08925 is hundreds of years old. AMAZING to see it. I assumed most of these trains had been scrapped in 1980s. I was there almost every day in the 1980s, I used to watch the diverted class 45s divert to Bryn. Always something interesting and unusual at the refuelling point each morning. That yellow horrendous 2 carriage freezing cold 'multiple unit' still running to Liverpool/st Helens, Ouch. Thanks.

DRJMF1 can’t remember when I filmed this! I do recall parking my car in the y of the mainline and the branch, which I did many times, but this one day a bobby drove up and parked next to me. I thought I was going to be in trouble for parking there, I was just feet away from the line,. The constable said “ keep your eye out sir, there has been some vandalism of late, if you see any wrong does, let us know”.

@@TheHappyPensioners that's a classic event too ! Wigan is the best, better than all the rest (except Toton Traction Depot). Wigan vs New Zealand All Blacks at Central Park in the '80s,best rugby ever, i lived at Riverside opposite the stadium (now Tesco).
