On Saturday mornings i have a routine, seeing all kitchen-and cat-related chores. Then i make my breakfast and coffee, sit in my favourite armchair and look to see if there is a Made by Cath Craft update.
I love that your children not only enjoy playing with their home made toys but are involved in choosing the colours and additions. It must also feel great when your husband asks for a make. Everything you've made and all the additional information you give makes your vlog interesting.I love your makes and the pink jumper looks especially cuddly .

I haven’t cross stitched for a while but I did a few projects when I was a bit younger and I remember that being a lot of fun too. I love the dolls dresses. They made me remember some dolls clothes that mum made for me in the early 70's, although they were smaller than yours as they were for my Sindy (12") doll. I remember mum saying that they were much more fiddly than the dresses that she had made for me and her before.

Love the new fabric. Seems like a waste to make knickers out of it. It’s so pretty I would make a lovely summer top. Your pink to Looks quite snuggly and war which I need right now in our weather. The little animals are so cute!

By Annie's Soft and Stable is a wonderful" interfacing ”. I like that it isn't fusible. I sew it in and then use duckbill scissors to trim it out of the seam allowance. It gives a bag which can stand up, is soft, squishy and wonderful to use
I don't know how old your daughter is, but I learnt to sew when I was at primary school, and apart from an apron, dress and nightie made at school, all my sewing was making numerous outfits for my Sindy doll. I probably sewed them by hand initially but I did eventually get a mini manual sewing machine. Simplicity used to have numerous Sindy patterns, some of which I still have, and I think they still do have various dolls clothes one.
Hi Cath! Those doll dresses were super cute! I haven’t been sewing lately but I’m getting ready to pull out some knitting for Finish It February. I have to finish a sweater for my husband. Lots of knitting. I’ve only made him sweatshirts, I’ve never knit for him. Fingers crossed he likes it.
