IU is Korea's little sister... I love her, Above the Time is just fantastic. Watch her drama Dream High with Suzy, a high school for idols, the music is so amazing. She says there that she has perfect pitch.

there are a few albums of her where she re-make old songs and seems to bring them to the new generation.
some of those are really nice. no doubt you will hear them as you proceed with your journey. (some of the songs here are the remake songs)
