, it should probably be a ford truck since the twin I-beam is present.
True
Ya but who wants a ford. Come on😂
@@curtisaustin4535only cheby lovers don’t want a ford
@@markcole6475 ya you go me. I am a Chevy guy
Looks like Spiderman colors an webs on the wheels❤

Double clutch productions makes a rear suspension mount kit that does exactly what you describe.
👍😁😎✌️ 4wheel independent suspension would be really cool. Not sure if that’s possible 🤷♂️
Twin element ifs irs would be fun
I don't know how well the front end works but it's so cool looking I'm going to get one.

My buddies and I discussed doing a direct drive also. I’m interested to see how you like it.
A Kyosho outlaw rampage body would be sweet
Use a ranger or F150 from the 90's
I thought about a portal rear just to take out the torque twist

The good good rc fun time. Hobby STEAM experiments
Just got my kit today its been ordered for months. I am excited.
👍😁
'Franken 10-2'😁👍
Very nice, rims look awesome
Such a badass setup ! Can you share a little more info on how you mounted the motor for a direct drive setup ?
I used a modified XMAXX Motot mount from Bowhouse RC and bolted it into the skid.
Sick build
That’s sick actually! 🤩
Great job joe 👍you always build the coolest trucks and your Ingenuity is very impressive 👍💯
Very interesting build. Can't wait to see it in action. Thanks for sharing!
Chevy jcon monster truck body or raptor jcon body would be perfect
Nice build!!

Your comment was useless.
I really think I’ll be building one soon also 👍
Reminds me of my 93 lightning.
Deeeooowwwnnnn
not a i beam fan at all. a found on roof dead body would be the winner for that setup
No travel and that chassis is going to break
