While both you and the person you are interviewing sound as though you know what you are talking about.... you both keep doing a thing that has frustrated me for literally years. You keep calling Nazis 'far right'. If you used a good translation service, you'd find out that the Z in nazi stood for socialism all along!
Whoever has controlled the textbook companies and the media has done some seriously hard work re-writing history. Even a lot of people who consider themselves 'educated' have in fact, been brainwashed.
-Nazis are as far left as person can possibly be.... Margaret Sanger (of planned parenthood/one of the founders of eugenics) and Ch.Hitler were on the same page regarding abortion. Same as the modern left.
-Ch.Hitler was an environmentalist, to the point where you could make the claim he'd worship the creation, rather than the creator. (modern leftists will tell you that humanity is a cancer on 'mother earth'. sure sounds Hitlerian to me!)
I could make many other points here, but this is a good start.
Also, please, please, please, NEVER refer to Cat-a-holics (misspelled deliberately to avoid cents-or-chip) as being Christians. The hierarchy of that organization has done unimaginable damage to humanity... and sadly, because of the deliberate re-writing of history most people don't understand the extent of it. Real Christians are painted with the same brush as that organization, which actually tried to off us all, at different points of time in history.
If you want to be a fair and balanced researcher, speaker and interviewer, you need to read, and watch, the stories of those who are being erased.
There is a pastor who researches topics incredibly thoroughly. If you want to know a lot more about the true history of Nazi-ism, and how it relates to the world today, go over to the getalifeministries site, and somewhere on that page, or maybe the 'video' page, you should find a few docu-sermons on Klaus Schwab and Nazi-ism. You'll also find Cat-a-holic history and their real teachings...
If this doesn't appeal, try reading "A Woman Rides the Beast" by Pastor Dave Hunt, or watching the docu-sermon of the same name. (partially filmed in Rome) You can also read the book "Foxe's Book of Martyrs", BUT, if you do that, be sure your copy was printed well before the B.Graham crusades, those are altered.
One last topic which most people don't even find controversial, but it should be. Please listen to "Seducing Spirits and Doctrines of Devils" by Pastor Dave Hunt. He is talking about the fathers of Psychiatry, and where their information came from. There is documentary titled "psychiatry, industry of death", also worth seeing. (this one does not have a religious bent at all) Then there is a book by the much maligned Doctor Vernon Coleman, titled "Psychiatry, Black Art and Confidence Trick".
I know I'm asking a lot here, but if you want to claim to be well informed... there are some 'heretics' you haven't heard out yet.

I worked in mental health for years, and whenever we had a patient who was suffering with any form of delusion about themselves, we had a policy of not supporting it. For example, if someone thought they were the king of England, we wouldn't go along with it. We didn't deny it either, as this was felt to be potentially upsetting for the patient, but we certainly didn't go along with the delusions. I don't understand how things have changed, and we now have a legal obligation to go along with people's delusions or face fines/prison sentences. 'I identify as the king of England and my pronouns are your majesty' etc. Bloody madness.

If you deleted the authors political opinions from the whole text it would be just very insightful and helpful. As it stands the woman writing it comes off as bitter, the sad thing is I can’t tell if she actually believes this rubbish or if just did it so her mates wouldn’t attack her. @@miraladak2314 Yes, this conflict between Israel and the Palestinians again. And once again it is so extremely one-sided. It’s an enormously complex issue going back centuries. I get that our host here is a Jew himself because he talks about it in 90+% of his interviews. Still, there is another side to this debate. The proponents of the other side aren’t all either insane Islamists or little, random old ladies who are easily intimidated. I don’t live in the UK so I don’t know who can debate the issue intellectually but if this channel is going to keep talking about this conflict it’s about time the other side is heard. I realize it’s going to be a real challenge for Andrew Gold but this is starting to look like propaganda. It’s quite possible that subscribers will unsubscribe if they’re going to listen to opinions they don’t agree with. At the same time I bet none of the subscribers would want to be a Palestinian living in Israel no matter how “extremely multicultural and extremely liberal” (41:36) it is.

