It's like cutting off your thumbs to be 'unique' like in the past. That's what removing 4wd and adding a non-double wishbone suspension is like....a regression to 1910's technology.
Have you watched the slow motion of these kits landing smh. The tires go 90* to the chassis. These are way too soft for anything but looking cool on a bookshelf.
Not sure what everyone's experience is after the build but here is mine. In a straight line its awesome. Super top heavy and very unstable when turning. I used a 3300 kv puller pro and tried big 5000 mah packs and small 2200 packs without a noticeable difference. Rear swaybar did help some. Hoping to see some more in depth setup videos soon.

Yeah you can pretty much twin I beam anything and ford actually had a twin traction beam front end kinda independent/straight axle crossover. Never had a twin I beam, nothing did from factory.
Haven’t used my scx10ii in years now it’s coming out of retirement soon as the kit gets here. What are you guys doing for more speed? Brushless system?
Pros, TTB, Cons, stock length shocks,no sway bar, rear battery is not actually over or behind the axle resulting in poor CG, the front shock towers flex terribly, almost all mounting holes are stripped after just a few mock up sessions. Did I mention stock length shocks. I dont think my beams will survive very long, my rear parts bag went straight into the trash too. what are you talking about exactly? it has a transmission, also the gearing would depend on what motor and tyre diameter you use and what speed you want, if you can use a screwdriver you can experiment with gear ratios, its not hard
@discovolante6624 the 2WD pre-runner suspension kit does not turn your Axial I and II into a functioning 2wd pre-runner, it just makes it look like a pre-runner. Pro-Line released this as a way to make your old and outdated crawlers look cool on the shelf.

Those aren’t “Ford” beams. They’re modeled after custom fabricated beams which people have installed on every kind of truck out there. And lots of people swapped beams into other makes. 🤦🏼♂️
@@joshuagregg7579they’re synonymous with ford because ford trucks came stock with I beams for a long time , the difference being the stock beams aren’t equal length like the custom fabricated beams people make 🤦♂️

First thing, why would you ever want to give up your front diff for 2 wheel drive. it is very stupid and makes no sense at all. Man you clearly need to do some research. I got 4 of these builds two are 2wd. It's called overdrive with a inverse trans. These properly built and not built for I stagram are the real deal.
so you discontinue the pre runner fender flare kit for the ranger, then release a pre runner suspension kit?

Most Baha race trucks use twin beam front suspention, because it gives you huge amount of travel in the front.
