HD Gordon model by RedMenace: steamcommunity...
    Things I need to fix:
    Firelight needs to flicker.
Head needs to not be as tilted at the end.
    Jankey forearms?
Commissioning Kevin Sisk or Kathy Levin to say "Epinephrine" so I don't have to use "Anti-toxin"
The facial features seem okay... it was kind of a rough job though.
The interface panel on his chest folds a little when he bends over, I need to make sure his entire chest area is stiff/moves as one piece.
Recommended by u/canyoudont__: Replace "vital signs are dropping" with something less dramatic to reflect his body language due to limitations with motion capture technology.
Suggested by u/PapaFritaFox: "...if Gordon had a shock it would be because of trauma, and the principal mecanism for that is blood loss. Epinephrine would certanly help but the patient usually does not feel better inmediatly and is in no condition to do much. A review of the HEV sounds it seems the suit has blood plasma for administration, so Gordon should get the treatment required."
Suggested by u/Roya14: "I'd imagine in todays world that the HEV suit has some actual trauma medicine injectors (epinephrine, vasopressin, TXA, low dose ketamine for pain, etc).... If you get a VOX actor have them do Epinephrine/Vasopressin and Ketamine (low dose so he doesn't hallucinate and can still function)."

I love the concept that the HEV suit 'speaks' for Gordon, meaning Gordon doesn't have to say much/anything. For example, Gordon doesn't need to say "OW! I'm in pain!", instead the HEV suit can say "Minor. Fracture. Detected." and the same message is conveyed. This is something I think can work really well cinematically, following the principle of 'show, don't tell'.

(Thanks for you comment on reddit btw)
I very much agree. Like I've said before, it's a large part of the reason why HL had so much success.
It also helps to convey to the viewer what the HUD in the original game does. Ie, Gordon could press a button on his suit and the voice could tell him it's current power level or medical readings. I removed the HUD because it's more cinematically dramatic and tense for Gordon to not have a helmet.

I would add 2 beeps before the suit says "vital signs are dropping" just like in the game, but other than that, fantastic work! I'd love to see a Freeman's Mind easter egg or reference at some point in this series, as well as using most (if not all) of the HEV voice lines, as shown here: th-cam.com/video/dWkFzIMzd9g/w-d-xo.html
This series has so much potential! Keep it up!

    Not bad.
Movements are realistic to. Just like Pinwheel Arts's Half Life

I really love what Pinwheel Arts did... it inspired me to work on somewhat the same thing, except mostly in first person.

This is pretty good, Keep it up!
Although i will admit that the possibility of a resonance cascade scenario is extremely unlikely.

Gordon doesn't need to hear all this, he's a highly trained professional!

Found this on a whim and absolutely loving it.
Will the third person views still be in the final version or is it just for the trailer? I'd personally still stick with first person throughout the whole thing.

I've been very back and forth about that. Initially, I wanted to include it until I saw peoples reactions to it on Reddit. I've decided third person animation is a little out of my league, and involves good use of camera angles, which I have no experience with. I've decided to let animators like Pinwheel Arts do third person Black Mesa animations.
Besides, first person animation is easier overall. There's a lot of broken glitchy stuff that has to be taken care of for third person animation to be effective, but for first person you can have all sorts of things going wrong and it not have to matter one bit because of the limited perspective.
I'm probably going to keep the first time he wakes up in third person, but after that keep a face reveal very rare. I am going to remaster this scene in first person, with him in the fetal position on the floor (which is VERY difficult to get perfect, but is attainable if kept in first person), or some other semi-dramatic scenario to reflect the emotion of the music that Joel Nielsen lovingly created for the situation.

I'd honestly not show him at all and keep everything in first person so immersion is still kept. All your choice though.

@@Validatormaybelater honestly, picking a spot where Gordon has vertigo to do 3rd person perspective is pretty brilliant

That suit is so smart and vital for hazardous environment work that Gordon might be the precursor to the space marines of WH40K
