- Today we are checking out another one from Lovebites called "Nameless Warrior" live from their "Knockin' At Heavens Gate" double dvd. This song is brilliant with thrashing guitar riffs with a lot of fancy finger work, backed by an amazing drummer and low end all topped of with some powerhouse vocals! The music video for “Nameless Warrior” was uploaded after it was officially announced that band leader Miho (bass) had left the band for personal reasons and that LOVEBITES would cease operations.
The music video marked their footsteps from their first live performance as LOVEBITES to Live in Tokyo 2021, and also contained a strong message that “we will come back”.
It must have been deeply moving for them to perform this song at the “Revival Concert” they held after a two-year absence.
They didn't announce that they were ceasing operations, only that they were going on hiatus. Just as a clarification. Although one may argue that's semantics. :)

Im 51 years old, I grew up with Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Testament, etc. Stumbled upon
LOVEBITES by accident. They have become my favorite band by far. The musicianship and skill blew me away. American bands need to step up. I find myself listening to Japanese bands more than any others these days.
Yeah I think they really have a great sound that people of that era will really like as well as the younger generations which is one of the things I love most about them, they really have a great way of making a wide range of a fanbase!
Welcome back to Lovebites ! "Nameless Warrior" chronicles the journey of the band from its inception to the time when the previous bassist left in 2021. This song is not easy to play LIVE because M&M pretty much harmonized licks/solos for the majority of the 6-minute plus track.

Around 1985, I began drifting away from music. Sure, there were songs I liked here and there when I heard them on the radio, but I never really immersed myself in any particular artist or band. Now, I’m completely hooked on LOVEBITES. I discovered them a few years ago, and since then, I’ve attended their concerts twice, Miyako’s piano recitals twice, and even one live show by Fami and Haruna. I’ve always had a cynical outlook on world affairs and society, but now I find myself praying that LOVEBITES can continue to thrive for years to come. I hope their fans around the world can keep enjoying their music, and that one day, young people and children who don’t yet know LOVEBITES can experience their brilliance in a peaceful world.
It is so awesome to find a band that reinvigerates your love for music! These ladies are the perfect band for old school rockers as well as newer generations! They have such an awesome sound! I'm happy to have found them and I am happy that you found them as well and I look forward to learning more about them and seeing what they have in store for the future!
Love this band! I was a huge Iron Maiden fan then these ladies came to my attention and took over as my favorite band! Haruna! Love Haruna. Her feet are so fast it blows my mind.

Love this band! You should check out judgement day for a more recent song by them with the new bass player the solos are the most epic you'll hear also check out a band called unlucky Morpheus- song called cadaver/ revadac. Think you'll like a band called asterism too. Keep up the good work 🤘

the music scene in Japan seems to be thriving/growing...and agreed - this band is uniquely old school and fresh/new, As good as their studio stuff is, they're designed to be a live band...
Not sure what you mean about "mono", everything is in stereo and I dont have the ability to make something mono that I know of. Thank you, I really appreciate it I love all the music coming out of the Japan metal and hard rock scene! I totally agree they are definitely one of those bands that is best experienced live! I always recommend them to fans of the older metal and hard rock bands!
@@dregeye Yeah I believe I have found the issue buried within the settings and after running some tests live I was able to hear what is happening! I believe things got screwed up with one of the updates and I just didnt realize what had happened! Thank you again for letting me know because it IS a big difference! We will do another LOVEBITES to make sure we have fixed the issue! Would you like to pick the song?
I appreciate their talent , but their sound just isn't for me.
