Probably a worthy note to mention, IU has the same team since her debut. These staff members have been with her for 12 going 13 years now. IU started at Loen Ent, they are one of largest music distributors in SK and now KakaoM/Melon but their music management branch was very small. IU basically carried her company to what it is today. She has been with her company since the start from Loen, Fave, KakaoM, Edam. Although the name changes but the parent company is the same. As a side note as well, IU has a separate studio called the BUNKER. She let's junior musicians use her studio to practise and record for free.

I really like that IU is almost an advocate for self love and confidence. She's open about it and very honest in her interviews. She doesn't shy away from that and I really admire it
When you type dlwlrma with Korean keys it becomes 이지금 and 이지은 is her real name. In Korean 은 means silver but because gold is better than silver she makes her Nick Name by changing 은 to 금 witch means Gold so it basically her Nick Name that is wrote in English Key's!

Im glad he noticed that/brought that up about IU and how she shows behind the scenes of her stuff. She always shows her team aswell, because to her, it's not just about her and IU is not one person, but her whole team/family. That's the difference between IU and every other celebrity in the world tbh and why she's a REAL celebrity. In my opinion, she's what a star/celebrity/person is.

Hanteo is one of her managers.
While her 1st manager, Jonghan, created the company she is now in, Edam Entertainment. The company then become a subsidiary of Kakao M (formerly Loen Ent, the original agency of IU).
So technically she is still working with the same agency, just with different structure where Edam Ent can fully focus their work on IU.

Marshmallow is one of her early songs (around 2009). From what I remembered that marshmallow costume costs a lot way back (really expensive). They can’t afford to throw it so they’ve been using it even today (IU’s Birthday surprise and Yoo Hee Yeol Sketchbook performance). :)
PS: They have no use for the costume because IU made a promise that she will not perform Marshmallow when she turned adult which is 10 years after her debut. :D

Quick story about her "parent" company (KakaoM/Loen), they were always this big company, they focused more on music distribution, and operated as a talent agency, event management etc. It's not necessarily known for it's artists/idol groups. IU, however is by far they're most popular and really successful artist they house. She's current under a new label (Edam) that's a subsidiary of her former label. The founder of her new label is one of her managers and she took her team since debut with her to the new label.

It's said that "you are a successful idol/artist if you hold a concert at Olympic Gymnastics Arena" because apparently it's hard to do a concert there. I think it's the biggest arena in Korea. Only a few artist have held concert there:
6 1st generation groups
11 2nd gen groups
12 3rd gen groups including EXO, BTS etc..
A bigger achievement is if they can do a concert at Jamsil Hall, which can fit 60k+ people. BTS have done a concert there & IU is suppose to do it last year for her 12 Anniversary Concert but Corona decided to show up😑😒
