I agree with you guys. That's why Moon over the Castle keeps on as the main song of all GT's in Japan, instead the various pop or electro themes of the Western versions. I want this song for PAL version!!!
I played both the american and japanese version. There are slight changes to physics in the ntsc version. First of all, cars could jump on hills in the ntsc while in the japanese version, it's way more realistic also, impreza wrx sti VER. III's handling was too op, in fact, it can beat any car in the game, while japanese version, it's balanced
I agree. The starting point with flags and morning.. So.. I dunno, Emmotional, and the racing part, so intense and makes the game look super awesome, and it is an awesome game series, i dont own a PS3, i own a 360, but back in the days PSone was the best console there was, and then came PS2.. Sure online playing costed much (measuring at todays rate LIVE costs 5$ month) but it was understandable because of the great game titles, like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear SOLID and other great series by sony

Well, that's like your opinion man! ✌️ I grew up with this version and I was lucky enough to get it on Japanese release, much earlier than the UK release... Don't know how long, but it seemed like I was playing this for a year before it released over here. I was always disappointed with the UK release, because it just wasn't the same without this intro and the jazzy lounge music in the menu's and dealerships. I used to watch this on repeat, and it always completely blew my mind. Now, as I'm nearing 40, I can't wait to finally play a Gran Turismo game in 4kVR, in its entirety... You can probably guess what I'll be queueing up on Spotify 😃
@@azzy2001 Its my opinion ofc. But i always thought, when the game came out, that this game was more on the "serious" side. Ntsc-j brings it to the more casual, almost goofy side with his soundtrack imo. But watever game is awesome anyway :p im also looking forward a gran turismo vr title, on paper it seems so awesome !

Let's just hope that the soundtrack on the new version is a good mix for us all. If not, let's hope that we have the ability to use fully custom soundtracks, like GT6 👍
This is such a generic track - the version with the remix of Manic Street Preacher's "Everything Must Go" (youtube.com/watch?v=TMeYaLNBxQc) is much better, especially at 1:50 with the JGTC Castrol Supra coming into focus over the hill - still puts chills into me!
@@thatslegit Full ver. Of what? The JP version? If so, you're wrong, I own a NTSC/J PS1 with a NTSC/J GT1 copy (my father was in Japan back in the 90s, and bought a Japanese PS1 and Japanese PS1 games) and I have played GT1 numerous times

Main reason why i love GT's intros: it shows the actual gameplay of the game. with some cinematics stuff