    • @m-alexandria-g
      @m-alexandria-g 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@azilgaard”Subscribers will unsubscribe if asked to listen to opinions they don’t agree with”?
There exist plenty of spaces that are safe, affirming echo chambers for almost any given opinion. In fact, these days, those places are more standard than any space made for critical, diverse analysis of contrasting thoughts and opinions.
Disagreeing with what you hear and taking your business or presence elsewhere is fine, but how can you ever subscribe to a channel called “heretics” and then feel entitled to spout those sort of high-horse disgruntled grumbles?
What point is served by saying, “Conform to established consensus in your anti-establishment space, or you may face consequences of popularity”?
This is Andrew’s channel and it was founded on his realization that unpopular opinions can render one… unpopular.
The proposed solution, in the existence of this channel, is therefore to compile “heretical” stances that are challenging in general-not, in principle, to find popularity and reach consensus among the niche and fringe instead-although, of course, this is capitalism and the internet so that is a necessity in some ways, I grant you.
You can go elsewhere; you can start your own show; you can insulate yourself to nearly any rhetoric you find offensive and limit your intellectual curiosity to the point of perfect comfort, hearing only what you’d like.
But to intentionally engage in a space that’s made by a person who of course has his personal biases-to label that propaganda-when you’ve admittedly subscribed, presumably, since you seem intelligent to me, when knowing the point and principle are offering counter-narratives-and then to be upset when you hear those narratives given a platform because they’re counter to YOUR beliefs, AND to go a step further and threaten “people may unsubscribe if you provide them what they came here seeking!” It may be an effective tactic to make Andrew squirm, since we know he is a bit approval-seeking (again, amplified by a post-Internet capitalism in which this is how he makes a living) but what purpose is it serving to the original, questioning man within you who chose to partake in this content to begin with?
      I mean… just… what?
It may be a powerfully threatening statement in some ways but it’s intellectually dishonest as well as a disservice to what otherwise seems to be your reasonable critical nature.
This seems like this is your hot-button issue, and that’s something that, if you want to be strong in your convictions rather than hide behind them, YOU should analyze within rather than projecting outward-why are YOU willing and curious to be challenged on various things but NOT on a single stance: could that strike you as ideologically rather than logically motivated, if you were looking at another such person with the same behavior?
Is this particular issue being distilled into a single dominant view so critical to your psychological wellbeing? Such that you can’t acknowledge that it challenges your understanding of your research and the facts, and then move along to go get your affirmation needs affirmed in any of many thousands of standard places?
When I’m looking for these counter-narratives, I endure tons of absolute rubbish and inane theories…
…it’s tough to accept someone like a Flat Earther could also have valid points about immigration, or that a staunch anti-vaxxer might have an interesting perspective on mental health…
But like a canteen/cafeteria, you can be exposed to variety and then choose a combo based on what you see and know. Don’t ask that canteens be specialized restaurants only serving your favorite meals from a narrow culture, and tell them they’re better off jettisoning any meal you disdain… just go get your favorite meals where they’re served if you’re that sensitive.
I’m comfortable with my knowledge that the Earth is spherical, and you can’t dissuade me otherwise, so I’m comfortable being exposed to the lunacy of that argument, witnessing its hypocritical misapplication of science, and yes, even fretting about which dummies it might impact… but I don’t worry about its efficacy or popularity as relates my personal consumption of information. I’m not offended by a platform being given to what I find inaccurate or silly, because my ultimate guideline is freedom of speech and thought: freedom even to be wrong or dumb. In fact, respectfully learning and thus knowing what the “other side’s” arguments are is very helpful to me feeling MORE secure that my beliefs can stand up to scrutiny. I’ve listened to MAPs and AGPs and all sorts of folks I disagree with from my soul-but I listened and often got a kernel or two at least of new information to inform me more fully.
Again, if it’s offensive to you that this be posed at all, or scary that you think some people could be so dumb as to argue with what you see as self-evident… just move along.
Otherwise it sounds like a religious person who wants to be intellectually curious on many topics but NOT on the existence of God, which is an offensive topic to him if even considered…
This hypothetical person has every right to their feelings, but in reality is cocooned by the warm fuzzy feeling of dogma, thereby unable to question their own established “knowledge” or to accept that there is ever a good reason to question their own knowledge and knowledge in general:
In that case, HERETICS may indeed not be the place for that person.
And if it’s not, that’s fine, but in a free society, which is what enables such variety of choices and opinions, when visiting a space designated for those uncomfortable counter-narratives to be posed, he gains nothing but his own potential for critical thinking when judging and condemning those who question his dogma… he should vote with his feet (move alooooong) rather than claim that variety of opinion or even unpopular opinion or EVEN “incorrect” opinion is to be silenced… he shouldn’t have to threaten or even warn others, as those warnings are based on assumptions of supply and demands, in a truly free society supplied ideas will be challenged from all angles and largely or entirely abandoned with no demand if they’re rotten or false; that’s a given… and he shouldn’t kid himself that he is or ever was open to opposing views, except those that served to affirm his other preexisting beliefs, when and only if that was convenient for him.

