Like a lot of his songs, Jonathan Underdown once again composes the lyrics and provides the vocals.

They went SO hard with these Gran Turismo songs, and this is one of the best video game songs ever, IMO. The punchy drums, infectious guitar rift, and Jon Underdown's amazing lyrics, it's all so good. Really fun to listen to while driving.

It also defines as if in a poetry of going so fast, youre determined youre the only one reaches the goal first than everyone. No matter how far the gap of you to the second place behind you. Leaving a legacy, a pinnacle of human development in motorsports. Money, Fame, Status...you let that all go away in the name of speed that you had faith in ever since you put your steps on these tracks. You only care for being number 1 no matter how much it takes and how much it requires your sacrifice. Your car demands your mind and body, if you cannot give what it wants, you wont win

I remember when played and sang this song for my Guitar class final in middle school, it was simplified but I loved it.

I bought a fairly clean used copy of GT5 but did not ever buy a PS3 to go with it.
Still have MULTIPLE copies of GT3 and I think two copies of GT4.
Stuff started getting wierd console wise around PS3 XBox360 and on.
Golden days for me were PS1 PS2 years.
Nintendo Switch is a good console right now... but the games they are forcing folks to download could easily be fit on a 50 to 100 Gig Blu Ray and sold in the stores like normal good days.
now folks have to pay for network fees and game fees and it clogs the nation's bandwidth so computer gamers get lags.
I miss when consoles were just consoles and not trying to be disguised desktop rigs crammed into a sub-microATX form factor box.
Still have GT1, 3, 4, 5 discs and like 3 PS2 consoles.
Fave was PS2 Slim.
No crazy GPU=no crazy overheating. Other than that Slim is as bad a design for newer consoles than lack of an optical drive.
That is ALMOST as bad as thinking pulling 3.5mm jacks and onboard FM Radios from phones is acceptable.
Pulling optical drives and put LED lights in their place and claiming null or sketchy backwards compatability is a deal breaker.
Blu Ray data density is superb. Over a decade ago I was buying 50 and 100 gig writeable blu rays for my laptop blu ray burner. They still work as does the optical drive if I plug it in.
With the volume of CDs I have gone through I have burned out fed-spec optical drives and worn out a number of motherboards.
When it happens I just gut open the laptop and replace the motherboard or put a new optical drive.
When it comes to Blu Rays my opinion is they are the best enduring medium out there for long term file storage outside of SATA 6Gbps solid state drives in RAID configuration.
Blu Rays are not magnetically sensitive. They are more durable than DVDs and far more durable than 1980's era CDs were. Japan made archival blu rays are absolutely beautiful.
like CDs and DVDs Optical discs are technically Analog+Digital storage mediums. The data can be recovered with microscope in the event of bad damage.
In fact optical drives have been converted to be microscopes.
that said DCMA could actually be contested since records are axis rotated versions of phonograph cylinders and Optical discs are scaled down micro versions of records with the needle being replaced by a laser(s) and digital to analog converter(s) for ease in speed.
Buy a file online and it was not physical medium'd and therefore rights are less than actual discs.
It is impractical to store a video game on vinyl records but if someone built a custom computer big enough we could play a video game on vinyl.
What does all the above mean? it means SONY 15 years ago the optical technology existed that would store most games offline even nowadays.
Heck 15 years ago PS2s had fiber optical audio out connections.
On the new PS's there is ZERO shame having PS1 to current backwards compatability and allowing for old school controllers to plug in to the system via a-la-carte adapter modules as seamless peripheral devices.
The benefit of new systems is cleaner graphics and debatably network play. But old school graphics are fun too.
we loved these games because they were SOCIAL. A house full of people sometimes multiple rooms multiple consoles switching around and doing other meaningfull stuff. It allowed intergenerational mingling among family and sparked stories of their youth and their cars.
Now folks I feel are playing less intra-net social and more inter-net isolated.
less balance. Children and youth need what past generations had. Outdoor games supplememted by occasional nerdy times of come in and excersize your brains on localized offline games that are age appropriate or slightly higher.
I find it strange that this song isn't on GT6. It's one of his best IMO.

This specific track could go to battle with Pendulum's Immersion album. Specifically the guitar solos.
Both were in development alongside each other time-wise and both were released 2010.
This one is Paramore+Deadmau5+Pendulum with a smidgin hint of Three Days Grace twang.
I like GT3 and GT4 songs drastically but this is track is quite good.
Probably closest songs I would consider not violating copyright and IPO stuff since the two Halo songs released by Beyonce and PCD.
