I have been hesitant to purchase but finally reached out to Dan with some questions/concerns and he replied within 10 minutes. All questions answered my transaction through PayPal was seamless. Less than 10 minutes later I received 2 sets of JMJ 1&2 Krome files, both from Dan himself and his 3rd party file transfer company. Dan does this to make sure his customers receive all purchased products. Very Professional! And just minutes later after a quick load into the Krome with easy to follow instructions JMJ awesomeness was coming out of my Korg Krome. Trying to play JMJ is a blast! I would not hesitate to buy from Dan again and I do have my eye on some of his other cool Packs. Thank you very much Dan!
I just bought a 2nd hand Krome, i'm jaleaous on you to own this amazing pack ( it's $79 for 1&2 that's it ?) + all the other packs, it's lot of money i can't afford... Shame...
I have Vangelis and JMJ, and they are worth and deserve all the price! He completely transforms the Krome into another keyboard, he did a great job of programming by devoting a lot of time and effort !! They are not mere sounds of simple songs! KORG could buy his sounds, paying him well, and improve his keyboards, with his sounds ! my Krome is now worth twice as much!
Dan, as ever, you never cease to amaze us with your extraordinary talent in programming these fantastic instruments. Fabulous sounds. Thank you for uploading and giving us the pleasure to hear them.
I got a KromeEx last week trusting in Korg, and after watching some Krome YT videos I was a bit disappointed, thanks God I found a monster like Dan that knows how to play and record the songs, not even the official Korg staff has his talent, I am now much happier in purchasing this synth and also very proud in using same Dan's keyboard.
If it makes you feel better, YANNI upgraded all of his keyboards in his live concerts from Korg Triton to Krome... Long time ago... and still uses them😀 👍
@@Talia.777 Yes, it is a very good keyboard in price/quality relation, the only thing is that factory sounds are not really good (in comparison with Yamaha that you practically have to adjust nothing), it is a matter of how to set and combine the instruments and also inserting the right FX's, I still have it and I'm happy with it.

I myself have Yamaha Tyros 5 (Arranger Keyboard), and both styles and Sounds are just fantastic... as you mentioned above, You don't need to adjust or modify factory sounds especially... As they are almost perfect.... Synth wise, I own Yamaha Mod 6....and it's very good..... though its keybed could be better... 😅 I've heard Krome is Kronos's little baby.... 😊
@@Talia.777 Yes, I heard that too but it is not true at all, KromeEx is more in line with the old Korg M50, at the moment I'd prefer Nautilus than Kronos, Kronos is now a bit obsolete and vintage in my opinion. I love the Yamaha Mod's sounds and you are right, I tried it a couple of years ago in a music store and I found its keybed a bit toyish, so the main buttons etc, KromeEx in that way looks and feel more professional in your fingers, having said that, I have all my respect to Yamaha that knows how to attract and catch new customers simply by getting them a delicate, real and sophisticate sound, they have much clever sound engineers than Korg.

You are the only one who has not only made it possible for me, not only as a J.M.Jarre Fan, but also the many well-known Cult Syhntesiser Sounds on our iInstruments, that is for me as in the Paradise of Sounds, I am totally inspired by your work. After listening to Jean-Michelle Jarre in the Mid 70's, nothing really interested me until I came across this Amazing Synth Artist named GILES REAVES, with his first album on LP "Wunjo" (joy) Featured in its entirety on the show "Hearts in Space" globally by TH-cam. Then later, his Hit album titled, "Nothing is Lost" which I could not stop listening to and when I thought things couldn't get any better, He surprised us all with his most amazing recording of, "Sea of Glass" which I use every night for Lucid Dreaming and for Meditation and since, I haven't found anything like it anywhere else in the world and believe me, I have looked hard... please take the time to check them out. Hi Dan, is there any basic rule or secret for setting the volume for each instrument? ie. from 1min to 5max Bass: 3 Drums: 3 Strings: 2 Master piano: 5, etc Sometimes is very hard for me to set the right level volume on each instrument/track.
Is not a rule, the level depend on the IFX rout as well. So a bass with Compression or Limiter could be little bit hi level then dry one. All depend on your taste. After mixing try to use a master EQ to adjust a bit in TFX, or Mastering Limiter to balance the sounds.

Hi David, you need the unit to instal the sound. I made the JMJ packs for KORG Kross, Krome and Kronos.

It just a PCG file. Few custom programs, arp patterns, drum patterns and combis.
