when I bought my first GMK set when I was brand new to the hobby, I thought it would ship in 2-3 days bc that's what I paid for LMAO, ended up waiting 6.5 months for Dots R1

When I purchased a keycap set it said 18 months. It's been 3 years and the vendor blames me for asking for updates.

Thank goodness I'm too broke to live this out. I just got a cheap hotswappable RK71, lubed and filmed the switches, replaced the stabs, bought some YDMK keycaps, and called it a day. It's the budget end of things, but still better than anything I've ever bought stock.

I grow weary waiting for that new keyboard. I got hotswap because I like change and I know I will have the patience to lube and film 80+ switches everytime i want to test a new feel. Yes a totally productive use of my time. What will I do with all the spare switches though... Oh I will buy another keyboard and use them to store them. I'm smart so I will go budget.
You know what, I am at work so much that I think I should have a keyboard there too. Since we use Mac and Windows, I could probably get away with two keyboards for work. It's justified. This means I can use two at home too... I got a 65% and it is not as productive as I wish. I will get a TKL just for fun.
Today I learned about ergos, certainly I can reach 150 wpm with that layout. It is so ergonomic, the layout just speaks to me.
Today I learned ergos were not my thing and I've fallen behind at work because of all the lubing. I feel I need a full keyboard layout keyboard for MAX productivity. Yes that will be my exit to this hobby.
Today I learned about AM Hatsu, it speaks to me. I have to go withdraw some money.

I think I just fell in the rabbit hole. I order 3 keebs last month KL-90, TGR Tomo and cyberboard r2. Add that to Titan 65 and KBD67v2. Funny that the only keyboard I actually have at home is a duchy Mini Mecha
