I’ve been disappointed at songs not qualifying before, but this just hits on another level. Their song. Their energy. Their presence. It’s all I wanted to see on the finals stage
I'm almost 100% sure the juries slaughtered this entry in the decision process because of the language. But damn, they said their goal was to get the most people to shout Pussy in the crowd, and they sure as hell got that done. Bravo Latvia, you're winners in our hearts.
@@seteliseppo8803 I mean, I'm generally as impartial as I can be (for example I personally find Greece boring, but believe it has a high chance of winning), and I objectively felt Latvia had one of the most charismatic, energetic and positive performances of the night. The absolutely killed it on stage, where some of the qualifiers felt like they weren't particulatly stand-outs. Clearly there's a heavy preference for slow emotional type songs at Eurovision (case in point the Jury vs Public votes for Keiino in 2019), which is honestly really bogus in my opinion.

Performance was disaster comparing to Supernova finals. Why did they change the stage is beyound me. Honestly Norway also did look worse and moves where not so smooth. Something to do with camera work or audio delay.

Latvia was so much stronger live than in studio. There was a BOOST of energy that was so obvious here. Like... everything went amazing, if you ask me. Real good job from them, even if qualification didn't reach them... they must be very proud of their amazing energy. Good luck to Latvia next year. :)
I like the studio version but this version is the one I always go back to. The energy is immaculate, their performance is incredible. And the audience screaming pussy just adds something to it. Iconic.

Latvia and Citi Zeni were ROBBED. The whole song and performance were incredible in every way. It was iconic, spectacular, both good and fun as well, your entry was amazing. It should've easily been in top 3, or at least top 10.
HOW did it not qualify??? Why didn't it get many televotes??? And the juries too, only Portugal had sense and gave 12, plus a few others gave a 1-4 points too.

I bet a lot of people vote for their own country and latvia has a very small population, also the lyrics may have been a bit too much for the people who take everything seriously. It doesn't matter who wins though, it was an awesome performance and a fun and happy song, latvia can be proud !

Очень жаль, что Латвия не прошла в финал. Это был один из самых запоминающихся, ярких, энергичных, веселых номеров. Парни такие живые, обаятельные, артистичные. Песенка такая свежая, светлая. А солист в зелёном костюме невероятно подвижный, красивый, элегантный. Это - сама молодость и таких артистов надо поддерживать, пока они не обросли жирком и "заслугами". Но европейский зритель почему выбрал в финал несколько совершенно бесцветных, нудных песенок и не пропустил латвийский номер. Жаль. Не понимаю я этих вкусов публики.