What he is describing about "walking away from what everyone thinks" happened back in 2020 in Australia. 4 years ago we had COVID hitting across the planet and I was excommunicated by everyone I knew, my husband's family and my family. It was horrifying - absolutely horrifying. Everyone was so incredibly rude and insulting and made it so very personal rather than what I saw it as which is that I had information that they did NOT have and I was astounded that they were so completely resistant to hearing that information. I am now so incredibly lonely and deeply saddened by it all but have healed considerably. I was also talking about mass immigration at the time and was called racist, DUMB UNEDUCATED right thinker, anti vaxxer, idiot and every other thing they could throw at me. Critical thinking went out the window with immigration and vaccines and anyone who stood with a different opinion and other ways of thinking were cancelled. xx Brisbane Australia

And so if those educators at the final end of formal education are to be saved from the sort of insanity he alludes to, then the whole system of selecting those teachers in the earliest years needs to be scrutinised and changed, and it needs to be done immediately. The right thing to do was socratic questioning in a caring way. The problem now is that delusions are being treated as "protected characteristics " I feel this is mainly due to faulty education of people who cannot critically think. Finally today on another I found a clip on another you tube site which shows the Foreign Minister for the UAE predicting the future of the West and it is what most people in the UK are afraid of.

    • @Ollies2CentsWardill

Thomas Sowell is an academic "expert" working for an ideological think tank who claims that academic experts shouldn't be trusted. I would double-check if he told me he the sky was blue. Read his article on climate change and it was just another poorly reasoned list of false tropes by a contrarian. The woke being delusional does not translate to the anti-woke being paragons of reason, a mistake sadly becoming increasingly common on both sides of the political spectrum.

"Higher education is a world that is up side down", That is a true statement: We are looking at some of the most privileged children the world has ever seen. Proclaiming to be the champions of the weak and vulnerable, the downtrodden and the general masses. However, they have never once in their life, talked to a farmer, a lorry drive or working class people for more than 5 minutes.
I was raised on a farm, working in slaughter houses, fisheries and then proceeded to University and got my doctorate after spending 10 years University in natural sciences. The biggest issue I saw in Uni. is that it is the social sciences, who believe they have all the data to make informed decisions and "informed opinions" about the condition of society, without EVER interacting with these people. You cant become a good piano player only by reading the notes, you need the experience.

I spent time at the highest ranked sociology dept in the U.K. sociology is, in the main, simply a petty bitchfest about whose personal theory is more popular. You get by by quoting the ‘right’ authors and working with them and their pet theories. Heaven help you if you point out their pet theory is wrong somehow. And they’re all ‘peer reviewing’ each others’ work, a circle of back-patting that allows no dissenting voices. Entire books and even department are based on some lecturer’s niche hobby, like goth subculture, or paganism, or polyamory. They quote their mates from the love-in and claim ‘lived experience’, while they were just drunk and screwing, then writing about how great it all is afterwards.
It’s very hard to write and analyse something in an unbiased way if you’re involved in it, but writing what you’re involved in and singing its praises is the very basis of a lot of what passes as “sociology” nowadays. It’s not a science, it’s a popularity contest. Some of the hard sciences are going the same way too, notably those around the gender stupidity.

