I love making lots of those little boxy zipper bags for knitting projects. Small ones for socks and bigger dopp kit sized ones for light sweaters. We have two cats who love wool so all knitting project bags must be able to zip up around here.

Thank you Cath, you've inspired me to hunt through my yarn stash for some simple crochet projects. I think a crochet cat lined and filled with sand would make an adorable door stop.

Lovely crochet bags, and those kitties are adorable! I haven't done too many crochet projects in awhile, so maybe I'll make a kitty family for my girls. 🙂 You could actually turn those into little owls too, if you add a beak instead of nose, crochet little circles to put under the eyes, make little leaf-shaped wings, and leave off the tail.
Your green fabric is beautiful as well. I don't know if the fabric is right or if you have enough, but it would make another pretty Orage dress.

I totally made that same fibre mood top with the same Joni fabric. I love it❤ I never thought of wearing it with a turtle neck. It’s very nice. Luckily I just made one.

The green velvet will look beautiful on you. I’m sure you can get a dress out of it even though it has to be cut all in the same direction. Simple lines look best with velvet anyway.
I love the color! I believe U are tall enuf 2 rock that as a tunic with a pair of wide black party trousers! (rock that? my term 4 own the look, look great in it!). Ciao.

The stretch velvet would make a lovely Cardi unless it's really thin. With some matching rib knit maybe a Harper Cardi from Sinclair free pdf. When though the pattern doesn't include buttons etc ....I added buttons. It's turned into a fav Cardi for me.

Happy New year. I really enjoyed your vlog. I too added crochet to my crafty hobbies and also made my daughter little cat over the Christmas. I really love those bags that you made and definitely will add to my gifts for 8 year old girl’s project and my add those kitties with it. Oh my .. too many hobbies and not enough time in a day 😂. I also love the velvet fabric and something simple and not over complicated would suit that fabric very well (maybe a pinafore style of dress or skirt? ). I look forward to your future videos.

The green velvet fabric is stunning, i purchased the same fabric in a really rich blue also from Guthrie Ghani. Such a lovely quality, i was in the process of making the Adrienne top when my overlocker broke!!!! Still awaiting new parts. Thank you for your video.

Hi Cath. I have a question. The beautiful bags you made, how long does it take to get them dry or how do you dry them while blocking them. I do block my knits but they seam to take way too long to dry. I love how much amazing crafting you manage to fit in. Just amazing ❤❤
Hi there, for the bags I didn’t soak them, to block them I pinned them to my blocking boards and then steam blocked with my steam iron. So they got a bit wet from the steam but weren’t soaked through so they dried very quickly. Hope that helps 😊❤️
