Awesome play-through again Colin! Just a few rulings (as thanks for your videos teaching me how to play Mage Knight so well :p) When your deck is empty and you draw a card you shuffle up your discard pile and form a new deck, also you CAN have more than max health, if I remember correctly you can have 5 more than you're starting health but I might have the exact number wrong. Also that 20 damage attack and heal might be the coolest thing I've seen in all of DTA!
How did I miss you could reshuffle your deck! Oh well made it harder haha! Thanks so much for watching and commenting, I had a GREAT time with this game! Now on to the final boss!!
@@OneStopCoopShop Both of those are base-game Dice Throne rules (they're not specifically mentioned in DTA). And you can go up to 10 health above maximum.
Hey Colin, I really liked this series. I know this playthrough is a couple of years old already, but if you see this, make sure to check the Santa vs Krampus KS page, they posted some balance changes for some characters and the Vampire Lord was one of those.
Oh my goodness that was such fun to watch along with, thanks Colin We can definitely say that you weren't a big heel getting all those big heals lol I don't blame the Vampire Lord getting rid of the Elven Boots, having already been worn by a Treant and a Dwarf. She has far too much dignity and self respect Me on the other hand, would have no such qualms! lol Great stuff thanks Colin and looking forward as always for the next episode
HAHAHA get rid of those shoes who needs them! Used by too many people! Plus all she needs is some strong damage dealing and she can heal quite quickly! She was fun to play thanks so much for watching Paul!! One more scenario!
Great video. Can someone explain Spending and gaining blood power on the same turn if you are at max? I don't understand the interaction when you Play 4 BP for ultimate and on the same turn you gain 2. Isn't the BP spent at the time of the actual attack so when you gain the BP you are at max BP and cant gain 2, as the wording is "Gain 2 BP then deal 10 DMG"
@@OneStopCoopShop Thank you, makes more sense now! On the same regard, here is another example: You want to use "Gouge III" and roll 5 Hands for 8 DMG. You also have 3 of a kind and currently have 4 Bloodpower which you intent to use to heal for 8. Your oponent however has a very hefty defence which half the damage received on X roll and you want to see if it will activate, before deciding to spend the BP. You activate the ability and your oponent roll flops, so you decide to use 4xBP you already have. In this case do you still gain the BloodPower (from 3 of a kind) ?
Great play-through! Just wanted to add that on straight goals, minions should keep one of each 2-3-4-5 and keep 1 and 6 only if they already complete a straight. I think you played these ok in previous videos but not in this one. Still, so many exceptions in this game that little errors like that are likely to happen.
Also, I believe that you only have to pay difference between costs when you buy a card that upgrade one you already have bought. So let's say you bought v2 at 10 and now want the v3 at 25, you only have to pay 15. Not seen in this video but in a previous one, I also believe that you should discard and replace a v2 if you already have the v3 in hand.
The way I interpret the wording of Flight you could have activated it at 21:18 as you only need any die to be six and not a total of six. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@@OneStopCoopShop Hope you all have a jolly holiday Colin! :D Don't forget to bring us all back a stick of rock, and no that isn't a drugs reference lol
you are RIGHT! If I rolled a six on a die flight works, not 6 TOTAL! Sheesh. . . oh well thanks also for the catch on the defense, I was trying to make the game harder apparently. . . HAHA! Thank you both for watching and yes we had a blast in Acadia the last two weeks hiking all around the National Park!
33:00 On this defense role you should have stolen 2 health because the Defense Ability says Steal 1 health per (blood) rolled, and not On (blood) steal 1 health.
38:21 ... I know this was months ago, but it looks like this particular minion has a micro straight ability, so I think that 3, 4, 5 would have dealt 6 damage. But great video, and I'm sure you would've been fine!
Just one tip for anyone watching "During your Income Phase, you draw a card from your deck. If you need to draw a card, but your deck is empty, shuffle your Discard Pile to create a new deck first"
35:00 the damage are deal at the end of the attack phase. You did not took 5 damage, since you steal 1 health and he is dropped to 8 i think. You should take only 4. And at 59:00 , don't forget that you can molligan your loot cards, the rule are that you can always discard a loot card to draw a new card. So adding new cards to your deck will not clogged your deck !
Correct me if i'm wrong please, but I thought you only roll the loot die (5:06) with treasure chests on the tiles. When a minion is defeated i thought you got an unidentified card of that color.
@@OneStopCoopShop Oh no. Oh God. I've been playing wrong this whole time. My wife and I are on the fourth portal crawl (haven't won it yet). We are gonna have to restart. I'm toast. Wish me luck!
Hey, I saw you asking questions on several of these videos. I just wanted to let you know that Colin isn't with the channel anymore, so he won't be able to answer them, sorry!
54:11 The rules are simple : you can go up to 10 more than your starting health, this is the maximum health you can have in the basic game, i don't know if its the same in Adventures.

Using the blood power is an instant action so you can use the 4 before you gain the 2! One of the nice benefits of status effects!
