I watched the premier of this song. The second live song released from Knockin' at Heaven's Gate. I'm so glad Fami is fitting into the band so well. This Saturday the 12th of August the concert premieres on their YT channel and their CD/DVD releases August 23, 2023. Lovebites, the Queens of metal and by favorite band
Yes ,Fami does fit in well. Between a few music videos and this, the 2nd live vid from the new DVD, I have yet to see her without a smile on her face, all while tearing up the bass.🤘🤘.
This song was written just after Miho decided she would leave the band. It's the last song recorded with her, appearing on the compilation album ,In the Beginning- The Best of 2017-2021.
You ask what is next for LOVEBITES. Unless there is another new video released from this concert, I suggest Holy War live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020. th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html
just think, this is the 11th song of the night and Haruna is still a speed demon on the drums and the bands energy is as good as Hammer of Wrath as the 1st song of the night. I can not wait for this concerts version of Shadowmaker. This concert looks awesome!!!!
Another Great Reaction. I hope you know that Lovebites is Livestreaming their New Blu-Ray on Saturday @ 7:00 am CDT. The She Wolves will be there in Chat. It's become a sort of Lovebites tradition for a Blu-Ray/DVD release for the Wolfpack. Be there or be square. BTW - looks like about 120-125 on that bar - that's a good curl pull for an Old Codger 💪. BTW - I've found Lovebites music to be the Best for workouts. Not just the tempo, but Asami's constant positive and uplifting 'you can do it' message. Edit: Others have said that Midori (best) and Asami speak English. Miyako is taking English classes now and trying to use it more on her TH-cam Channel. 🤘🐺🤘
Lovebites and Dragonforce have toured together, here's a link to them playing the farming simulator from Dragonforce channel, th-cam.com/video/KnGPZxfOAmg/w-d-xo.html
Lovebites today would be an impossible act for any band to follow. Nowadays they have to be headlining because they are just that good at what they do. Once again great reaction from someone who obviously knows what they're talking about 🤘🎹🎸🎤🥁🐺
Yes, Asami can speak English, also Midori can speak a little bit too (i think). Miyako hired an English teacher and her YT Channel, she tried to speak English. This band member has improved a lot of things, not only music, their personal knowledge too. Just to be together with their fans around the globe. Salute 🫡👍🤘😍
Midori speak good english, watch her and asami reading the comments on rant and chills reaction, she has an american accent
Love Lovebites and I love Dragonforce. Lovebites also draws alot of influence from Helloween (my favorite band before Lovebites). Shadowmaker is my recommended next song. Live 2021 is best 🤘🐺🤘
So many influences can be heard in Lovebites music. The obvious ones are Maiden, Helloween, Priest, Metallica. And yes, even a little DF.
@@TheCyberMantis Some people say that's a bad thing to compare Lovebites to Dragonforce. I personally dont see the the issue. Dragonforce took things to the next level and now Lovebites is taking things to the next level 🤘
@@heavymetalisthelaw1227 Some people think LB is just a DF clone band. So the comparison is kind of an insult to me. I was never into DF, but I do like Herman Li. He's a cool dude, and an amazing player.
To me, M&M is the new Hansen-Weikath from Keepers era, fast yet melodic, that's my introduction into metal musics in general.
@@dino.mozardien I agree. The Helloween influence is strong. Haruna also loves Helloween.
Join the wolfpack on 12 August for Lovebites' one-off LIVE stream on their official YT channel of the entire "Knockin' at Heaven's Gate" LIVE blue-ray/DVD.
LOVEBITES is my favorite heavy metal band right now. Good luck for the interview. Ill be there for sure. 🤘🐺🤘
When i was looking for the reason why Fami was abie to intergrate into the band so quickiy,I read that Fami visited Miyako's house and had special training together.I also heard that Asami invited Fami to a cake shop on Fami's birthday and the two of them ate a large amount of cake . This kindness is driving force,I'm sure/
The main reason:
Fami was deciding if end play bass..
And then, Lovebites ask for bass players.

LOL Asami is ALWAYS eating. She is a Legendary eater, and she's aware it's become a 'meme' with the Wolfpack - and is constantly playing to it on her social media. The obvious question is "Where the Hell does it go?"
Next up - watch the livestream this Saturday at 8am EST. Lovebites will be showing the entire concert they recorded back in March (Fami's first concert with the band). th-cam.com/video/HcPCUXA3Leo/w-d-xo.html
My daughter, Fami,
I didn't realize how much she has grown.
I love Miyako's guitar doubling the vocal backing track. That's some precision playing! Also, Midori's love of Angra has influenced me to start listening to them. Good stuff so far!
I'm glad you're enjoying this journey into the Japanese rock and metal scene. I can't wait for you to discover other bands like Gacharic Spin, Unlucky Morpheus, Wagakki Band, and D_Drive.
Holy crap, I haven't heard someone reference RacerX in a LONG time !! I remember the first time listening to them, we had snuck in to our high school music room to use the sound system in there. Totally blew me away !!
You tend to hear Asami speaking English most out of the 5 but I was impressed by Midori's English on a number of occasions.
No complaint about the Dragonforce and Racer X references--they're spot on. DF and Lovebites toured together and are great friends. I think LB's songwriting is much better, but no question Herman and Sam are monsters on the guitars.
Midori speaks the best English, virtually no accent. So, she must have learned at an early age.
Apparently Midori is also a fitness competitor. So that could be a very interesting interview.