@@JustMeUpNorth That sounds a lot like the people I knew who studied sociology.
Sociology has declined to a state of being liberal arts, it is no longer a science.
The humanities decayed their own institution in the name of "equity" or "academic liberties".
They abandoned scientific reasoning and critical thought in favor of what I can only describe as pseudo religions.

Toxic masculinity is where positive male tendency qualities of physical defence, security, expansion of life-possibilities etc. become exaggerated towards violence and aggression.
Toxic femininity would be when great female tendency qualities like nurture, kindness and empathy become a prioritisation of feeling over fact and subjectivity over objectivity - very much part of the present messed up Zeitgeist.

I've never been a go with the crowd sort of personality, i have my opinions but i like to think of myself as a moralist, let people be people but recently 😕 I've grown increasingly distressed about what's happening in Britain and don't recall it ever being this insane, so much is happening all at once, but there is no reliable news reporting just the facts... it's all about people's opinions and feelings now a days but no real reporting of the story, as the saying gose, there's his side, her side and the real side of the story...
I'm terrrified where it's all leading because i don't really know what to believe, but I don't want to believe anything...
it feels like British society is being gutted and its entails are being left on the street for scavengers to pick over.
To add, question ❓ if trans women are to be thought of as woman and have all their rights, do trans men have the same rights as men?
22:44 university is a waste of money it seems, higher education my I, reaction is all about the lizard brain and all these students seem to do is react to what they read or hear, about other people's opinions, all about feeling and instincts, it takes the higher function of the manual brain to act, to make choices and informed desion, something a lot of people seem to be incapable of these days, not only the student population but also people in position of power and influence.

As someone who had studied global warming in university, I was passionate about fighting it. I was also passionate about getting women into STEM. Then I traveled the UK (dual citizen), to get my Masters in Museum Studies. (I got a degree that couldn't be used in the field, and I wasn't particularly interested in teaching, so I thought designing exhibits would be the next best thing.) Then I learned about repatriation and how different groups are covered in exhibits, etc. Okay, I was still onboard with this. But then THEY kept pushing the bar. Now everything from overseas needed to be sent back to the countries they came from, regardless. Okay, wait a minute. Many items in the US were purchased or gifts from those countries. DOESN'T MATTER! SEND THEM BACK. Then conversations about how trans men are women. They just keep moving the goal posts further and further. It isn't me who changed. It is them. My values have remained consistent.

Although I always enjoy both this channel & Dr Philip Kiszely, and appreciate discussion that explores what's happening, I really do think it's high time the conversation is more about why it's happening. The psychology that's motivating the behaviour. It's not always possible to know exactly why an individual acts the way they do, but behaviour is motivated, so it's possible to draw conclusions about their behaviour in general. At around 56mins 14secs Dr Kiszley finally states the core motivator for everything he's been talking about - immaturity.
Ultimately if you strip away the specifics and look at the behaviour, it's immature. The proof is always in the response to opposition. If it's hostile, it's immaturity. It's an adult toddler having a tantrum because they're not getting their way. We don't accept this from children so why do we accept it from adults? This is where we're at as a society, at the mercy of adult toddlers. Although specific psychological conditions like narcissism are often mentioned in such cases, it all stems from a core of emotional immaturity, namely infantilism.

"WOKENESS" refers to a contemporary ideology rooted in Critical Theory, race, and identity politics, often infused with elements of Marxism, which emphasizes a hierarchical view of victim-hood and collective identity. This ideology tends to prioritize group identities over individual agency, leading to an overemphasis on identity categories such as race, gender, and sexual orientation. Critics argue that "wokeness" fosters a culture of victim-hood, promotes intolerance towards differing viewpoints (commonly known as "cancel culture"), and undermines the principles of individualism and meritocracy. Furthermore, it is often associated with policies and practices that prioritize diversity over qualifications, potentially leading to reverse discrimination and the devaluation of excellence and achievement.
