Hello, love your video! Very informative! Thinking about staying there but can’t afford a premier room. Is regular rooms the ones in buildings furthest away from beach and pool? If you get the very last building away from pool , about how long would your walk be to pool bar? I seen they have ice machines , we’re they working when you were there? Thanks

Hello! We stayed in the Tropical section of Barceló Maya in 2013, and I don’t remember the walk being too far to anything. I believe ice machines are available, we’ve just never used any while there. Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

@@harrisfamilyadventures__ I have the same question as @sandyfranklin552. You mentioned at the beginning of the video that you did not stay in a premium room at the Palace, but in another part of the video, you pointed out your hotel block from the pool. So I am just trying to gage how far it would be from the pool if one was to be assigned a room at the very last building at the Palace (not premium) vs upgrading to premium and getting a room closer to the pool/beach

Looking at the map, I’d say we were the second set of buildings off the beach and my parents were in the farthest buildings off the beach. Neither was a long walk. A minute or two?

It is a good family resort? We are going at the end of June, also the go karts still there ?

Hello! It’s a great resort for families, although we always had a really hard time getting a table for all nine of us. I do believe they still have go carts for an added cost. We didn’t explore them.
