The amount of light output required for this show is incredible. Multiple 100,000 lumen projectors (at over 100K a pop) is my guess. I have been dreaming of reproducing a light show for my project, and just obtained a 10,000 lumen projector which is needed for a much smaller projection area.

This show is based on its Grand Opening "Premiere" which is why the bellhop at the end STILL says, "Welcome to the NEW Hollywood Tower Hotel."
FUN FACT: The show also specifies how everyone, besides the elevator guests, disappeared.

Wish we could've had this at DCA, but it would've been a nightmare for the Red Car Trolly cast members.
You don't have nearly enough space there to pull something like this off.
It's very impressive that they managed to recreate such an impressive show, however, I noticed one difference, the original show had the actors arriving in period cars while this recreation had them arrive on a main street bus, probably because they either couldn't or didn't rent the same type of cars used in the original show.
They should do this on the Florida tower for it's 25th anniversary

@@sholly0072 This show was originally done for the opening of Paris' Tower of Terror in 2007. DLP was celebrating its 15th Anniversary at the time (hence the "15" seen on the gift tag at the beginning of the show when the tower was "wrapped" in pink HTH-themed gift wrap), so it made sense at the time to include the Flying music from Peter Pan (which was also the theme music for the anniversary) in the show.
And not the Disney version !
