Tbh, the bad launch was to be expected. Lots of people easily forget the past. 2020 was a botched launch, so I simply told myself this time to wait a few days after launch. I did. Just bought it last night. Everything loads fine. Looks fine. Plays fine. I feel that simply adding a few days of wait after the launch can make all the difference in one's experience. But alas, everyone needs everything now. (To be fair, this isn't defending MS. There is no excuse for this joke of a launch.)
Asobo is a French company. They simply do things differently, ever tried driving a French car? All flight simulators for the last two decades have a one-click flyby view, Asobo thought bugger it they won't do it and instead give a convoluted, complicated, unwanted drone view.
It worked for me but the game is broken fr like I spawned in the beluga and it started stalling instantly and i dont have my planes that i bought in 2020
@ ik i restarted my game and they were there but still frames are incredibly low and theres no difference between 2020 and 2024 on 2020 i have a lot of frames but 2024 like 15fps ridiculous
Yep, they completely fucked it up. Last night was my only chance to play and I couldn't because Microsoft doesn't care about anything other than money. They've already moved on from this and have learned nothing, just like four years ago. Every other TH-cam scumbag is defending this. r/xbox is full of idiots defending MS and somehow claiming that it's due to racism (of course) and... you guessed it, Donald Trump. Nice job, Microsoft. You hyped up a product, made millions off it and now it doesn't work. MAYBE they'll get around to fixing it in four years when some intern feels like it. Maybe. Want a refund? Too bad, you're not getting it. Bill Gates needs to buy a 14th mansion he will never set foot in and he also needs money to pay more people to vote Democrat in 2028
Who spit into your coffee?? This is the most absurd rambling I've ever heard about flight sim 24. Yes it's broken. "They've already moved on" are you their CEO? How else would you know? Obviously they're gonna support this game, just like 2020, for 4 years with lots of new content, bug fixes etc. And it's been 2 days now and we went from "doesn't even load" to "can fly but is laggy". Seems like a good trajectory to be able to fully enjoy it a month from now. And, racists and Donald Trump?? You do realize that it's a French studio? Even if it was American that still wouldn't make any sense, and I've never seen any theory of the likes. How do you make this up? FS24 is most certainly a very minor profit for Microsoft and just a statement about what they can do. So obviously they're interested in getting it working.
The bad lunch could have something to do with the big storm that hit Seattle, the location of the servers on launch day.

You are very optomistic. This bloody shambles won't be fixed for years, and might even be killed off before that.
They lost my money to X-Plane from this debacle
2024, the year of the Sh1t AAA game.
It worked for me but the game is broken fr like I spawned in the beluga and it started stalling instantly and i dont have my planes that i bought in 2020
when i launched my game it came with a popup that said the things you bought from the marketplace will be coming to msfs 2024, just gotta wait
@ ik i restarted my game and they were there but still frames are incredibly low and theres no difference between 2020 and 2024 on 2020 i have a lot of frames but 2024 like 15fps ridiculous
Launched from minute one. Can fly, everything works as intended.
Wtf are you people doing.

It's a racquet this. Take millions for empty promises.
