    You use the green block for emptying the glue from the gun and mix colours using another gun to give you marble effects when filling in the voids use a tooth pick to swirl the colours before apply the heat sink, just a thought.

    Did you ever make a video on the 2 part resin method for larger holes? Have a plank with a big hole in a knot that I need to fill.

    As long as you don't sand it, it's great. But even with just the heat from sanding you get it to melt and clog up your paper.
    Not to great with any heat on tables also, so nice for small repairs, but I'm not convinced for anything a bit bigger.

    • @ManorWood
      @ManorWood  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve definitely sounded this and never had a problem, As I said I’m doing a series of videos showing you all three ways how to fill defects cracks or just repair wood there is no one way fixes all for large areas resin is best for quick fixes and most small defects if black suits to job the hot milk his best otherwise the superglue CA

    • @emielvisser621
      @emielvisser621 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ManorWood the black color is definitely the way to go. But I am not too convinced about longtime durability. Never got any big complaints, but we only used it for really small repairs because of the heat sensitivity.

  • @jmwoodcraft7842
    @jmwoodcraft7842 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How hard & durable is the glue when it sets? could it take a bit of abuse or would you go to the superglue / resin for any height traffic areas?

      It’s about the sticks... the guns are really good and are optimized for the product, but these work in your regular glue gun.
