I can't count how many many times I have seen them. One of my FAVORITE BANDS ❤️
I still miss Vince and Rick and Re😟
They def didn't have to lip sync. These are top musicians with major chops. Fortunate to have seen them live 4 or 5 times. Always a great show. 😎🎸👍
This is the Alan Thick show, it isn't set up for live singing, this is easier for those cheap late night shows.
Talent, Indeed
Man, I love that singers little rocking dance. He still does it now, almost 40 freakin years later! Keep rockin, bro!
They didnt have to lip sync. They had the chops.
yep ... I saw 'em in 1995 ..... awesome show!!
John Waybill, Roger Steen, Richard Anderson, Vincent Welnick, Prairie Prince .... incredibly under-rated rock band!
You forgot Mike Cotten.
Or Spooner.
Good times! Thicke of the Night getting it done! Tubes making hits!
RIP Alan Thicke, Jane Dornacker, Vince Welnick.
I think my favorite album.
I’ve never heard “ Tip of my Tongue”. Would have never guessed it was the Tubes- sounds like something Earth, Wind and Fire would have rocked.
Good ear. Maurice White co-wrote this awesome song.
@@freebirdforever2674 Maurice White was THE BOMB!! I miss him.
Love Bobby kimballs backup vocals
+ Bill Champlin. Power of Chicago + Toto!
I knew that had to be Bobby Kimball since the very first time I heard the song! Circa April 83!
Obviously recorded outside of the Alan Thicke Show. Nonetheless, a true gem of early 80s Tubes appearances. A great Canadian showcase of an eventual great Canadian tour by the Tubes original band in 1983.
wow are they ever old
At least they didn't lip sync on SCTV
Please listen to both sides at one sitting. Good advice in the download days.
Lip sync? Good lord

Love the Tubes, but I cringe looking at them lyp sync.
