- I just bought this 4200maH battery for the Zino Pro off of Ebay. Tested against the stock 3000maH battery in very windy conditions. The Zino Pro was a handful to keep in frame as you shall see. Thanks for watching!

I tested my Pro on a windy afternoon after updating it with the 1218 firmware package (I looked it up just now and 0113 is already out) and it was very stable. That said, you have a lot of ground-based obstacles (trees, buildings, etc.) in your vicinity which create turbulence as the wind passes through them. I bet that had you hovered above tree level, your Pro would have settled. You could probably also use a horizontal recalibration to improve stability.
I'm surprised to see your zino pro behaving like this, we've been having strong winds in the uk recently and I took mine out and the hover stability wasn't a million miles off my spark, I've been pleasantly surprised especially with it lacking any optical flow or ultrasonic.
Good content as always.
Great test! Enjoyed that. Am waiting for the "other" big battery to be delivered for my Zino Pro.... ... 😊
Keep posting
The new 5000mAh battery needs strapps to fix it to Zino, its a mess, see this -> th-cam.com/video/IKmtDSrjYVo/w-d-xo.html, We must protest with thing "thing", never see nothing like this!
Works great, looks great.
Dang!! That thing was all over the screen. Lets hope the Zino 2 is better with the stability. Good test though.
Yes. The hubsan brand does not use optical flow or acoustical sensor but hubsan zino 2 has that as well as avoidance sensors I think. GPS and barometer are the only thing keeping it in place so windy days are like riding a bucking horse . I've got an idea velcro a GI JOE on top with his kung fu grip and 1 arm up 😎 !! I'm going to try that!
I did notice the wind was blowing
@@WilliamHorsley1962 nope there is NO avoidance sensors in Zino 2....
Great testing, thanks for sharing
Planning to get this too...
Did you charge your batteries at 100 % 4,35 V by cell ?? I fly 22, 51 min with the original battery and 29, 54 min with ths GIFI Power ( Zino Pro )
Good test but wow those zinos move around a lot!
Did you charge the new battery on a balance charger ?
Thanks of battery review! However, it is almost painful to see that zino, a GPS drone, holding position :)
Did you calibrate before flying it? Even if I do, over 10mph winds I get about 3-4 feet of movement from the launch point. If I don't calibrate it, I have almost no control over it whatsoever.
That's quite a substantial difference. A couple of questions, Brad. Did you charge the Gifi on the standard charger or a balance charger and is there any weight difference in the batteries? Thanks for sharing the video.
I charged it on the standard charger and yes there is a little weight difference...the 4200maH is a little heavier. Not a lot, but some. I meant to mention that at the beginning. Thanks for watching.
nice!!
How does the zino pro do vs the mavic mini in the wind?
Great, next test is the long range test.
how about a link to the battery
Pls tell me that's not the auto hold position
GPS hold? Yes
Good test! 🖒Does this battery works on "normal" Zino??
Yes...should fit the Zino.
@@CirclingtheDrone Great!
Good test. I'm planing to soon buy a zino pro. A'm going to buy it with only one battery and and then, buy separated, two more batteries. These new 4200mah, or the 5000mah I've seen in gearbest.
I think the 4200 will better. Over charge protection on the 5000 will protect battery and not drone. Safer bet is the 4200
I agree with you
Have you seen how the 5000 mah batteries are attached ??? 🤣🤣🤣
the 4200mah are ok.
Was there any bars left at all or did you run it down as close as you could to zero.
I landed both batteries with 15% left.
Circling the Drone Not too shabby! Looks like I’ll be picking up a few. Thanks for the review. Got a like and new sub.

What firmware are you using? Your drone isn't very stable when hovering and the wind isn't that bad based on the flags I see.
The latest and greatest firmware and it was ver ywindy for the Zino.
Yes they've been known for using GPS and barometer for stability In a hover throughout their history of gps quadcopters and that's all. A $150 bugs 4w uses optical and ultrasonic and has a locked in hover but I suppose it would have increased price of zino pro substantially and made the introduction of the Zino 2 less of a big deal except for range which is Way Beyond visual range I have the pro and I will never take it out farther than 3000 feet with a spotter not just because the FAA will fine you but also because of the future of online sales by quadcopter is only a matter of 6 months to a year before all quadcopters will be required to have location beacon and flight corridors for Amazon in the like will be monitored like any freeway except fines are going to much larger then any speeding ticket. Check the city where you live and I bet you'll notice a large amount of AMAZON hubs. They locate them close to each other because they are going to start out with short distance deliverys until they get all the bugs out of system
can you send me the link where you bought it? Please
I bought it from maximalpower.com on Ebay. They are currently out of stock, but there are other sellers of these on Ebay.
Same charger?
Yes. I use the same charger supplied with the Zino.
Hey, how long does your controller batter last?
It seems to last quite a while. I'm not sure exactly how long.
@@CirclingtheDrone can you be more specific? Like would it last 4 x 20 minute flights?
@@rugbykiwi9 I got the normal zino controller and it usually lasts me 5 to 6 15 to 18 minute flights
Direct fit no mods?
Correct. No mods.
Try hand catching while landing. Safer, easier.
Especially on Windy days😎
This drone needs 100 foot circle just to hover
It's usually much better, just windy.
you didn't do all your setup right or am too close to powerlines or some electrical interference. my zino pro is as stable as iof on tripod. period. maybe it is defective or house wifi is causing interference. good luck
Really? That's great! Congrats! Let's see some footage!
SAme here my zino pro is very steady even in a little wind. always getting 10 to 12 satilites and she is steady. try re calibrating??

Did I see you bounce the drone off the ground when landing. Hahaha your horrible
Haha...not me. The wind
I hear you