Paul Gilbert has a Japanese girl pupil, Li-sa-X, you know where the name comes from. She posted videos of her performance in 2014 at the age of 8. They caught the attention of Paul Gilbert. She is already a professional guitarist. Another girl named kinoko helmet is now 11 years old and posted a video of her playing on a guitar signed by Paul Gilbert.
I will add one more. Akarin's guitar is now 7 and covered Racer X.
The new album by Loudness is amazing
Paul Gilbert was in Japan for two years when he was in the TV program "Rock Fujiyama" with Marty Freidman. It's in YT :)
Only midori and asami are fluent at english, and midori is very good at it. Both have been living in the US in the past, asami a year training ballet I think, midori doing something else that i don't remember.
Have you reacted to 'Unlucky Morpheus'? Besides Lovebites they're one of my favorite Japanese Metal bands. Their 'gimmick' is that they have a violinist. They also have a beautiful lead singer with an amazing voice. You can find live performances on their official youtube channel. They have a live cover of Eruption by Van Halen and Dance of Eternity by Dream Theater on their youtube page that's really cool. There are studio covers of both as well, but obviously the live version is more fun to watch.
🔥LOVEBITES🐺WORLDCLASS🔥
PERFECT METAL BAND🤘🏻❤️🔥
THANKS FOR YOUR REACTION
That's right, you can hear similarities to Dragonforce. But the main influence for the creation of songs (power metal ) in Lovebites, are the parents of the style... the Germans HELLOWEEN. the girls are big fans of the pumpkins and have never hidden their admiration. Let's say that Midori and Miyako, it would be like the modern and feminine version of Kai Hansen and Mike Weikath.
Midori and Asami speak the best English
Asami speaks the best english she was in the states when she was in college
Racer X now that is a blast from the past!! There was a time Gilbert would have been mentioned in the same breath as Randy Rhoads and Malmsteen and that for me was the sum of it!! They were never big in UK or Europe, in fact I am not sure they toured these shores!! I remember a band from LA called diving for pearls in the early 90s, a one album wonder!
Interesting, I don't remember Diving for Pearls but I should...
Midori and Asami speak English. The other three band members, not so much.
Before Lovebites came along... Symphony X was my favorite band. Romeo is the king of metal.
Lovebites are the queens of metal.
As everyone may know, Miyako composes 70% on their songs and Asami writes all the lyrics. She said during an interview she writes in Japanese and then translates to English with the help of Midori on the more difficult passages.
funny great reaction tks from Canada!
This Japanese Ladies Metal Band shows the Western Metal Bands dude how to play Metal.....🤭🤭🤭
I have to agree with 777Phoebe, the audio on the video is not as good as other versions I've heard.
I agree, I had some problems with my sound capture software awhile ago when it ran an update. I really appreciate you watching as I'm not sure how much longer I'll be doing reactions. You make no income from all the work and you also have to deal with endless bitching and complaining from people about hours of work you do.... for free week after week.
You managed to remain on your seat during this one, that's also a positive. ;-)
LoveBites toured the UK with DragonForce, but although they are both playing power metal, they are not much influenced by them. Miyako is most influenced by Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple and Rainbow She is also influenced by Pantera and Metallica, Metallica is her favorite band. Midori is influenced by Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom and Nuno Bettencourt.
Asami lived in the States for a few years, so she speaks English very well, and Midori is fluent in English as well.
Asami
Love they are....danm
They are better than Dragonforce to me, and Racer X is a great band. And if you want to hear a very great Japanese guitarplayer try Galneryus - Angel Of Salvation !
Asami and Midori speak english.
Their harmonized guitar are more influenced by bands like Iron Maiden, Angra and Helloween, but sure, we can see much of dragonforce too.
The sound in the video is quite muffly, significantly inferior to the original video. I think it might even be in mono, rather than in stereo.
I had problems with my sound capture software a few weeks ago, I think it is better now. If not I might pick up my computer and smash it against the wall...
I hear more of a Iron Maiden influence then Dragonforce
1. You are not the world's worst air guitar player. I've seen much worse. I'm a 2-time North American air tambourine champion.
2. I don't really care for this song that much, but so what, I still love this band.
3. I really wish there was a drum cam video of Haruna playing live. I don't even care what song. If anyone reading this knows of one, let me know.
I gave up on watching reactions to Lovebites, except for your's. I don't like being interrupted when watching these girls givin' it.
Thank you, great comment, lets go to the next song the Crusade live Tokyo 2021, they really awesome musician, please check, give us youre best comment 👍👍👌
Asami and Midori know the most English, but neither is fluent in English. Asami spent a year or two studying in America and can hold a reasonable conversation. Miyako is third. Although Miyako announced she is taking English lessons, so maybe she will surpass Midori and Asami at some point. Neither Haruna or Fami knows any English at all I think.
Your comments are way better than your hair style.
Please react to :
1. Dewa 19 Feat All Stars - Arjuna (Stadium Tour 2023)
2. Dewa 19 Feat All Stars - Immortal Love Song (Stadium Tour 2023)
3. Dewa 19 Feat Jeff Scott Soto - Bohemian Rhapsody
4. Dewa 19 Feat Jeff Scott Soto - Rosanna
Asami spent some time in the U.S. She would speak English the best.
Yet I have seen one video where Midori is helping Asami along with English. i understand Midori has had some time in the US as well.
@@anthonypowell6234Aside from Fami, they've all been in the US. Haruna (and Miho) played an anime convention in America when they were in Destrose, Asami lived here for a bit, and both Midori (Kemper) and Miyako (Peavey) were here for NAMM 2020. If they've been here otherwise, I don't know about it.
