@GM Kof hard its really difficult to give anything like that away. It actually costs a lot in taxes and transfer red tape. Brother, I know you’ve said in the past that y’all are done with Leeroy and you’re not gonna pursue deep 7s with him, but it seems like after this 2.0, maybe your heart is back in it? I hope so, and I think all of us hope so. If anything, do the absolute BARE minimum with aero to give him a little help, without changing the soul of him, and get his short track straightened out, and chase deep 7s. I know we would all love it and I think the interest and love for Leeroy is obvious by the disparity in views with and without him. Make it happen, let the eagles fly brother

I don't see him trying to push Leroy much further. One of the big issues IIRC is that they're basically at the limits of what the C5-style driveline can handle even with all the upgrades, so they end up breaking the trans or the diff every couple of runs when they're really pushing it. He's not fond of having to pull the trans/diff all the time, and the parts are starting to get hard to find, so he just wants to keep it where it's happy from now on. And yes, aero would help significantly, but at the same time it would kind of ruin the spirit of what Leroy is.
@@DefconMaster I think if they decided to pursue it, the parts wouldnt be an issue, the dude is one of the biggest names in the game right now with numerous sponsors. As for the spirit of Leeroy, I agree, thats why I was saying the bare minimum, if anything something for the front wheels/ direct airflow around the windshield and some sort of minimalist diffuser in the rear to shed unclean air, and thats about it. Those changed and better short track is deep 7s.

The great thing about this channel is every time they race something is different. A lot of racers build a car get it where it needs to be and then leave it, kind of like what cleetus has done with leroy, which I totally respect. The great thing about ruby is almost every time they show up to an event something is different whether its the turbo or a completely different motor. It's great!!!
Just want to share my appreciation for Cleetus here. Not only does he daily drive and race, but also edits these videos for us, at a time a deserved bed feels much more comfortable. Thank you so much Cleet for satisfying our curiosity real time!

Saw a few of the cars on trailers headed eastbound on 44, as I was coming back into OK from MO for work. A couple of 60s/70s Camaros, a wagon, but the one that stood out (mainly because of the color) was the LSXcalade.

Even with all the mishaps that just seems to make the experience even better, James breaking out left and right, Kevin having to push start the Dale truck, man I'd be having a ball. A real car guy's treat. It's like going to deer camp and not seeing a damn deer the whole trip, it's still a great time

Been there and done that. Won the classic boat show 2 years in a row easy and went to the next one not even trying. Then a few things went wrong and capped it off with blowing a motor in my race boat while taking a judge for a ride the day before judging. It was a wake up call that it's not always a cake walk.
