I'm really enjoying Chris in this series. He's obviously got a ton of experience and is super smart, and he's mastered having just enough snark to be hilarious without letting years in the gig get to him and come off super jaded.

You need to have Chris more often in future videos. You two have a good chemistry working on bikes. I predict once the exhaust is changed out and finally tuned, you could get 140hp/150+ torque. Respect the power.

Ahhhh, a little Shadtree Surgeon smack talk! I love it! Those numbers will increase dramatically with a different exhaust and a different tune/tuner. As if 117/132 is anything to balk at but a few tweaks will unleash that motors power.

@@Tashin32 mostly just sales and import tax but honestly I kinda find it unwieldy to get a bike with a displacement higher than 300cc just as an everyday commuter - bigger bikes are better for short weekend getaways rather than everyday use imo

Have seen videos from 130 hp to 165 hp with the 131 build. I suspect there is a lot more in that motor with the right setup.

Recently got a tune and a 2 into 1 on my Fatbob with a 114. I personally love the look of it and it was a pretty decent bump in power from the stock exhaust.

I’m sure that bike feels great in a hard pull anyway. Lol. Keep in mind you have power to weight ratio on your side so Road King Kong might not “smoke you like a joint.” Lmao. Old Shadetree is the master of one liners. I absolutely love it when you all get together. Great stuff. I know that you love your Basani exhaust sound but sound and power don’t always get together. Break it in and enjoy doing all the little things to make it produce more power. 👍
Funny barnett clutches states there is no wrong way to put in the steel rings. You have a flat and rounded edge due to the stamping process when manufacturing them.

Harley cam is killing the power you need aftermarket huge difference that and a 2 in to 1 with a diff tune you should get like 150 hp 140 tq

On my 19 RGS with 131 with the Harley everything, and a D&D 2-1 Billet Cat with the Big Bore baffle I'm at 139 TQ and 134 HP. Definitely get better exhaust like they said.
I'm sticking to warranty complaint for now, except for the exhaust. Since I ride all over the country and want to make sure any issues will be covered.

Well, that blows man. You def have the weight advantage between you and Josh. But his tune was factory on a road king with upgraded suspension. It’s wild how much those pipes kill your power. I kinda like the pipes the way you have it styled.
If the pipes don’t work maybe holler at the boys where Shade is loaning his 2 wheel yacht at Bert’s Barracuda. Maybe your pocket tech could see what they did. I think as long as you can get 1hp for every ci, that’s decent.

have been following this series. alot of great info here and very very interested in the 2-1 #'s compared to your current 2-2 exhaust.. i have a 19' slim stage 3 build with VH 2-2 big radius and may go to a 2-1 if the #'s are that much better.

Another option for ethanol free fuel is to use REC 90, typically for boats and off road use only but nobody will tell you anything. I know Orlando is not a big boating city but I am sure there are some stations that have it. All the WaWa in Miami have REC 90 fuel along with some others. Its better than ethanol free 87.
No luck on aviator fuel but my two sources of ethanol free are both rated 90 octane. Have fun on that beast.
And the SE 131 disappoints again.

Big bore kits only way to make bigger power for Harley’s to a point. Big bores do not like to rev past 6000 rpm cuz of all the internal inertia weight. Like comparing a Lambo V12 to a big block Chevy. More heat form more horses which will effect reliability. The Vrod may still out perform as water cooled, less heat, and tighter clearances. Let’s do a race?

I wish they would come up with a way to make an upgraded clutch without such a tight pull. I had an 883 with an upgraded clutch after I did the 1200 engine uprade. I hated The stiff clutch. I even paid extra money for a kit that reduced the pull by 30 percent. It still sucked.
I had my numbers WAY out there. I was expecting atleast 145hp...
You can get 117hp out of a 110 EASILY.
@@Ridehighfxdb Yeah. I have seen 107 twin cams make 115hp 125tq with headwork and the right cams. Its crap that these 131" motors come with crap EPA cam. I think Woods just released a cam for it though.

I got the 131 stage 4 put into my 2020 cvo limited 117. I have supertrapp slip ons, supertrapp catless headers and power vision tuner. It's currently making 128 hp and 146 ft lbs of torque at the wheels.. problem is with the tunining due to the rdrs traction control.. not many tunes from various companies have perfected the rdrs tunes, so my power is dropping off at 5,000 rpm,,, am waiting to get a tune file from fuelmoto to sort it out, and sort it out,, hopefully with more power,,,,, bye the way, that's with the included se 517 cam,,,

Who should NOT get a Harley with a 313ci engine? I am absolutely sold on the Low Rider S with the 131 ci kit. I LOVE the sound it makes after it gets the kit. However, I just started riding in December, so I know I couldn't handle the bike right now. Let alone afford one at the moment, but I'm about to get a high-paying job after I graduate. Should someone keep buying bikes that have a higher displacement until they get to that point? Should they take track classes? You live in Florida, right? How does it handle the traffic in the summer heat?

That is rather shocking number out of that engine.. Now I am sure that I can openly speak for everyone in saying that NONE of us expected numbers that low out of a 131cc engine.. So I am rather curious as to what the numbers will be when the new tune is put on along with the new exhaust

Hey Blockhead are you running wideband 02 sensors and the Harley auto tuner as well cause to make it a fair comparison to thunder max with Harley I think this is needed anyway what ever you do I will still watch.
I would Suggest that you Install a Twin Fan Oil Cooler now that you will be Operating at Higher Revolutions maybe you would Like to Get more Miles out of the Engine before you Have to Rebuild it, I Myself will Run a Graphite Additive and a Mineral Based Oil from Penrite after my first 2000 Kilometres on a Millwaukee 8 and Show all of You including the Engine Manufacturer that you can Quite Possibly get a Further 70,000 Kilometers out of that Powerplant and that also Goes for the Primary and the Transmision too .

@@BlockheadMoto Cam, 2-1 exhaust and a tuner who knows what he is doing should push you into the 150-160tq range easily. I suggest Fuel Moto but Wisconsin is probably a little far for you...
