It's been fun watching all your relic completion videos. Idk what series you're planning on doing next, but here's some suggestions: Getting all plat relics in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure on GBA (not too hard) Getting all plat relics in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced (reasonable challenge) Completing 200 percent in Crash Bash (extremely difficult) Beating all the dev times in the N Sane Trilogy (UNBELIEVABLY difficult) Beating all the dev times in Crash Bandicoot Warped on PS1 (hardest challenge in the entire series imo) Completing Crash Boom Bang! (god help your soul if you attempt this)
It's a bit sad to see a year of time trial videos come to an end. These videos have been really entertaining to watch and it's been impressive to see your improvements throughout the year. If you want more time trial content, there are developer times in the N. Sane Trilogy. It would be interesting to see you go back to those games now. There's just no in game indication when you beat their times, so you'd have to look up the times and put them on the screen like here.
I’d have to play on PC for those, I believe some aren’t possible on console due to frame rate or something. Good thing is I do own the game on PC already
@@WumpaLewis Crash 2 is the easiest one and all times are doable. Crash 1 has Cortex Power (requires a glitch to beat) and I believe Boulder Dash is one I cant beat on the console. Crash 3 has an impossible time to beat due to supposedly a typo in your favourite Hog Ride, so a challenge of this level is to sub 37:00. It is possible. I've done few times myself, but if you're few frames off, you wont get it. On PC, you should have an easier time however than me on the console. Hey. If I've done pretty much all of those time (without glitching and those that doesnt require glitches) on CONSOLE mind you, than anybody can do them. Some just take time.
I think the atlassphere levels aren't just the best vehicle levels in Wrath, but some of the best in the Crash series in general. Perhaps only behind the Polar / Pura levels.
@@Phriendship That's probably a big part. There is no forced movement involved, and the levels are also quite expansive which sets them apart from the underwater levels (for example).
Surprised Droid Void didn't make it, but anyways awesome run of this game Lewis. Look forward to you tacking the GBA games' plat relics, as well as Bash's plats... that's gonna be fun to watch.
Amazing series. Loved it. This year has been amazing for your channel. I hope next year you consider doing crash bash 200%. I've done it, even in co-op I can tell you, it's hell.
Decided to do my little guessing game again, similarly to the Crash 4 dev relics series. My guesses (which are also in my comment on the last video) were: - Eskimo Roll ✅ - Smokey and the Bandicoot ✅ - Droid Void - Crashteroids - Gold Rush ✅ Turns out I got 3/5 correct! Wasn't expecting to see Medieval Madness on the list, you got a ridiculously fast time on it. I think Tooney struggled with it as well. Not surprised to see a long level like Gold Rush though. Once again, congrats on obtaining these -Tooney- platinum relics, Lewis! 👍🌟When I get around to finishing Wrath of Cortex, I will use your relic series, as well as TooneySA's, as a guide. (maybe even get all the platinum relics, unlike the N. Sane Trilogy, where I only went for gold)
I did the platinum relics a year or two ago but from what I can remember my top 5 worst were 5. H2OHno-Claustrophobic space with a giant submarine making it super hard to dodge obstacles and fish and I got stuck on ledges constantly and after that the electric water would ruin my runs as it was really hard to jump on those crates 4. Bamboozled-Super strict time it's very easy to fall off or hit nitros crates are in awkward spots off course and those elevators kill time especially that one right at the beggining 3. Eskimo roll-Everything like you said but the part that screwed me the most was those downward slopes where it's so easy to go too fast and miss valuable crates the time is super strict too 2. Coral canyon-I did this on a physical copy on a playstation 2 and the screen is so blurry it's so hard to see the crates and the mines and the time was so tight each run I would miss it by a second or less than that 1. Droid void-Those awkward monkey bars ruined by each and every attempt if it wasn't that my aku masks would get ruined by the electricity switching back and forth so I would be forced to do the monkey bars without skipping the droid sucks the hitbox is so big and that part at the end where you have to charge jump to get a 3 crate killed any attempt at a platinum
Enjoyed this series! It went fast of course, but looking forward for any more platinum relic content. TWoC is such a chill ride, with some not so well levels.
Welp, with this, the Platinum Relic era of this channel has officially concluded. These 11 months have probably been the best of the whole channel, coming close in quality to the CTR Dev Time series. It's been an absolute blast for the whole community seeing you master each Crash platforming game, your understanding of them and overall skill is better than the vast majority of players now. Same goes for Tooney's ambition to beat your times, all that and the server he made on NST relics really brought life to the game and got loads of people to improve on the games themselves. Still looking forward to the upcoming livestreams on WoC 106%, and any future CTRNF content that might come at some point. Would be great to see possible time trial livestreams or private itemless lobby streams, especially with NF recently coming to the gamepass!
I noticed that in this whole series (so far) the platinum relics seems to get easier and fun as you do the series like crash 1 was hardest and wrath of cortex looks like the easiest dispite some relics being really hard
man that 11 months went fast, i remember in one of your earlier crash 1 videos you said something along the lines of ‘who actually wakes up in the morning and thinks ‘yeah I want to some platinum relics today’’ well I guess now we know..
I think i have commented this before but since we will have to wait for Crash 5 anyways, besides you attempting the relics on lesser popular games, it would be fun actually speedrunning the games as a whole since you quite literally got perfect in every level of the relic based games. And its not like you need a good pb or anything, i feel like the games in a speedrunning experience can be even more enjoyable, just like the relics. Just a suggestion again cause i thought that would be pretty dope. Ive been following this series since the very first episode.... 8 months ago WOAH
My game back then couldn’t load boss 4 so i never played level 21+ but i remember being able to get all the platinum relics for 1-20 So my guess is they made the time trials to be obtainable without the spd boost 🤔.
It’s so weird how medieval madness has the same music as the gauntlet in the Xbox and GameCube version of the games. But its own unique music track in the PS2 version. I wonder why they did that.
Yeah Wrath of Cortex's relics are pretty lenient ... Almost too lenient... It's kind of sad looking back on it seeing how easy it really is when struggling on this game as a little kid🤣😂 The game lacks much of a challenge overall lol
Yeah, I always found that weird, too. This game definitely feels easier than the original Crash trilogy even for 100% completion. As I recall, it really doesn't have as much backtracking through levels so you can usually break all the crates in one run. The level design in most levels was pretty straightforward and I recall most crates just being out in the open with nothing really being hidden.
Honestly, this game had some of the easier Relics to collect when compared to Crash 2 and 3, but still plenty frustrating in some levels. For me, Coral Canyon and Droid Void were extremely obnoxious Relic Challenges. Crash's movement just feels off in this game compared to the original trilogy. Crash is just so incredibly slow on the monkey bar sections and it drives me crazy!
As stupidly easy as some of these relics are the truly painful levels are the altosphere levels. Considering the time I would like to see what the dev time was and the route they took.
Now with CTRNF coming to game pass on Xbox do you think you're gonna make more of that content again? I've always enjoyed watching you play it. I really hope the game gets revived some day.
I honestly gave up on Wrath Of Cortex due to too many differences. I got so bummed out that I went back to some other games and I had legitimate fun. Planning to do "Retro Christmas" soon, where I will leisurely replaying Crash trilogy and Spyro Trilogy on my PS2 I still own. Point of advice on Dev Times in N.sane tho: (should you ever do them for content) Crash 2 is easiest imho and all times can be done. Crash 1 has Boulder Dash thats impossible on console (at least I wasnt able to beat it.) and Cortex Power without a glitch, is impossible also. Crash 3 has Hog Ride as a legitimate impossible time due to typo allegedly. So the challenge is trying to Sub 37:00. I've done few times on console myself. I wont be coming back to time trials in good while now. I still havent finished my Need For Speed Most Wanted run on my PS2... and its a yearly tradition that I play it and TRUE 100% it every year once. Gotta say..... im very... uninspiried lately ahahah. 😅
If you're looking for more platinum relics to get you could try the GBA titles
Yeah the reclics in the GBA games are impossible
@@anonluxor470 They're not.

Definitely recommend playing these games in general.
